Chapter 5 - konoha scheming and tsuande

The news struck Konoha like a thunderclap. The Five Kage—leaders of the most powerful ninja villages—had fallen in battle. But no one knew who had defeated them.

In the shadowy war room deep inside the Hokage's castle, Danzo leaned over a scroll, eyes sharp and calculating. Opposite him, Hiruzen Sarutobi rubbed his temple, troubled.

"What power did they use to fell so many Kage?" Danzo asked, voice low and suspicious.

Hiruzen looked up, eyes tired but resolute. "If we must speculate, only Uzumaki sealing techniques possess such might. But how could they wield it so fiercely?"

Danzo cracked a thin smile. "At least the Jinchuuriki were protected before the war. That was wise." He paused, considering. "Tsunade was sent, wasn't she? Perhaps she can calm the Uzumaki and maintain our alliance."

Hiruzen nodded slowly. "Let us hope so. We cannot afford to lose such an important bond."

Meanwhile, on Uzumaki Island, the atmosphere was heavy with distrust and determination. The clan elders moved quickly to seal the island, weaving intricate barriers humming with spiritual power. These seals gleamed red and white, forming impenetrable walls that even the mightiest shinobi could not cross.

Inside the borders, some clan members plotted to send secret messages beyond the barriers, desperate to preserve their secrets and survive the storm outside. But Manda watched closely. The great serpent had summoned countless poisonous snakes—hidden within their monstrous bellies were even smaller serpents, weapons of death lying in wait for any who dared flee or betray.

Rumors swirled of traitors swallowed whole by serpents, never to see the light again.

At the newly locked gates, Konoha's delegation waited, led by Tsunade herself. Her chest was proud, her eyes burning with the fire of her heritage.

"I am the daughter of Uzumaki Mito," Tsunade declared. "I demand entry and counsel with the elders of our clan."

The seals glowed brighter but remained firm. From within came the cold reply of the clan elders.

"Tsunade," an elder said, voice dripping with disdain, "your blood may trace to Uzumaki Mito, but you are a Senju now. That name—you do not carry it anymore."

Tsunade gasped, caught off guard by the blunt rejection.

The elder's voice sharpened. "Our alliance with Konoha is broken. Your village turned away as we bled. From this day forward, Uzumaki Mito and her descendants are not part of our family."

Whispers of curses filled the air.

"If you believe you are Uzumaki," another elder sneered, "then you will no longer use our sealing secrets. Neither you nor Konoha shall wield the power that belongs to us."

Tsunade's face paled, lips trembling. "You can't do this."

"We have," they said as the seals shimmered, stronger and more resolute than ever.

With heavy hearts, the Konoha team withdrew.

Far from the gates, shadows stirred atop a ridge. A figure watched silently as the Konoha party retreated.

Uchiha Indra stood cloaked in darkness, his eyes smoldering with piercing red light—Mangekyō Sharingan glowing deep within.

His voice was cold yet commanding. "They will kneel or they will break."

Behind him, the renewed Uzumaki clan bowed, united and awaiting their unseen leader's command.
