"Izu, let's make sure to be friends with Watanabe-san. Poor man must be pretty lonely." Inko decided to involve him in their lives as he must have struggled. He couldn't even walk normally in his own home and the feeling he gives off, and knowing the cruel nature of humans, must not earn him many close ones.
"Of course, Mom!" Izuku felt the same way and had even read articles on so-called "Villainous Quirks" that was detestable to think about. All Might would definitely want to help if he were in his position, so naturally, Izuku would. He knew what it was like to be alone and avoided due to something they were born with.
His phone suddenly started ringing.
All Might
Growing excited, "I'll be right back, Mom!" He practically disappeared into his room.
Inko was stunned as she had never seen him that excited from a phone call.
'Could it be…?' She smiled softly, coming to an answer.

Closing the door, Izuku sat on his bed and answered.
"Hey, All Might...what's up?" He was naturally nervous and didn't know what to say, so it came out awkwardly.
"Young Midoriya, I am here to call about setting up a time to have dinner and meet your mother!" He laughed loudly and was very direct.
Izuku's brain froze.
"My...mother? How come you want to meet her? Is something wrong? Do you–" He was beginning to spiral into depression.
"NO, nothing like that, my dear boy. It's just that...I believe the decision to keep your mother out of the loop was shortsighted. Coming over for dinner to introduce myself and reveal who I am and our secret." All Might explained, preventing the boy from thinking the worst.
Izuku was once again stunned.
"I thought you said it was best to keep the secret from everyone since it would only bring harm to those around us? What changed?" He remembered the conversation from a month ago clearly.
"A dear friend of mine showed me that it was an ill-advised choice to keep it from your mother. I should've realized it myself, but at the end of the day, you'll need your own support and it will soon be yours, and who you tell will be up to you." All Might seemed a bit embarrassed that he overlooked something as critical as telling the boy's mother would be far better than keeping her in the dark.
Izuku thought about it and he had to admit that he felt very guilty about keeping a giant secret from the only person who's loved him his entire life, even if she didn't believe in him; she was always there, and that was far more than anyone else ever did.
"Okay. I understand, but a dear friend of All Might's? Does that mean he knows?" Izuku connected the dots.
"Yes, a hero fanboy like you would know who he is. My former sidekick, Sir Nighteye knows." All Might confirmed.
"REALLY?! He has his own agency now and no one really knows why you split up…" He started mumbling again.
"STAY WITH ME HERE! Young Midoriya that brings me to my other point. He also wants to meet you. I told him that you were my successor." All Might dropped that bomb.
"SIR NIGHTEYE WANTS TO MEET ME?!" He shouted loudly in surprise, seeming to have stars in his eyes. "Of course! How about 7 tonight? My mom can make her famous katsudon and it would be a great honor to have…"
"OKAY OKAY! Geez you really are a hero fanboy. Seven tonight sounds good and I'll let him know, but...Young Midoriya, I have to warn you. When I told him you were my successor, he wasn't exactly pleased." He didn't want Nighteye to ruin his self-esteem and to be torn down, and while Sasaki said he wouldn't, he knew the man would be looking for any sign of unworthiness with his eyes alone.
Izuku's heart sank into the abyss.
"...Why? Is it because I'm quirkless? Or that I'm too far behind? Am I unworthy?" He seemed to be on the verge of tears.
"NO, of course not. I chose you, and whether he likes it or not changes nothing. He just has his own idea of what my successor would look like." All Might wasn't exactly wrong here. He is worthy and quirkless alone wouldn't be right, but rather because he himself was quirkless and Sasaki attributed his decision based on bias. "I'll explain more at dinner."
Izuku calmed down and gained some courage from his words.
"Alright, I'll just have to prove him wrong!" Izuku stated with courage but was actually very nervous.
All Might was quite emotional at this.
"Young Midoriya...THAT IS EXACTLY WHY I CHOSE YOU! SHOW YOUR HEROIC SPIRIT!" He instinctively transformed and laughed loudly before spitting up blood and reverting back.
"ALL MIGHT?! ARE YOU OKAY?!" Midoriya shouted in concern.
"Everything is perfect now, Young Midoriya! I'll see you then! Just text me the address." He added the last part because telling him Sasaki already knows would only put him more on edge.
"Of course, goodbye!" Exchanging goodbyes, Izuku was over the moon. Nervewracking and terrifying, yes, but also to have All Might and Sir Nighteye for dinner was like a dream come true.
He opened the door and saw his mother standing right at the door in pure confusion.
"Why does Sir Nighteye want to meet you and were you just talking to All Might? What's going on, Izuku?" She could naturally hear his shouting through the door and grew nervous. What was her boy getting himself involved in?
She knew he was training to become a hero as he went out to exercise and needed more food, but how did he know these people enough to meet and talk to them, especially his idol and the Symbol of Peace? Something was going on.
Her initial thoughts from the call he rushed to take was that he was talking to a girl and that got her excited, but now she was very worried. He wasn't telling her something, and she was bound to get to the bottom of it.
"Uh...uh…" Izuku's brain lagged as he mentally slapped himself for being loud, but now how was he supposed to tell her? 'All Might, this is far more terrifying than you made it sound!'
She sighed and reached to hold his hand.
"Just tell me, Izu. I won't be mad." Inko was just worried.
"Okay, so I wasn't exactly alone when I was training and All Might took me in as his successor and now Sir Nighteye wants to meet but he doesn't really like me, but I want to prove him wrong but it sounds terrifying and…" He started speaking so fast in pure anxiety and explained what happened on the phone.
She had long gotten used to his little "quirk" funnily enough, so she understood quite a lot of it.
"I'm not mad, but I'm kinda annoyed you agreed on such short notice, but I can make it work. Successor? Sir Nighteye? I'd like to see him badmouth my baby! You all have some explaining to do." She huffed at the thought of Sir Nighteye saying anything negative about her son. She'd like to see him try, she'll let him have it! "I'm going to get dinner started, so make sure to get ready Izu. Oh! We should also invite Watanabe-san over too. We can have the talk after."
She went off in the kitchen and started plotting loudly.
'All Might, I'm sorry for throwing you under the bus, but you'd understand...right?' Izuku mentally prayed for his mentor as she kept rambling in an angry tone.

