Chapter 127 — Fate Spoken Before Death
Sofia looked at Solaris quietly, his red eyes reflecting a distant light.
"Solaris," he said casually, "do you remember the Naruto anime we used to watch when we were young?"
Solaris frowned. "Of course I remember it. But what does that have to do with you peeking at this world's fate?"
Then his tone hardened.
"And what were you even thinking?" Solaris snapped. "Looking into the fate of a world like that—don't you know it can get your soul destroyed by the Creator?"
Sofia laughed softly, completely unconcerned.
"You think too highly of the Creator," he said lightly. "In the Soulrealm, your status are already higher than theirs."
Solaris froze. "What?"
"And the same goes for me," Sofia continued. "I'm an important soul. Extremely important. They won't hurt me—it's not a problem."
He paused, then tilted his head.
"What was I saying again? Oh yeah. The world's fate."
He looked straight at Solaris.
"That anime we watched—Naruto? This world becomes that world in the future."
Solaris' eyes widened.
"…So this is the Naruto world?"
Then something else clicked.
"Wait," he said slowly. "You said the Creator has lower status than us. How do you know that?"
He stared at Sofia sharply.
"…Did you know me before?"
Sofia shook his head. "No."
Solaris blinked.
"I just remembered," Sofia continued calmly. "All information about living souls, dead souls, status, authority, systems—most of it, at least."
He shrugged. "I told you, I'm an important soul. So I know most things."
Solaris fell silent, uneasy.
Then Sofia spoke again, his voice turning serious.
"I called you here because I want to make my gravestone here—after I die fighting the Demon Lord."
Solaris' head snapped up. "Die?"
"I'll seal the Demon Realm," Sofia continued as if it were obvious, "and completely separate it from the Human Realm."
He reached out, and a knife appeared in his hand—elegant, ancient, its blade shimmering faintly.
He handed it to Solaris.
"Use this knife to carve my name."
Solaris stared at the blade in shock. "Why are you going to die fighting the Demon Lord?"
He clenched his fist.
"You can kill the Demon Lord without any effort at all."
Sofia smiled faintly. "You'll understand after you reincarnate many times."
Solaris was silent for a long moment.
"…Alright," he finally said.
He took the knife from Sofia's hand.
"But why here?" Solaris asked. "Why do you want your grave in this place? And why do you want me to write it?"
Sofia turned and gestured toward the mountain.
"This is the back mountain near the Hidden Leaf Village," he said. "You can see the barrier, right?"
Solaris nodded slowly. "Yes. the one i enter it."
"Exactly," Sofia said. "In the future, when you reincarnate into this world, you'll think this is only your second life—the one after the Morda world."
Solaris stiffened.
"The Creator will seal your memories of the times you were a hero," Sofia continued. "After you finish all the worlds where you must reincarnate as a hero."
He looked directly into Solaris' eyes.
"When you come here, you'll remember this conversation. And that memory will crack the seal on your mind."
Solaris' voice dropped. "How do you know what happens after you finish all the worlds… after killing the Demon Lord?"
Sofia exhaled.
"This is my second time being a hero," he said quietly.
Solaris' eyes widened.
"The first time," Sofia continued, "I went by the name May."
He frowned slightly.
"But that wasn't my true name. In the reincarnation loop. That is my second. I die and restarted the loop many times, so I become hero to escape from the loop. And that world had different language system name are given ancient language of that world normal names are given using three words. only the first word—of my name gets used. Languages change, words change."
He shook his head.
"The Creators destroyed my real name and reduced it to 'May.'"
Then he waved his hand dismissively.
"Anyways, when you come here, you'll remember this conversation."
He paused, then added firmly,
"But you won't remember everything. Only this."
Solaris frowned. "Then how will I know who you are?"
Sofia smiled.
"Remember this."
His red eyes burned brighter.
"My name is Merin Blaze."
Solaris' breath caught.
"Fifth Prince of the Blaze Clan," Sofia continued.
"And Second Prince of the Liminal Expanse."
He turned away slightly.
"I will come to this world again," he said calmly. "And I will meet you."
Then, softly—
"So just wait."
