Hello everybody. I want to begin with thanking all of my readers and people who supported me on this journey, but I have decided to end Where Light Withers. I know, or hope, some of you were looking forward to seeing it continue, and I genuinely appreciate everyone who stuck with it. But this webnovel was more of a project. It started out as a fun hobby and writing this taught me a lot.
This doesn't mean I'm permanently dropping this novel. But in all honesty, I doubt that I will return to writing this. It had far too many problems and issues which I believe is obvious.
Instead, I will try and learn from my mistakes and write a new, original, better story. I learned what works for me and what doesn't. Even though this story stops here, everything I learned while creating it is going straight into my next project. I hope you'll look forward to what comes next, because I'm going into it with far more experience, confidence, and clarity than when I started this one.
