Chapter 13 - Chapter 12

Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening- wherever you are in the world!

Welcome to Chapter 12

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Ding-dong. Ding-dong. Ding-dong.

The apartment bell rang relentlessly, each chime sharper than the last, dragging Win out of his uneasy sleep. His eyes fluttered open to the dim glow of the TV still playing, casting flickers of light across the room.

He glanced to his side.

Nani was fast asleep, face serene, untouched by the noise. His breath was steady. His body relaxed. Win almost envied the way he could sleep through chaos.

Win checked the time. 11:17 PM.

His brows furrowed. No one was supposed to visit this late, not without prior clearance. This building had tight security. Visitors needed confirmation from the residents before they were let through.

He glanced at his phone.

No missed calls. No messages. No alerts.

It must be security or a neighbor, Win thought, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Mildly annoyed, he pushed himself off the couch and shuffled toward the door.

He didn't bother checking the peephole.

He should have.

Because when he pulled the door open, the sight before him made his breath hitch.

"...Dew?" he muttered in disbelief.

There he was, standing barefoot in the corridor, wearing a half-buttoned pajama shirt and no slippers-looking like he'd just sprinted out of bed. His hair was messy. His face was flushed. His eyes were wild.

"Phi," Dew said quickly, trying to peer inside the apartment behind Win.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Win asked, stepping in his way. "How did you even find this place?"

Dew didn't answer.

"You don't know anyone here. You're not even on the guest list- how the hell did you get past security?"

Win's voice rose with every word until the realization hit him like a punch.

He stared at Dew, his tone lower now. Accusing. Cold.

"You have an apartment here... don't you?"

"Yes," Dew admitted, still craning his neck to look past Win. "I moved in a few weeks ago."

"You rented this place just because I did."

No answer.

Win stepped back, repulsed. "You're insane."

Dew's gaze sharpened. "Why are you with Nani, Phi?"

"You don't get to ask that," Win snapped. "How the fuck do you even know he's here? Were you following me?"

"I'm not here for you," Dew said, brushing past him and walking straight into the apartment.

"Hey!" Win barked, grabbing his arm, but Dew shook him off.

"Sky is looking for him," Dew said coldly, pointing at Nani's sleeping form. "Wake him up. He needs to go home."

"You really don't know your place, do you?" Win hissed. "What right do you think you have to barge in here and give orders?"

"I have every right," Dew shot back, finally turning to face him.

"As what?" Win asked, folding his arms, voice sharp with disbelief.

Dew stared at him.

"As your boyfriend."

Win stared at Dew for a second, then let out a bitter laugh. "You should consider dropping out of school and becoming a comedian you'd go far."

"We broke up, Dew," he added, his voice turning hard. "Wake up from your delusion, it's been over a year now."

"Did we?" Dew asked, stepping towards Win. "You broke up with me, but I never broke up with you. So we're still together until I say it's over."

Win instinctively stepped back, heart pounding, until his back hit the wall. Dew followed, close too close.

The cheerful, golden-boy face Dew always wore was gone. In its place was something twisted. Obsessive. Dangerous.

"You're mine, Phi," Dew whispered. "I let you do whatever you wanted this past year. I let you run. But it's time you remembered who you belong to."

His breath was hot against Win's cheek. His eyes gleamed with something that made Win's skin crawl.

Win tried to speak, but no sound came out.

"Wake him up," Dew said, glaring toward Nani. "Tell him to leave. Now."

"No. You get out," Win said, finally finding his voice. "Or I swear I'll call security."

He held up his phone as a warning.

Dew snatched it from his hand and smashed it to the ground. The screen cracked on impact.

"You want him here, right?" Dew said darkly. "Then let him watch. Let him see what you really sound like when I'm inside you."

Win's eyes widened. "Dew what the fuck"

But Dew didn't wait.

He shoved Win against the wall and crashed his mouth over his, biting, forcing, and grabbing. Win's head slammed against the wall as he tried to push him off.

"Nani, I know you're awake," Dew said between gritted teeth. "Stop pretending and watch how your precious Phi' Win breaks when I fuck him."

Win winced, struggling. "Dew stop! You're hurting me! I can't breathe"

His words came out strangled. Dew's hand was around his throat.

---

On the couch, Nani's eyes flew open.

He had been awake. He had heard it all. But now, seeing Dew's hand wrapped around Win's throat, seeing the way Win's body trembled, he knew this wasn't just a lovers' spat.

This was becoming dangerous.

"Let him go!" Nani shouted, bolting up. "Now, Dew!"

Dew froze.

Nani stood, holding a phone in his hand. "You so much as touch him again and I swear I'll call security. It's one button away."

There was a long pause. Dew's chest rose and fell like a beast trying to hold itself back.

Then slowly, reluctantly, he let go of Win.

Win collapsed to his knees, coughing, chest heaving.

Dew turned to Nani, rage in his eyes. "Go back to your fucking man and leave mine alone."

Then he looked back at Win.

"As for you, Phi..." he said, voice low and venomous. "I'm done pretending. You made me taste what it's like to be inside you, and now you want to take it back?"

He smiled. It was cruel.

"Keep dreaming. You're mine. Only mine. And if you won't come back willingly..."

He leaned in, lips near Win's ear.

"You will come back to me by force, and I'll make sure you never leave again."

With that, he stormed out, slamming the door behind him.

---

The silence left behind was deafening.

Win still hadn't stood up. His breaths were short. Shaky. His hands trembled.

Nani stared at the door, heart racing.

He had seen Sky angry. He had seen Sky controlling. But this?

This was different.

Dew had a smile that lit up rooms. He was sunshine personified.

But now... Nani saw it.

He saw the darkness behind that smile.

And he felt scared for Win.
