Serafall Leviathan
Maou Headquarters, Underworld (The Night Before)
The communication circle pulsed with a soft, warm golden light, a stark contrast to the deep violet and crimson hues of my office. Establishing a direct line to Heaven wasn't something done lightly. The wards had to be triple-checked to ensure no stray demonic energy caused a misfire, but as the Maou in charge of Foreign Affairs, I had my ways.
The golden light solidified, projecting the ethereal, stunning image of Gabriel. The strongest female angel and the Chief Messenger of Heaven looked at me with her usual serene, yet slightly cautious, smile.
"Serafall," Gabriel greeted, her voice like a calming melody.
"It is highly unusual for you to contact me directly outside of formal summits. Has something happened?"
I leaned forward, resting my chin on my hands, letting a bright, bubbly smile spread across my face.
"Gaby-chan~! It's been so long! But yes, I wouldn't call on this super-secret line if it wasn't important! ☆"
Gabriel blinked, her halo flickering slightly at the nickname.
"I see. What is the nature of this emergency?"
I let my smile soften into something a bit more genuine, though my mind was racing.
"I need to arrange a highly classified, immediate meeting with Michael-sama. It concerns the unjust excommunication of a holy maiden, the illegal activities of a high-ranking Devil... and the stolen Excalibur fragments."
Gabriel's serene expression shattered. Her golden eyes widened.
"The Excaliburs? Serafall, this is a matter... who provided you with this intelligence? How can you know?"
I giggled, twirling a strand of my hair. "Oh, just a very reliable source. Actually... he's my future husband! ☆"
"...Excuse me?"
Gabriel literally choked on her own breath. The projection wavered as the Seraph stared at me with wide, completely flabbergasted eyes.
"Future... husband?! Serafall, you are a Maou! An engagement of this magnitude would shake the entire world! Who is he?"
He's an absolute monster who makes the Heavenly Dragons look like house pets, I thought to myself.
But as I looked at the projection, my mind wandered. In the Underworld, political marriages were everything. Sirzechs was married—and contrary to public rumor, it wasn't to Grayfia. In our reality, Grayfia was strictly his head maid and loyal servant, nothing more. Ajuka Beelzebub was a brilliant mind, but he was entirely too boring and obsessed with his research.
A/N: Hehe sorry i pulled this shit MUEHEHEGE
But Jay?
Jay was perfect. He was impossibly strong, unapologetically harsh, yet possessing a core so protective and kind that he went out of his way to clear the name of an exiled nun he barely knew. Plus, I wasn't blind. I saw the way he treat Ely-chan. He favored her, treated her with a gentleness he reserved for no one else.
And honestly? I was a hundred percent fine with that. If Elysia was the first wife, I had absolutely zero problems sharing. As long as I got my and sona spot by his side, polygamy was just another Tuesday in the supernatural world.
"He's a secret for now, Gaby-chan!" I chirped, breaking out of my inner monologue.
"But he is the one who will be attending the meeting. He will bring the holy maiden, Asia Argento, and a survivor of the Holy Sword Project. If you want the truth behind the Excaliburs, you need to meet him."
Gabriel composed herself, though she still looked deeply rattled.
"Very well. For the sake of the swords and this exiled sister, I will inform my brother. We will prepare a neutral ground at the Vatican."
"Perfect! I tell him now! ☆"
I cut the connection, leaning back in my chair with a satisfied smirk. Oh, Jay-chan... you're going to give the Angels quite the shock.
POV: 3rd Person
Jay's Floating Castle (The Next Morning)
The morning sun reflected brilliantly off the eternal blossoms of the floating castle. In the grand courtyard, Jay stood with his hands in his pockets, his iconic mask firmly in place. To his left stood Asia Argento, wearing a clean, simple white dress, her hands nervously clutching her skirt.
To his right stood Kiba Yuuto, looking more resolute and grounded than he had in years.
