Chapter 301 - Chapter 301: This Will Be a World-Shocking Event!

"This photo should suffice," Meiser's clone remarked while examining the image.

In the photo, Meiser stood on the streets of Mary Geoise, his face and the "3D(X)2Y" marking on his arm clearly visible through the firelight. Behind him, numerous slaves were desperately fleeing into the distance. The surrounding buildings lay in ruins, evidently destroyed by shells seized and launched by the slaves.

"Hmm, this one seems fine," Meiser mused, stroking his chin.

After reviewing the other photos and confirming they were satisfactory, he placed the Photo Transponder Snail on the table. He then took out pen and paper to write a brief message. Scanning his words, Meiser nodded in approval. "This should do it."

With these materials, that fellow Morgans ought to be satisfied. Carrying the photos and paper, Meiser approached a nearby Fax Transponder Snail. After some adjustments, the snail opened its eyes.

"Whirr~"

The activated Fax Transponder Snail focused on the photos before it, using its ability to record the contents of several images. It then transmitted the data via bio-electrical waves.

Once finished, Meiser rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Now it's up to that Morgans guy."

He hoped Morgans would publish the newspaper before the battle on his end concluded, making it impossible for the World Government to intercept the edition. This way... his companions would receive his message!

A smile spread across Meiser's face at the thought. His gaze then fell on the items laid out on the table. "With the intel for Morgans handled, it's time to deliver these to the Red Line," he muttered.

Scooping up several boxes and a Scroll from the table, Meiser activated his Earth Release Technique and vanished from the spot.

"I'll hide them in the lower section of the Red Line," he decided. "That way, no one will discover what's inside."

Nodding in confirmation, he quickened his pace.

Meanwhile, elsewhere...

In the New World, at the headquarters of the World Economic Times, Morgans sat before a Fax Transponder Snail, sipping coffee.

"Phew~"

Blowing on his coffee, he murmured, "I wonder how long it'll take for the Blood-Eyed Ninja to send me the photos." He glanced repeatedly at the Fax Transponder Snail, his expression tinged with anticipation.

Nearby, Mosser observed Morgans with a resigned look. "Boss... there's no need for this," he said. "Checking the Fax Transponder Snail over ten times in a minute... Is that really necessary?"

"Of course it's necessary!" Morgans said with a serious expression. "We must compile the newspaper immediately, then proceed with printing and distribution!!"

Only this way could the World Government do nothing to stop him!

As the president of the World Economic Times, Morgans understood all the intricacies involved.

Mosser, being Morgans' trusted subordinate, naturally understood his boss's thinking and didn't attempt further persuasion. Just then, the Fax Transponder Snail behind Morgans began ringing.

"Brrr!"

"Brrr!"

"Brrr!"

"It's here?!"

Hearing the Fax Transponder Snail's signal, Morgans immediately set his coffee aside, sprang up from the sofa, and rushed toward the device.

"It actually came..." Mosser followed closely, commenting, "Their efficiency is this high?"

As Morgans' subordinate, Mosser naturally knew about the deal his boss had made with the Blood-Eyed Ninja.

But the problem was... that man had only called this morning!

And he'd already reached Mary Geoise in less than a day?

How unbelievable was that?

"This is even better, isn't it?" Morgans grinned. This proved the other party was a man of his word, and he loved cooperating with such people!

Morgans then focused his attention below the Fax Transponder Snail, waiting for it to produce the photographs.

After a moment...

"Bzzzt~"

Seeing a photo being ejected, Morgans immediately grabbed it to examine.

Mosser leaned in for a look, then his pupils contracted sharply. "He actually destroyed Mary Geoise..."

Looking at the severely damaged buildings in the photo, Mosser felt his heart tremble violently!

That man had actually done it... He'd truly wreaked havoc in the Holy Land!

"Exactly, this is Mary Geoise." Morgans laughed heartily. "This guy actually pulled it off!"

From the running figures visible in the image, one could deduce certain information.

If he wasn't mistaken, those figures were the slaves liberated by the Blood-Eyed Ninja!

Giving these slaves a chance at freedom while using this opportunity to destroy Mary Geoise...

Admittedly, this was quite an effective method.

"This guy really tore a hole in the heavens..." Mosser swallowed hard.

But... but why did he feel so excited?

After another glance at the photo's contents, Mosser's expression gradually grew excited.

"Hmph, tearing a hole in the heavens is exactly what we need!" Morgans declared. "This way we get even more explosive news!"

