(Morning arrives quietly over the inn, and the first rays of sunlight creep through the paper windows, announcing the end of a peaceful night filled with tranquility. Everyone begins to wake up gradually, and the members of both families gather around a simple Japanese breakfast table, exchanging conversations and smiles as if they were one family.)
Ahmed was looking at his parents and siblings from time to time, happy to see them enjoying their time in Japan, while Misaki, Honoka, and Yoshika shared the conversation with them amidst a warm atmosphere.
And after everyone finished breakfast… Ahmed's father asked his son to accompany him to the small wooden balcony overlooking the garden. Ahmed went out with him, and noticed that his father's features had become calmer and more serious.
A short silence prevailed. Then his father sighed and said in Arabic:
Ahmed's Father: "My son... these days have made us very happy."
(Ahmed looks at him with a smile.)
Ahmed: "Me too, Father. I felt as if Yemen had come to me."
His father nods his head affectionately, then continues:
Ahmed's Father: "But every journey has an end... and your mother and I have agreed to return to Yemen tomorrow morning."
(Ahmed's smile gradually disappears.) His eyes widen slightly, as if he hadn't expected to hear these words so soon.
Ahmed: "...Tomorrow?"
Ahmed's Father: "Yes, my son. We have our home and our work there, and your brothers must return to their schools. We came to check on you, and thank God, we saw you standing on your own feet, and we saw the good people surrounding you."
Ahmed falls silent for moments, then lowers his head. He knew his father's words made sense... but his heart was not ready to bid them farewell once again.
His father places his hand on his son's shoulder and smiles.
Ahmed's Father: "Don't be sad... distances do not keep hearts apart. And we will stay in constant contact with you."
(Ahmed raises his head, and smiles a smile mixed with happiness and sadness.)
Ahmed: "Thank you, Father... for coming. These days will always remain in my memory."
At that moment, Ahmed's mother came out from inside the inn and called everyone to prepare to leave. As for Misaki, she noticed the signs of sadness on Ahmed's face, but she didn't say anything, only looking at him in silence, realizing that farewells are never easy.
And as the two families began gathering their luggage preparing to return… Ahmed felt that this day would be the beginning of a new farewell, after a few days filled with warmth and memories that would never be forgotten.
