Warm sunlight poured into the amusement park, coating this sea of joy with brilliant golden light.
Hermione pushed hard against Tiger's back, walking toward the carousel with a happy smile.
Though Tiger's face was full of reluctance, he couldn't resist the hopeful gleam in Hermione's eyes.
Just like a father unable to refuse his daughter's plea.
However, just then, they saw the young clerk who'd disappeared into the hot dog stand.
Tiger's brow furrowed.
"Damn it, are you blind!"
"Sorry, sorry, sir..."
"You're only fit to sell hot dogs your whole life. Look what you've done, damn hick..."
The clerk from before was now half-kneeling on the ground, head down, wiping the shoes in front of her.
The jar filled with chocolate sauce lay alone on the ground, covered in mud and sand.
Tears silently fell, wetting the clerk's young face. Even though her heart was full of grievance, her urgent apologies didn't stop.
"I'm really sorry, sir..."
"Damn idiot!"
The man standing before her kept cursing. Beneath his suit and tie, he was full of upper-class arrogance and contempt.
Hermione stopped pushing Tiger. Stood quietly beside him, eyes narrowing.
"Hermione, what are you doing..."
"We just watched the clown show. It was so fun. The clown even gave Neville a balloon."
Harry and Neville walked over holding fries and cola, eating and chatting. Seeing Hermione's chin slightly raised, they instinctively followed her gaze.
They saw the suited man kick the clerk's hand away without courtesy, then turn and leave cursing.
The clerk stumbled, fell backward. The cloth in her hand dropped. Glass shards from the chocolate sauce jar pierced her hand...
"Oh my God!"
Harry's eyes widened with concern.
Hermione quickly stepped forward, blocking the man's path. Stepped directly on his shoe.
"Hey, my shoe!"
"Watch it! What kind of cursed day is this! Damn it, what's wrong with your eyes!"
The man roughly pushed Hermione aside. His harsh face mixed shock and anger. Looking at his newly dirtied shoes, he cursed again.
"Sir."
"You forgot something important."
Hermione's voice was exceptionally calm. She showed no emotional fluctuation from the man's shove.
"What?"
The man glared at Hermione, his face full of anger. He seemed to find her reminder absurd.
"Your manners."
Before the man could react, Hermione suddenly raised her foot, kicking hard at his vulnerable spot.
"Oh!!!"
The sudden sharp pain made the man's face instantly turn purple. He bent over, knees buckling, hands clutching his groin, groaning in pain through gritted teeth.
But immediately after came brass knuckles flying through the air. With a heavy thud, the man was smashed to the ground. Hermione pounced on him. Vicious strikes fell like raindrops. The man screamed hoarsely.
However, people around were mostly indifferent.
The most common expression was shock and disbelief at Hermione's sudden violence.
"Oh, hell..."
"How did Hermione's strength get even stronger?"
In the distance, Harry swallowed hard.
No matter how you looked at it, there was a significant size difference between Hermione and that man. Fighting him wasn't a wise choice.
But the scene before them was like a chipmunk pinning a small dog to the ground and beating it senseless.
The strength Hermione displayed completely overturned everyone's assumptions about her delicate frame...
Harry could now completely imagine what he and Ron, those two idiots, would face after school started.
"God, I have to tell Ron."
"Otherwise, he'll die..."
Hearing Harry's murmur, Neville nodded thoughtfully, sympathy rising in his eyes.
"I should tell Malfoy too."
"The strength rune's amplification is too strong. He probably couldn't even withstand Hermione's first punch..."
"Strength rune?"
"What strength rune?"
Harry looked at Neville with confusion. Neville blinked. Seeing Harry really didn't know, he pulled out a mithril necklace from his collar and explained:
"This is a gift Venom gave me. It has defensive counter-runes carved by the Shelby Family. After receiving a lethal attack, it counters with a Petrification Curse."
"Tiger also modified something for Hermione. It's carved on those brass knuckles. There's probably more than just strength runes..."
Given that Harry and Ron, those two idiots, often made Hermione angry, Neville had to quietly warn:
"You need to be careful, Harry... Hermione's temper... uh... you know..."
The screams and cries for help stopped abruptly.
Seeing the man pass out cold, his bruised and swollen face completely deformed and twisted, Harry shuddered violently and nodded repeatedly.
"You're right, Neville..."
Hermione wiped all the blood from her brass knuckles onto the man's suit. Then she walked briskly to Tiger, tugging at his arm and pleading:
"Let's go, Tiger~"
"Let's ride the carousel."
As if nothing had happened, Tiger sighed expressionlessly. Under Hermione's happy pushing, he walked toward the colorful carousel...
Watching Hermione and Tiger's backs, Harry's eyes gradually became dazed. Deep in his heart, a subtle feeling inexplicably surged.
He suddenly realized something.
Those shackles and troubles that bound him tightly didn't seem to exist for Hermione and Neville.
As for Tiger, there was no need to mention him.
Just now, several security guards had tried to stop Hermione. But under Tiger's oppressive gaze, they all involuntarily stopped and cautiously kept their distance.
Like facing a beast close at hand.
No one dared act rashly.
Afraid even their insignificant actions would anger it, bringing unpredictable danger.
This wasn't rationality.
It was instinctive warning.
"That's really nice..."
Harry sighed in a daze.
Dusk gradually rose.
The distant horizon was tinged with gentle orange-red, as if sunlight had carefully mixed paint, slowly spreading across the azure canvas...
Tiger led Hermione, who was radiating pink bubbles, out of the amusement park. Though he didn't know why Hermione became like this after riding the Ferris wheel, instinct told him he'd better stay quiet and not speak.
"That was so thrilling, Harry!"
"Is that what it feels like riding the Nimbus 2000? I'm so jealous!"
Harry and Neville followed behind them.
Neville, who'd ridden the roller coaster seven times in a row, still had indescribable excitement on his face.
As if he couldn't wait to tell the whole world he'd finally experienced the thrill and joy of a Flying Broomstick soaring through the sky.
"I'm glad you're happy..."
"Neville... ugh..."
Harry covered his mouth, his face somewhat pale.
The roller coaster felt completely different from the Nimbus 2000. He'd gotten motion sick on the second ride, but to accompany Neville, he had to endure.
"Wow, what's that..."
"Is that Gringotts?"
Neville suddenly stopped, looking at the luxuriously decorated restaurant in the distance with amazement.
