They reached the hospital after sometime,
Quickly, with the help of doctors and nurses the injured men was taken into the operation theatre, for a quick treatment.
Ryne was sitting outside of the operation theatre, the men who drove them here was somewhere she didn't know,
she saw doctor and nurses coming out and going in.
She didn't asked, didn't panick, she just sat there calmly, as if this was something normal for her.
"Hey!"
She heard a voice, looking up, she found the men standing there near her with two cups of coffee in his both hands. He sat near her on the chair. Giving her the one cup of coffee, and drinking from another one himself. He heard her speaking.
"I thought you went." Her eyes were on ground, he looked at her and spoke.
"Why would I leave such a beautiful girl alone in the middle of the night."
She chuckled, he smiled as well, as he asked
"By the way, how come you were in such a situation in the middle of the night?..... Don't tell me I helped a criminal." She glared at him, he actually made a gesture as if he was scared " wow, you looking scarily beautiful" she rolled her eyes, she spoke
"I was going home from my work, Just thought to stay at the bridge for clean air, but, I saw two mens stabbing the one we just saved, I jumped from the bridge into the river, to save him and luckily I was able to, soon you found us and the rest you know."
She looked at him, he was stunned, his mouth was wide open, soon gaining his composure he said
"😲 Wow you are damn courageous girl.You jumped into the river to save a stranger, that's so brave of you"
She gave him a look "Close your mouth or else a fly might enter in." She said rolling her eyes, "and besides I'm a good swimmer, so it wasn't much."
"Good good" He said pating her head suddenly her eyes widen, she stood up abruptly from the chair
"Oh shittt!! No no no" she shout pulling her hair, while the man looked at her weirdly, He stand up as well.
"What happened? Don't tell me I have to admit you in the hospital as well.... I don't have that much of money with me!"
"Shut up will you!"
"Yahh you are so scary, I got it but why are you reminding me again and again" he said shielding himself as him she might attack him anytime.
"I left my belongings at the bench on the bridge, my bag had files related to work, if I lost them I'm sure my boss will kick me out of the office!!!
She panicked, he sighed
"Gosh I thought I might really have to admit you as well, I was so worried about my money, thank God."
"Now what I do?" She sat on the chair, holding her head with both of her hands.
"Hey don't cry brave girl, let's go to the bridge and get your things." She immediately looked at him,
Her eyes hopeful, a smile suddenly appeared onto her lips, she stood up almost immediately.
"Yes yes let's go!" She said
"You are weird". he eyed her and both of them left the hospital before paying the bill for the injured man
And bickering in the way on the issue of payment.
They sat into the car and he drove off
"By the way, what is your name brave girl?"
She glanced at him before answering him
"Ryne. And yours?"
She asked and after a short pause he answered
"Kai" she nodded
"And what you do?" He asked she spoke
"Do you want to know everything about me?"
"Kind off" he shrugged.
"I work at Aurora advertising agency"
"Aurora advertising? That's a prestigious advertising agency in the city"
"Great to know that you know" he nodded
Just as they soon reached at the bridge and the car halt infront of the bance where Ryne's belongings were still there she hurriedly stepped out of the car
And sighed in relief finding all the things safe she again sat into it and they drive off
"Shall we go to hospital again, what do you say?"
She asked him," I guess you should go home you probably have work to do tomorrow, and I'll go to the hospital and once I finished the rest of the formalities I as well will leave."
"Then what about the man?" She asked he answered
"We already had paid the bill, and I as well asked the staff to take care of him until he gain his consciousness, we don't know him, so I guess this much shall be more then enough, and who knows what type of work he does, that he got stabbed in the middle of the night."
"You are right but I'm still worried."
"If you are that worried I will stay until he wakes up and once I find him fine I'll leave, what about it?"
" You don't look but you quite considerate" she said looked at him and he rolled his eyes,
"Ofcourse I am, it's just you don't have eyes. Now cani have your address mam?"
"Sure sure but I don't have to pay do I?"
"I guess yes"
" Hey that's not fair at all, I was the one who paid the bill" she whined
"Ha! And I also made half of contribution in it so don't fake tears ok" she pouted he looked at her and chuckled
"Ok fine, but you will have to treat me next time we meet, cause I'm the one who is going to stay beside the man whole night"
"Wha-"
"Don't you dare to deny or I'll through you into the river"
"Fine fine" she rolled her eyes
Ryne's inner voice (we might not even meet again hehe😏)
"Don't forget to give me your number so that I can tell you when I'm free to recieve a treat"
She immediately looked at him her mouth wide open
"Ha! You are a damn cunning creature" she scoffed but then both of them exchanged their numbers.
Soon as Ryne told him her address he drove her to her home.
"The next day at hospital"
