She gestured toward herself. "You've already said that my curse has begun disappearing."
Mira frowned. "Yes..."
"So what explanation do you think would satisfy your curiosity?"
The younger witch opened her mouth then closed it again.
Aurelia continued before she could recover. "Perhaps I truly am blessed. Perhaps the gods looked upon me with compassion, for the years I suffered people's malice. Or perhaps..." She smiled a little wider. "...they simply disliked what had been done to me."
Mira frowned. "That's Impossible. The gods don't descend just for mortals. The haven't for many centuries since the gods blessed the five bloodlines of the five realms."
Aurelia answered lightly. "But the world has a curious habit of surprising those who believe they know everything. And...Well it seems am a special mortal then." Aurelia said with that smile still on her pretty face.
"For the gods to care enough to descend in a stormy might and lay his healing hands upon me."
