Chapter 352 – The Doting Father, Hatake Yusuke

"Submit? Forget it. When you chose this path, you should have known the consequences. And I think, from the very first moment you laid eyes on me, you already realized it," Yusuke said, a cold, sharp smile playing on his lips.

"How... how could you know?" Urashiki's eyes widened in sheer disbelief.

"It seems you really are a fool. If I'm not mistaken, the Ōtsutsuki clan possesses a forbidden ninja tool called the Kāma, don't they?" Yusuke remarked calmly.

Upon hearing those words, Urashiki stared at Yusuke with a look of pure shock, as if a sudden, terrifying realization had just dawned on him.

"It seems you understand now. That's right—your future self once came here. However, at that time, he was killed. To be precise, it happened three years ago," Yusuke said, his gaze fixed on Urashiki.

"Three years ago?" Urashiki understood instantly.

That was the reason he felt such an instinctive, bone-deep fear of this man. The voice that had echoed in his head earlier was actually his future self, warning his current self. And three years ago, the circumstances were the same—two versions of himself existed within a single timeline.

"In that case, you cannot kill me. If you do, the future will be destroyed!" Urashiki blurted out, desperate.

"Do you really think I care about that kind of backlash? Even a piece of trash like you who came from the future didn't care about changing the past. So, what makes you think I'd care about changing the future?" Yusuke replied, his tone dripping with disdain.

Without further delay, Yusuke began to devour Urashiki's Dojutsu. Then, utilizing the lingering remnants of Momoshiki's power, he watched as Urashiki writhed in agony, gradually condensing the intruder's essence into a single Chakra Fruit. Once the process was complete, he meticulously purged all impurities from within it—wiping away every last shred of Urashiki's consciousness.

Yusuke looked at the fruit in his hand and fell silent for a moment. He wasn't quite sure who was best suited to receive this power.

"For Madara?" Yusuke shook his head. Forget it. Madara was already plenty powerful.

Even if he gave it to Madara, it wasn't a guarantee that Madara could withstand the sheer volume of Chakra from a Ten-Tails. And even if Madara did consume it, he still wouldn't be a match for Yusuke anyway.

As for Kakashi and the others, they lacked the Ōtsutsuki lineage, making it difficult for them to absorb such power efficiently.

Tsunade could technically take it, but she wouldn't be able to fully integrate it either. Her physical vessel was still too weak; she hadn't even fully mastered the Ōtsutsuki Asura Chakra within her yet.

"Do you want it?" Yusuke asked, glancing at Kaguya.

Kaguya simply shook her head. She had already surrendered the Ten-Tails to Madara. Even if she swallowed this fruit, it wouldn't compare to the fruit produced by the God Tree itself.

"Take it, Toneri. Give it to your father," Yusuke said, tossing the fruit toward his disciple.

After a bit of thought, Yusuke decided that giving it to Ōtsutsuki Yoshino was the best choice. After all, Yoshino possessed the proper Ōtsutsuki bloodline, and someone of that clan would be far more compatible with the fruit's essence.

"Sensei, this... this isn't quite appropriate, is it?" Toneri stammered.

"What's not appropriate? You know as well as I do that this fruit can help your father's bloodline take the next step forward," Yusuke said.

"But, Sensei, are you sure you don't need it? If given to Naruto and Sasuke, they should also be able to absorb it," Toneri reminded him.

"Good grief, you dimwitted student. Do you honestly think I need something like this? Those two losers I've already defeated won't gain any meaningful boost from it. And even though they are the reincarnations of Indra and Asura, it doesn't mean their bloodlines are pure. Sasuke is decent enough, but Naruto's lineage is still a bit lacking," Yusuke explained.

"Enough, I told you to take it. Where is all this nonsense coming from?" Yusuke grumbled, shooting an annoyed glare at Toneri.

Left with no choice, Toneri could only accept it.

Once everything was settled, Yusuke brought Toneri back to the Moon. There, Toneri recounted the origin of the fruit and the details of the battle that had just transpired.

"Is it true that this can help my bloodline advance?" Yoshino asked. In that moment, he was visibly elated.

Kaguya nodded in confirmation. After receiving her assurance, a strange, awkward smile appeared on Yoshino's usually rigid face. To Yusuke, the expression looked incredibly out of place.

Yusuke gave Yoshino a brief glance before losing interest.

"Kid, now that your business here is finished, come with me and stay at my place for a while. That boy Ryoha has been missing you quite a bit," Yusuke said in a flat tone.

"Understood, Sensei," Toneri replied.

Just thinking about Ryoha gave Toneri a bit of a headache. The boy had the exact same personality as his Sensei, and Toneri often found himself at the short end of the stick when dealing with him.

However, he was very fond of China and Chiba, those two little girls. It was just a shame that Yusuke was such an obsessed, doting father; he clearly wasn't going to let just anyone get close to his precious daughters.

"Alright, I'm heading out," Yusuke said, preparing to depart with Kaguya.

"Yusuke..." Ōtsutsuki Yoshino called out.

"What?" Yusuke glanced back at him.

"Thank you," Yoshino said with genuine sincerity.

"Hmm," Yusuke grunted in response, before leading Kaguya away, vanishing from the Moon in an instant.

"Father, what exactly happened?" Toneri asked, feeling confused. He knew Yusuke well enough to know his father must have done something to earn that cold shoulder.

Toneri's mother then explained the whole situation. After hearing the story, Toneri felt completely helpless. He hadn't expected his Sensei to get that angry just on his behalf.

Yet, he was also deeply moved. He knew that besides his parents, the person who cared most about his well-being was Yusuke, his Sensei.

"It's alright. Father, Sensei isn't the type to hold a grudge forever. After some time passes, I'm sure he'll put it behind him," Toneri said, trying to comfort him.

"It's not that. I just feel that, as a father, I've been truly incompetent," Ōtsutsuki Yoshino said with a sigh of sadness.

"No, Father. I have always carried your teachings with me," Toneri replied.

And so, the father and son shared a heart-to-heart conversation. The misunderstandings of their youth slowly began to dissolve as they spoke.

Meanwhile, Yusuke had brought Kaguya back to Earth.

"Is Toneri alright?" Tsunade asked as they arrived.

"He's fine," Yusuke replied with a faint smile.

Yusuke then shared the intel regarding the Ōtsutsuki clan, while Kaguya filled them in on the details regarding Momoshiki and the others.

"So, that means the Ōtsutsuki clan still has even more powerful entities out there," Tsunade mused.

"Yes. That person is the God of the Ōtsutsuki clan. We don't even know how strong he truly is, because he has never personally intervened. I don't even know what he looks like. However, it's a safe bet that his power is far beyond that Uchiha brat," Kaguya stated.

"If that's the case, we're looking at a major problem," Tsunade said, frowning.

"It's fine. No matter how strong they are, it doesn't matter. I won't lose, regardless," Yusuke said casually.

"Tch, even at a time like this, you can't even show a little bit of tension?" Tsunade huffed, rolling her eyes.

But despite her words, hearing Yusuke's confidence made all her worries vanish instantly.

"Anyway, just relax. Oh, by the way, where are my sweet little daughters?" Yusuke asked, reaching out to pat Tsunade's head.

"Go on, get out of here. Honestly. Every day, all you care about is playing with those two little girls. You don't even bother to train. Don't come crying to me if you get beaten by someone one day," Tsunade said crossly.

"As if. I'm the strongest. A truly powerful person doesn't need to train," Yusuke declared, completely ignoring Tsunade's nagging.

A doting father will always be a doting father. Who could blame him, though? His daughters were just too adorable.