Just a few yards away, Kiba's resurrected friends were marveling at the glowing flora of the castle.
Jay had used his Time King Authority to rapidly age their physical bodies to teenage, ensuring they wouldn't be fragile, helpless children in a dangerous world.
Mentally, they were still catching up, but Kiba had spent the entire previous evening teaching them the basics of living a normal life. For now, they were ordinary humans, safe within the castle walls.
Jay turned his attention to the rest of the inhabitants gathered in the courtyard to see them off.
"Listen up," Jay announced, his voice carrying effortlessly.
"I will be dealing with the Vatican today. While I am gone, your training does not stop."
The Gremory and Sitri peerages collectively stiffened.
"Elysia and Serafall will supervise, but today, your primary instructors are going to be them."
Jay pointed to the two stunning women standing next to Valina.
Ygnisia cracked her knuckles, a dangerously sharp grin spreading across her face. Beside her, the newly liberated White Dragon matched her expression.
"By the way," Jay added casually, looking at the silver-haired dragon. "Calling a gorgeous woman 'Albion' feels weird. So... do you have any other name?"
Abygail blinked, placing a hand on her cheek.
"Hmm... how about abygail? Abygail Gweber"
Jay nodded, then turned his gaze to the Hakuryuukou.
"Valina."
Valina stepped forward, her posture perfect.
"Yes?"
"Your Divine Dividing is no longer a separate tool. It was part of your soul now," Jay explained.
"All of Abygail's capabilities are permanently unlocked. You can use the Juggernaut Drive without sacrificing your lifespan, but do not rely on it. A true warrior does not use their trump card to solve every problem."
Valina's eyes widened slightly at the revelation of a cost-free Juggernaut Drive, but she nodded firmly.
"Understood."
"To help with that," Jay continued, raising his hand. Three glowing orbs of conceptual data materialized and shot into the foreheads of Valina, Kuroka, and Le Fay.
"I've imparted specific magical matrices into your minds,"
Jay explained as the three girls gasped, clutching their heads as the knowledge settled.
"Valina, you now have access to Gravity Collapse and Gijel—Magic Restriction Chains—, thought acceleration. Combine them with your dividing powers to crush your enemies before they can even move."
Valina smirked, flexing her hand as localized gravity warped around her fingers.
"Fascinating."
"Kuroka," Jay looked at the Nekomata.
"I gave you Dimension Slash to amplify your spatial Youjutsu, and Liria, a supreme spirit blessing to constantly regenerate your Senjutsu reserves."
Kuroka's golden eyes gleamed, her twin tails swishing excitedly.
"Nyaa~, you're giving a Stray such dangerous toys? You really are a bad boy, Jay."
"Le Fay," Jay finished, looking at the young witch.
"You possess a brilliant mind for contracts and spells. I gave you Iris, the art of Creative Construction. You can instantly forge golems, fortresses, or weapons out of thin air. Pair it with the Multilayer Dimension barrier."
Le Fay bowed deeply, her face flushed with excitement.
"T-Thank you so much, Jay-san! I will not disappoint you!"
Jay nodded.
"Tomorrow, we will discuss the Chaos Brigade. I think it's about time I had a little chat with Azazel and the rest of your former associates, Valina."
Valina simply crossed her arms and smiled.
"I look forward to it."
"Ygnisia. Abygail," Jay called out.
The two Heavenly Dragons stepped forward.
"dont worry if you kill the them will revive so do what it needed to do " Jay ordered menacingly.
Ygnisia laughed—a booming, maniacal sound that echoed across the courtyard.
"Oh, don't worry, partner! I've been waiting for centuries to stretch my legs!"
Abygail grinned menacingly, her violet eyes glowing with draconic delight.
"It is going to be an absolute pleasure breaking them."
Rias, Sona, and their entire peerages collectively paled, a cold sweat breaking out across their backs.
We're cooked, was the unified thought that echoed through the minds of the Underworld's finest heirs.