Nezu was sitting in his office as he mulls over various headlines, stream clips, and intel on the company, Singularity Games.
"I wonder what kind of mind could create something like this." He had a slight smile on his face, calculating how this could change the world.
He needed to contact this person, and even with his influence, there was only an alias, "The Creator" and an email.
Perhaps he could get this person to be a special instructor at the school? Based on his insight, the chance of real-world power increasing through the game was likely. This would be an immense boon to his students, especially with specially curated training simulations.
Disasters, rescue, and incredibly strong villains with no real-world consequences of failure. Pure learning and improvement.
Opening up the official U.A. email address, he sends a message, but even he was unsure if this mysterious company would respond.

"Madam President, we haven't been able to find anything," Hawks reported to his superior as the only information they had was what Singularity Games had directly given.
She was naturally irritated by the news.
"How could there be nothing? Not a single worker? Location? Hell, even a damn name? You're dismissed, Hawks." She was displeased and sent him out.
Hawks had a small smile and bowed, making his way out.
'I already signed up, so hopefully I get one. Maybe Endeavor will want to play? I've always wanted to team up with him.'
The president sighed in frustration at the lack of intel. Her job was to maintain order in Japan and this was quickly becoming a headache.
If this person only released such a device to only heroes, then maybe there'd be a chance to recruit him into the Hero Public Safety Commission, but even villains could get access which was unacceptable.
First, find someone from this company and arrest them.
Second, get the head researcher through information from a lowly employee and offer many benefits for joining.
Refuse? Send them all to Tartarus and confiscate every device and seize their research for their own gains. Aiding and strengthening villains and criminals is a crime.
She refuses that nothing will turn up with enough time. The Japanese government was completely useless, as their systems show everything was legit, and even anonymity isn't punished by law, so everything is above board. That was what truly frustrated her.
In the meantime, she had pretty much every employee under her sign up to get as many devices as possible to try and reverse-engineer them. Maybe she could talk with All Might and use his connection with David Shield to try and understand how it was made and perhaps replicate it.
'Just the kind of shit I need.' She pulled out a cigarette and lit it. First All Might was injured in his battle with All For One, and now this. They didn't even recover a body and that put her on edge.
Naturally, they never told All Might about this as peace and order needed to be maintained. Who knew the kind of chaos that would ensue if that ever got out?

Endeavor was also reading through headlines and reports from this suddenly emerging company that is currently taking the world by storm.
He told his masterpiece, Shoto, about it, and while he hated his father, he was quite interested, but once he realized he'd be playing with his father, he said no and hung up.
'What am I going to do about that rebellious child?' He was angry at how foolish his creation was being. Another way to get stronger, and yet he rejects it? Foolish as ever.
While he still believed that Shoto could surpass All Might in the future, with this new tech, another path opened to him.
'Fine, Shoto. If you don't want to realize your birthright and surpass All Might, I'll do it myself.' He knew this was his best chance at ever closing the distance between himself and All Might.
He was going to take it and signed up along with one of his most trusted and capable sidekicks, Burnin'.
This also created a very uncomfortable feeling. If he could've simply done it himself, then what was all this for? He shook off the thought and ignored it.
