I watch the hologram in front of me and watch as the last red mark turns into blue, and see that we finally take over the last planet in the system. There are still more planets in the outer part of the system, but all of them are Death Worlds.
We have checked the planets and come out clean. There are no traitors on the planets, and we can completely ignore those planets.
It has been a couple of months since the first expansion, and we can take over the entire system. Roboute gave the Overlord status to me, and I am now the Lord of the whole Moebian System.
To some, it is an honor, but to me? It is a chore. At least there are no longer nobles who try to lick my boots and backstab me when I am not looking. Most of them turn out to be heretics, and the remaining run away when the situation gets dire.
Roboute revokes their title, and when they try to complain, even bringing their so-called connection, they discover the reason the Primarch was created for war. They get executed. Roboute might be one of the kindest Primarchs, but he is still a master of war and someone who is more than willing to kill people who try something stupid.
Anyway, I am now the Overlord of the Moebian System and the Imperium Saint. I hold power over a massive amount of life, and it makes me nervous. What if my decision kills a lot of them? What if my decision causes a drought? What if my decision sends them to the dark ages?
"You need to discard that kind of thinking, Partner."
'Ddraig! You are awake.'
"Yeah. The Juggernaut Drive takes a lot out of me. However, I am good enough now. Try not to use Juggernaut Drive for another two to three months."
'I will try. However, in this universe, you don't know what will appear.'
"That is fair. However, let's get back to you being an Overlord. That kind of thinking is a self-fulfilling prophecy. What you need to do is to be the greatest leader they can hope for. Make sure they live a good life. When a war appears at your front door, lead them. When they die, give them some kind of thing that makes their families feel you try to remember them. Does that make you a kind ruler? No. Kind rulers will not lead their people to war. Kind rulers will surrender to enemies to prevent their people from going to war. You will be a great ruler. You can be kind, but you also make sure you are not too kind. It is a game of Carrot and Stick. Give them a generous amount of carrots, but make sure your stick is big enough to destroy anyone who dares to shake your rule. It is a heavy job, but someone needs to take that job in time of war."
I look at the hologram in front of me, deep in thought, and after a few seconds, let out a sigh.
'You are right, Ddraig. Thank you for that. However, since when did you know how to rule?'
"What? I have a lot of hosts before you, partner. Quite a few of them are rulers, and I saw all kinds of rulers."
'I see.'
I take a deep breath and notice a notification from the Chaos Gacha. With a mental command, I open it.

One Piece - Allows you to reinforce your body or an object you are holding with an invisible force field that hardens them and allows them to interact with intangibility, and at higher levels, can even be projected.
Not a bad ability, but not great either. It is better to receive something that allows me to support the army from the back because we are expanding. Skills that would enable me to command an army will be better at the moment.

Your skills and talent in martial arts are on the level of legends; you are a true prodigy. You can quickly master most forms of martial arts, and your basic comprehension of unarmed combat is incredible; your hands and feet are actual weapons that wouldn't lose out to swords and spears.
Now, this is something I can use and happily receive. Lately, I've been doing nothing but going to war and making sure the reclaiming is going smoothly. Other than that? I spend my free time sparring with one of the Custodes.
Because of my Viltrumite Physiology, I have an advantage in physical strength. However, that doesn't stop them from kicking my ass. If I go all out, I know I will win. Sadly, we spar, and most of them focus on hand-to-hand combat.
I never once won against one of them in pure physical combat.
I only win a few times because I can use two of my powers at once. Sadly, I cannot use the same strategy twice against them, because they immediately know how to counter it. I learned it the hard way.
They can even counter me, even when I push my Viltrumite Physiology to 80%. That means I am allowed to fly, and even then, they can use their environment to counter me. They use my own strength against me and kick my ass in the spar.
I think they are learning how to fight me and create scenarios to kill me in case I become a threat to the Emperor. I should be offended, but I understand where they are coming from. They are created that way and cannot break their nature as a Custodian.

|Epic Trait|
Death itself has given you permission to kill anything, and reality shall obey. When facing a target with Immortality, you are capable of nullifying their immortality. Any lethal blow to your land that would otherwise kill them without their immortality will enact absolute death on them, and prevent their resurrection unless you declare that they can live. Even a god, even an avatar, even a spirit, you will strip away their immortality.
I can feel a warm feeling coursing through my body. It lasts for a few seconds, and I smile when it is done. This… this is my primary weapon against the Chaos Gods. My [Authority of Death] will grant the concept of Death to the Chaos Gods, and this trait allows me to kill them.
However, I have a feeling that even with this trait, killing the four cancers will be hard. They are Gods, and they are very old. They gain consciousness at the middle age of humanity, if memory serves me right, but their existence predates humanity.
Even with all the weapons that allow me to kill them, reaching them will be a tough fight.

[Spear of Untraceable Trajectory]
|Legendary Skill|
Everyone Else is a returnee - Your mastery of the spear is to such a degree that you disobey even physics. When you attack with the spear, you can hit multiple locations at once. The greater your mastery, the higher the number of locations. Similar to Tsubame Gaeshi from Fate.
I grunt a little as a massive amount of knowledge appears inside my head. I can feel my body also absorb the knowledge, allowing me to use all the techniques this skill grants me. After a few seconds, the rush is done, and I release a deep breath.
This technique is absurd. It is a mundane technique, if you can call that mundane, because it breaks the laws of physics and enters the realm of magic without using magic. To allow me to use this technique to its full potential, I need to train my body even more.
I can use it at maximum potential when I am entering Balance Breaker mode and take thirty boosts. Yeah, it takes a lot of physical power to perform this technique at its full potential. However, it is devastating.
I need to push my body even more and maybe create a new concoction that will boost my physical strength or increase the reward from all the training I will be doing.
I need the Mechanicus to gather as many chemicals as possible for me to experiment with.
I shake my head and use the last ticket.
[Tinker - Travel]
|Epic Ability|
Allows you to build technological constructs or contraptions related to transportation and travel. Teleportation pods, hypersonic cars, wingsuits, etc., if its goal is to get you from point A to point B, you can probably build it.
Ah. This is a game-changer. This is even more game-changer than my Shrouding Device. I can create a weaker version of Webway Gate using this tinker. Even though it cannot connect one end of the galaxy to another, it can cover a good chunk of the galaxy.
And you know what makes it better? I can use my [Tinker–Energy] ability to let the portal be powered by the Warp as some sort of unlimited battery and use [Tinker–Defense (IV)] to protect it from any Chaos influence.
I can no longer hold my tinkering urge and walk toward my personal computer. It is time to make the massive portal gate. Now… How should I do this?
