Chapter 5 - Ep. 5. The whisper of night.

Theo's eyes fluttered open, his breath ragged as he blinked away the haze of desire that had clouded his mind. He found himself staring into Abyzou's smoldering gaze, the demon king's hand still warm on his waist, their bodies impossibly close. A flicker of fear sparked in Theo's chest — what had just happened?...

Panic rose in his throat. He tried to push Abyzou away, but his limbs felt heavy, trembling with the echoes of everything he'd just felt.

Theo: "No… stop," he whispered, though the words came out broken, his voice barely a breath.

Abyzou didn't move, his expression tender but unyielding.

Abyzou: "You cannot deny this, Theo, It is written in every breath you take, every beat of your heart." he murmured, his thumb brushing softly against Theo's lips. "

Theo's heart pounded in his chest like a trapped bird. He pressed his hands against Abyzou's shoulders, trying to shove him back, but his strength faltered. The library seemed to close in around him, the ancient tomes and flickering candles a silent witness to the impossible intimacy.

Theo: "I… I don't want this,"

Theo managed, though the words tasted like a lie even to his own ears. His voice was tight, the fear and confusion mingling with a heat he didn't understand. But Abyzou only looked at him with that same sad, patient intensity.

Abyzou: "You have always wanted this," he said softly. "You have always been mine."

Theo's mind whirled, every muscle in his body screaming to run, but his legs wouldn't obey. The shadows seemed to pulse around them, the weight of the centuries pressing down on his shoulders. Then, as if his body couldn't bear the strain, his vision blurred and the world tilted — the last thing he saw was Abyzou's calm, unearthly face as darkness swallowed him whole.

He woke to a bright shaft of morning light cutting through the dusty air. A low murmur of voices echoed in his ears. Blinking, Theo realized he was lying on the cold, hard floor of the library, his head pounding.

A pair of hands gently shook his shoulder. "Hey, kid! Are you all right?" The voice belonged to a security guard, concern etched into his face.

Theo's mouth was dry as he tried to sit up, every muscle aching.

Theo: "I… I think so," *he mumbled,*

though his mind felt fractured, the memory of the night before like a fever dream. The guard helped him to his feet, glancing around with a frown.

"What happened? You're not supposed to be in here overnight," the guard said, but Theo only shook his head, unable to form the words. He couldn't explain it — couldn't even begin to understand it himself.

Theo : I just fall in sleep then I found out the door was locked so I'm not able to go out. I'm so sorry for trouble, I'm going now..

He staggered out of the library, the morning air biting cold against his skin. Each step felt unreal, his mind still replaying the ghostly touch of Abyzou's lips, the soft bite that had jolted him awake.

Theo : What's that, maybe it's was all a dream but it's flat so real..* confused*