Jay ignored their silent despair. He waved a hand, and a portal of swirling cosmic energy opened behind him. "Let's go, Asia. Kiba."
A/N:Just to clarify the power scaling here: Abygail (formerly Albion) is in the exact same condition as Ygnisia. By being liberated by Jay, she is implicitly connected to his limitless Infinity Authority. This means Jay is essentially the host to BOTH Heavenly Dragons. Through this connection, Abygail has been massively upscaled. Just like Ygnisia, Abygail now sits comfortably on the same tier as Ophis and Great Red. (Though fighting both Dragon Gods simultaneously would still be tricky).
POV: Jay
Central Cathedral, Vatican City
The Central Cathedral of the Vatican was a place steeped in centuries of faith, absolute order, and overpowering holy energy. The architecture was immaculate, reaching toward the heavens, bathed in the soft glow of stained glass windows depicting ancient miracles.
At the far end of the grand hall stood the heavy hitters of the holy faction.
Archangel Michael stood at the center, radiating a blinding, comforting aura of absolute goodness. To his right was Gabriel, looking noticeably anxious. Surrounding them were the greatest weapons the Church had to offer.
Vasco Strada, the terrifyingly powerful elderly man who stood as the pinnacle of pure human strength.
Griselda Quarta, the strict and lethal exorcist.
Dulio Gesualdo, holder of Zenith Tempest.
(CMIIW)
And standing a bit further back were two younger, tense Holy Sword wielders:
Xenovia Quarta and Irina Shidou.
They were waiting. The message Mou Leviathan had relayed regarding the Excaliburs and other matters
The air in the center of the cathedral suddenly shifted.
A portal opened. It was dramatic in its sheer, silent perfection.
I stepped out of the void, my black and crimson coat settling around my legs. The mask on my face reflected the holy light of the cathedral, giving away nothing.
To my left, Asia stepped out, her hands clasped together in prayer, looking at the Archangels with a mixture of awe and fear.
To my right, Kiba stepped forward, his eyes immediately locking onto the Holy Sword wielders across the room, his posture radiating the calm, deadly intent of a true survivor.
I stopped in the center of the holy hall, ignoring the flinching of the exorcists and the tightening of Vasco Strada's fists. I looked directly at the leader of Heaven.
"Im sorry for the wait," I said, my voice echoing smoothly across the marble floors.
"Let's talk about the corruption in your house, and the trash hiding in human world."
Archangel Michael stepped forward, his twelve golden wings shifting. Gabriel stood beside him, her serene face masking a deep curiosity.
For a fraction of a second, as my eyes met Michael's, and then Gabriel's, a strange, inexplicable resonance hummed through the cathedral. It wasn't magic. It wasn't a hostile clash of auras. It was a profound, soul-deep warmth. It felt incredibly familiar—like locking eyes with a sibling you hadn't seen in eons.
Across the hall, Michael and Gabriel both visibly paused, their golden eyes widening a fraction as they stared at me. They clearly felt it too. But the immediate matter took precedence.
"You are the one Serafall Leviathan spoke of," Michael said, his voice rich and calming.
"The one who protects this exiled sister. We are willing to listen."
I reached into my coat and pulled out the memory crystal, tossing it lightly. It floated across the room, stopping gently in front of Michael.
"This is the unedited truth regarding Asia Argento," I stated calmly.
"She didn't heal a Devil out of malice or treason. Diodora Astaroth deliberately injured himself and manipulated the situation. He knew healing him would result in her excommunication. He wanted her vulnerable so he could forcefully reincarnate her into his peerage as a twisted trophy."
Gabriel covered her mouth, her eyes shining with sorrow. Michael closed his eyes, placing a hand over the crystal, instantly reading the truth within the magical signature.
"I don't understand your logic," I continued, my tone genuinely confused rather than accusing.
