"Ah, fuck, I haven't gone to school for far too long now..."
Blake stared at the ceiling for a few seconds, sighing as the alarm continued ringing.
His hand slowly emerged from beneath the blanket, searching around blindly before finally smacking the phone.
Unfortunately the silence didn't solve the actual problem.
He needed to go back to school.
With a groan, Blake sat up and rubbed his eyes.
After a week (and a few days) of not going, he couldn't ignore it anymore.
The previous week, he wasn't even in the same city, so it's not like he had choice. Also, yesterday, he had skipped again to think, prepare and connect a few dots.
But there was a limit to everything, even skipping school.
At this point, his absences had already reached ridiculous numbers.
More than twenty days, he'd been absent, way more than was considered acceptable.
The teachers were probably already preparing speeches.
The administration was probably preparing emails.
