"Choda, get up".
The voice of Haven echoes in chodas ears, his eyes slowly open. His hair still puffed up from earlier. "Did we just get shit on in a four on one?".
Haven quietly nods his head.
Choda looks around him, Benji and Kaitlyn having a conversation with a darkskinned man appearing around his fourtys.
"Who's that?".
Haven looks over.
"Thats Crimson mist, but dont be a fan boy like the nerd you are".
"WHAT? THAT'S THE CRIMSON MIST FROM THE WAR IN TWENTY TWENTY-FOUR AGAINST NURIDRISA!".
Haven covers Chodas mouth.
"Oh, I see you're awake. Let me talk to you kid".
The man says to choda.
Choda then got up and walked over to him as the man sent Kaitlyn and Benji back over to Haven.
He puts his hand on Chodas shoulder.
"Your mom told me to come watch the tournament, you guys did good out there. Obviously you're all just rookies but I cant say I wasn't impressed, im sure you're aware that I'm involved in the quad business. I have to be honest though, I dont plan on offering you a contract but I am interested in you and I believe you have potential. Therefore if you're interested in taking that next step to becoming a hero keep training and come to this tournament im holding in six months, I do have to tell you its solo only though. But thats all I want you to think about it and have your mom reach out to me to talk later okay?".
"Yes sir, thanks for keeping an eye on me. But question?".
"What's the question choda?".
"Do I have to wait six months? I mean i just planned on starting quad missions within the next month you know? I just want to be able to start as soon as I possibly can not to sound ungrateful".
Crimson Mist chuckled.
"Your time is coming kid, be patient".
Choda walked back to the group and they left the stadium. They spent the walk to Kaitlyns house talking about the fight against Ryenen and the retired superhero showing interest.
The four of them got to Kaitlyns house and went to the backyard to rest in the freshly cut grass.
"You know, I heard people say black dont Crack but I definitely saw some wrinkles".
Benji says as he drinks out of a lukewarm juice box.
Kaitlyn snacks on a bag of beef jerky, slapping Benji with a piece. "He looked his age for the most part, fighting in wars will do that to you".
Haven chips in.
"He offered me a contract".
Everyone stares at him.
"Whatchu mean?".
Choda asks.
"He offered me a contract to join a new quad because they were looking for a fourth member. He was gonna pay me twelve point five million kunning a month for the role".
(12.5 million kunning = 5,000 USD)
"Hey thats not bad actually, you automatically would make more than fast food workers". Kaitlyn says rubbing her hands together.
"I think you should accept it thats some good money, and plus you're what nineteen? Get some money old fart".
Benji says laughing aloud.
"I turned it down. I cant join a quad of randoms if I already got used to this quad. So we just have to train harder and improve so we can all get money. I've been just fine living broke so far so waiting half a year won't be any different".
Choda gets up.
"Well if that's how its gonna be, we need to get started early".
"What does that mean?".
Haven asks.
"I think we should all travel to south imbatha and protect some villages for practice".
(South imbatha: a region of the country imbatha).
Benji stands up and looks at choda.
"Are you fucking insane? Everyone knows how hard it is do get over there and even if you do you're dead! South imbatha is one of the most dangerous places on this planet, even attempting to go there would be crazy as shit... I'm down".
"Okay hold up, I would be agreeing but how are we supposed to get there? I have no doubt we can hold our own against any bandit or terrorist there may be but the border is heavily guarded...".
Kaitlyn asks choda.
"I mean im down I guess Kaitlyn has a point though, we need a way over there. I've seen videos of what goes on and its just weak beating up on the weaker so dangerous would be an overstatement".
Haven tells choda.
"Well we live not too far from the border is have connections because of my mom so I can get us a plane to south imbatha easy. Just give me 2 weeks to get it scheduled and we'll be gone, and me and Benji can use this as a vacation from school too".
"Ohhhh I see, yea I think i need a vacation lets get it set up lil black".
Benji says jokingly.
"Just like that? Alright I guess we're all going to south imbatha in two weeks. I'll bring water and food and honestly I can bring weapons too if you guys want any".
Kaitlyn says.
The three look at her silently, before shaking their heads no.
"Okay fine then only I'll use weapons then".
The day passed.
Next morning, Choda sits in his gaming chair texting his freind "super_nerdy_turdy55" online again.
"Yo".
"What do you want choda...".
"Can you hook me up with a plane ride".
"Where???".

"Thanks its going to be two weeks from today pick me up at my house".
"Alright see you then".