"You guys are secretly moving toward a peace treaty. So why is a nun healing a Devil considered an act of heresy? Isn't peace and compassion exactly what Father would have wanted?"
The cathedral went dead silent.
Vasco Strada's eyes narrowed. Dulio Gesualdo, the strongest human exorcist, shifted his stance. But it was the younger exorcists who broke.
"W-What are you talking about?"
Irina Shidou stammered, stepping forward, her face pale.
"How dare you speak as if you know the Lord's will!" Xenovia Quarta gripped the hilt of her wrapped broadsword, her voice shaking with righteous fury.
I looked at the humans, my voice remaining perfectly even.
"I speak of it because I know the truth about the Great War. I know about Father's 'death.'"
The reaction was instantaneous and explosive.
"Death?!" Irina shrieked, dropping to her knees, her hands clutching her head.
"No! That's a lie! The Lord is alive! He is absolute!"
Xenovia drew her blade an inch, tears of absolute panic and rage welling in her eyes.
"Blasphemy! Michael-sama, order us to strike down this heretic! God cannot die!"
Even Griselda and Vasco looked profoundly shaken, their unwavering faith violently colliding with the sheer, unshakeable certainty in my voice. They looked desperately at Michael, waiting for him to deny it.
Michael didn't speak. He looked down, his silence confirming the greatest, most devastating secret of the Church.
Irina began to sob hysterically. Xenovia dropped her sword, the heavy metal clattering loudly against the marble as her world collapsed.
I looked directly at Michael.
"It is fundamentally impossible for the True Father—the absolute source of existence—to actually die. The entity that perished in the Great War was merely a projection. Avatar created specifically to oversee this singular world."
Michael's head snapped up, his golden eyes wide with shock. Gabriel gasped, clutching her hands to her chest.
"He did not abandon you," I continued softly, ensuring my words reached the weeping exorcists as well.
"He calculated the struggles of this world. He left behind because He believes in you, Michael. He believes in you to guide Heaven and humanity in His stead. And yeah you know what Father's did if his mission is complete right? Sigh... it's mean it' time to him to leave because it's the right thing to do, many world doesn't even have a chance to interact directly you know in many world He would just let it be and it already go to the direction He wanted. "
A/N: yes i have no believe in god's dead in this universe so yeah
Michael's breath hitched. For centuries, he had carried the crushing, isolating burden of running Heaven alone, believing his Creator had left. Hearing that it was merely an avatar, and that the True God had entrusted him with this duty, lifted a weight so immense it brought tears to the Archangel's eyes.
"I... I see," Michael whispered, his voice thick with emotion. He turned his gaze to Asia.
"Asia Argento. The Church failed you. We allowed dogma to blind us to true grace. On behalf of Heaven, I deeply apologize. Your excommunication is hereby completely annulled."
Asia burst into tears, covering her face as she sobbed with pure relief.
"T-Thank you, Michael-sama..." Asia cried softly.
"But... if it is allowed, I wish to stay by Jay-san's side."
Michael smiled warmly. "Of course, child. The light of Heaven will always be with you."
I placed a gentle hand on Asia's shoulder. Then, I took a step back.
"Well i thought you will go to heaven.... like i don't mind but you know it just... never mind:
Shit i thought she will go to the chuch again but this well.. jest let it be maybe?
"Ok then, that settles the first issue. Now for the second. Kiba."
Kiba Yuuto stepped forward.
"My name is Kiba Yuuto. I am a survivor of Valper Galilei's Holy Sword Project experiments."
Vasco Strada's expression instantly morphed into one of profound grief.
"Valper slaughtered my friends when they were deemed 'failures',"
Kiba explained calmly.
"I no longer seek blind revenge... but I need to ask. Why are men like Valper and Freed Sellzen still roaming free? Why hasn't the Church officially hunted them down?"
Vasco Strada bowed his head deeply. "Young man... we carry the shame of that failure every day. Valper was excommunicated, but he holds deep, hidden connections with rogue factions. Tracking him down without inciting a massive civil war within the fractured branches of the Church has proven exceedingly difficult."
