Each punch carried overwhelming force as it slammed brutally into Kale.
Nearby, Caulifla stared wide-eyed in utter shock at the scene before her.
The Son Goku she saw now was completely different from the carefree, constantly smiling man she had known before.
Who would have thought that he also had such a bloody and brutal side?

"Kale! Wake up already!" She screamed desperately at her friend.
Yet Son Goku's fists did not stop at this very moment.
He raised his fist high into the air once more, but just then, Caulifla stepped forward and blocked him.
"Wait! Stop hitting her!" Son Goku stopped and locked eyes with Caulifla.
"Are you really sure about this?"
His gaze sharpened as he questioned her sternly.
At that exact moment, Kale broke free from Son Goku's grip and stood up.
ROAR…!
A thunderous roar erupted from behind Caulifla as Kale raised her fist, ready to clear the obstacle in her path.
At that moment, Caulifla stood resolutely in front of Son Goku.
She stood with her back to Son Goku. She said firmly, without the slightest hesitation:
"Of course. I don't want to see Kale beaten to death by you."
Then, she turned towards Kale and shouted at her:
"Kale! Stop this stupid behaviour! I'm Caulifla! Your big sister! Do you still remember me?!"
At that very moment, just as Kale's fist was about to come crashing down, Caulifla raised her voice even louder.
At that moment, Caulifla closed her eyes. If she said she wasn't afraid, that would be a lie. Her heart was pounding wildly and her breathing had stopped. She had no idea what consequences her actions would bring.
She was gambling, betting everything on the deep sisterly bond she and Kale had shared over the years.
Fortunately for her, she won the gamble.
Caulifla's voice continuously entered Kale's ears.
After Son Goku's barrage of punches earlier, some of Kale's senses had already begun to return to normal.
Stimulated by the intense pain, her hearing was gradually recovering too.
Because of that, she heard Caulifla's call.
The fist that was about to strike Caulifla suddenly stopped in mid-air.

She threw herself into Kale's arms and hugged her tightly.
"Kale! Thank goodness you're back! You're back to normal!"
Having regained her sanity, Kale's body had shrunk slightly.
She also tightly embraced Caulifla in return.
"I'm sorry… big sister, I just…"
Caulifla did not blame Kale at all. Instead, she gently patted her back and comforted her:
"What are you saying, Kale? How could your big sister ever blame you? As long as you're back to normal, that's enough!"

After all, they were from the same universe.

"But now, Kale, I think if the two of us sisters work together, we might actually be able to defeat Son Goku."