As president of the World Economic Times, Morgans thrived on chaos and turmoil.

"Then what do these patterns on his arm mean?" Mosser pointed at the characters on Meiser's arm. "I don't remember him having these during the Marine Headquarters incident."

As he spoke, Mosser recalled the live broadcast footage he'd seen earlier, then nodded firmly, confirming his memory.

"He definitely didn't have these before." Morgans narrowed his eyes.

"Is it a tattoo?"

"My intuition tells me it's not." Morgans shook his head.

Rather than tattoos, he was more inclined to wonder what the Blood-Eyed Ninja wanted to express.

What exactly is he trying to convey? Morgans pondered inwardly.

His intuition told him that the reason the Blood-Eyed Ninja sought cooperation with him might be related to these numbers—otherwise, there would be no need to give him the photos at all!

But if he had to guess, he still couldn't figure out what they meant.

Could it be some kind of code?

That wasn't impossible.

"If it's not a tattoo… then what is it?" Mosser asked, puzzled.

"How should I know?" Morgans rolled his eyes.

He then handed the photo to Mosser and said, "Never mind, let's focus on getting the newspaper published first.

Anyway, his cooperation with the Blood-Eyed Ninja was about releasing the photos along with the newspaper, so there was no need to dig too deeply into this."

Mosser scratched his head and nodded. "Alright."

Since his boss had said so, he didn't press further.

Morgans nodded, then looked through the photos spat out by the Fax Transponder Snail one more time before picking up the piece of paper with some writing on it.

After reading the contents, Morgans laughed heartily. "Gahahaha! Just as I thought!"

The paper clearly described what the Blood-Eyed Ninja had done in Mary Geoise:

Killing Celestial Dragons and freeing slaves to incite a riot!

Combining these two, it was undoubtedly an event that would shock the world!!

This meant… his newspaper would astonish everyone and bring him massive profits!

The thought made Morgans laugh even more gleefully.

"Gahahaha!"

"Blood-Eyed Ninja, I'm starting to like you more and more!"

"Gahahaha!"

He then handed all the photos and the paper to Mosser, saying, "Go ahead, polish these along with Draft No. 2, and then we can publish it."

Among the five drafts he had prepared, only Draft No. 2 was most suitable for the current situation, so that was the one to use.

Mosser, who had collected the photos, glanced at the materials in his hand and looked up. "Boss, should we rush it?"

"Of course!" Morgans replied without hesitation. "Try to get it done within half a day!"

After a brief pause, he continued, "That way, even if the World Government finds out what we're publishing, they won't be able to do anything about it."

"But won't they suspect a deal between you and the Blood-Eyed Ninja?" Mosser asked with concern.

If the World Government used that as an excuse to hold them accountable… their boss might end up in trouble.

"No, no, no. I don't know any Blood-Eyed Ninja," Morgans said with a smirk. "I just inexplicably received these photos and information, so I decided to publish this explosive news."

"What… could possibly be wrong with that?"

As a seasoned veteran, he knew exactly how to handle the World Government in such situations.

"Uh…" Mosser hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "You're really something, Boss."

Thinking it over, that explanation did make sense.

After all… their World Economic News Agency received all sorts of intelligence every day, so his boss wasn't exactly lying.

In that case... even if the World Government wanted to cause trouble for their boss, it wouldn't be an easy task.

Thinking this, Mosser gradually relaxed.

"You still have a lot to learn, kid," Morgans said with an air of seasoned wisdom.

When dealing with a behemoth like the World Government, one must be quick-witted—otherwise, you wouldn't even know how you died!

Then, he glanced at the clock nearby and, seeing that there was still enough time, said, "Go on, hurry and compile the newspaper. Aim to publish it by tomorrow morning!"

There were less than ten hours until dawn. With some extra effort, they should be able to produce the newspaper in time.

As for whether the Blood-Eyed Ninja could hold out that long...

That wasn't something he needed to worry about. His newspaper had to be published no matter what!

"Yes!"

Upon receiving the order, Mosser didn't waste any more words. He turned around, took the materials, and left.

I need to finish what the boss needs as quickly as possible and get it published! Mosser thought to himself.

With that in mind, Mosser quickened his pace.

Watching him leave, Morgans murmured, "Blood-Eyed Ninja..."

"I wonder what other surprises you have in store for me?"

As if struck by a thought, Morgans grinned.

Then, he turned to gaze at the moonlight outside the window and said, "You'd better survive. That way, I'll have even more explosive news to publish~"

"Gahahahaha!"