"It isn't an excuse," I interjected smoothly, looking at Michael.
"I am entirely neutral. But this mess is starting to affect the people under my care. Valper Galilei is currently working under Kokabiel. It's really annoying you know?"
The angels and exorcists tensed immediately.
"Kokabiel hates the idea of the peace treaty. He plans to use the stolen Excalibur fragments in Kuoh Town to draw out Sirzechs Lucifer and yourselves. He wants to force a conflict."
"Michael-sama, we must deploy the exorcists immediately!" Dulio spoke up, his expression serious.
"Calm down dude," I said.
"I thinking to let the juniors handle it."
Michael furrowed his brow.
"Younger genertaion you mean Gremory young lady and sitri young lady peerages? Against a Cadre of the Grigori?"
"A week ago? Yes, it would be a total massacre," I agreed.
"Today? Not quite. I've been training them. Valina Lucifer will also be joining them. I want Xenovia and Irina to go to Kuoh to retrieve the swords, but let them work alongside the young Devils. Let work together. If the leaders step in, it's just you know right masscarace too. If the children fight together to protect their town, it becomes a bond."
Gabriel looked at me, understanding dawning in her eyes.
"You want to use Kokabiel's attack as a foundation for the peace treaty."
"Exactly," I nodded.
"I will be watching, of course. I won't let them die. Though, honestly? With how much I've pushed them lately, I highly doubt Kokabiel is going to survive facing all of them at once maybe just maybe he will dead."
A/N: so yeah i think kokabiel will fucked up badly really badly... like damn i give rias gio graze and other magic to rias dont thunk he'd survive them
Michael stared at me for a long time before nodding deeply.
"Very well. Heaven will not officially intervene. We will entrust this to the younger generation."
I nodded, satisfied. I turned to leave, but then I stopped. The strange resonance from earlier was still humming in the back of my mind. It was too prominent to ignore.
I looked back at Michael and Gabriel.
"There is one more thing," I said, my voice dropping to a more serious register.
"When I arrived... I felt it. And looking at you two, I know you felt it too."
Gabriel exchanged a hesitant glance with her brother.
"A resonance," she whispered.
"It felt... familial. Like a sibling."
"Exactly," I said.
"It's bothering me. The connection is rooted in something foundational. Take me to the Heaven System. The core."
Michael hesitated. The Heaven System was the most heavily guarded secret in existence, located in the highest, most isolated sanctum of the divine realm. But after what I had just revealed about Father, and the absolute lack of hostility in my presence, he relented.
"Follow me," Michael said.
Through a sequence of divine transportation arrays, Michael and Gabriel guided me far above the Vatican, straight into the absolute center of Heaven itself. We passed through layers of seraphic wards until we arrived at an endlessly expansive, ethereal chamber.
In the center floated a colossal, intricate sphere of interlocking golden rings and holy scriptures. The Heaven System. It ground and hummed, radiating the purest holy energy in existence, though I could clearly hear it straining under the weight of holding the world together without its true creator.
"This is it," Michael said softly. "The system Father left behind."
I stepped forward, my eyes mapping the conceptual framework of the machinery. The resonance I felt earlier was screaming at me now. It was pulling me forward.
What is this feeling? Idk this might be bad premonition?
I didn't draw my power. I just walked closer, raising my hand.
"Let me see," I murmured.
I reached out, letting my fingertips gently graze the outer ring of the colossal system.
The moment my skin made contact with the divine core—
"AWW C'MON!!!"
here we go again!
*FWOOSH!*
An overwhelming, blindingly pure pillar of golden light erupted from the system, instantly swallowing me whole.
"What is happening?!" Gabriel cried out, her wings flaring as the entire realm of Heaven violently trembled under the sudden, impossible surge of absolute power.
The light expanded, consuming everything.
