Chapter 216 - Chapter 216 : Facing Killer Bee 2

The battlefield shifted the moment Killer Bee completed his transformation, as the full form of Gyuki towered over the forest, its massive body casting a shadow that swallowed the clearing entirely, its presence alone forcing the ground to tremble under its weight.

Sukuna stood beneath it, unmoving for a brief moment, his four eyes studying the size of his opponent without the slightest trace of hesitation.

For him, this was just a bigger target to test out his new power on. So even after the ridiculous size of Gyuki and its oppressive pressure, he attacked the tailed beast anyway.

Invisible slashes tore through the air as Sukuna unleashed Dismantle once more, stronger and sharper than before. Every time he used them, he found he was getting slightly better, each strike aimed at the massive body of the Eight-Tails, cutting across its hide in rapid succession. The attacks landed cleanly, yet the result was… disappointing.

They did not fail completely, but they did not succeed either. The slashes left behind wounds deep enough for a human, not a ten-story monster.

Those attacks honestly did nothing to Gyuki's huge form. Not only were the attacks too shallow for the monster to harm him, but the range of the attacks was smaller too.

The thick, dense flesh of Gyuki absorbed the attacks, leaving behind only shallow marks that meant little against something of that size, the damage too insignificant to matter in a prolonged fight.

Sukuna exhaled slowly.

"So that's the limit," he muttered, already losing interest in continuing down that path.

Then he shifted.

If Dismantle could not cut deep enough—

Then Cleave would.

Sukuna vanished from his position, reappearing along one of Gyuki's massive tentacles just as it lashed downward, his hand making brief contact with the surface.

Killer Bee and the Eight-Tails in that huge form weren't fast enough to react in time. Before they knew it, Sukuna was right on top of one of his tentacles.

"Cleave."

The result was immediate.

The tentacle split cleanly, severed in an instant as a massive portion of it crashed to the ground, shaking the battlefield with its impact.

Gyuki roared, the sound echoing like thunder. Pain shot through the tailed beast's body.

"Bee!" the beast growled, its awareness sharpening instantly. "Don't let him touch us!"

"I know!" Bee responded from within, already shifting the beast's movements as multiple tentacles surged forward at once, creating distance and denying Sukuna any direct path to the main body.

But Sukuna did not stop.

He moved again, weaving between the attacks with precise timing, closing in whenever an opening appeared, his hands striking out in brief, calculated moments, each contact followed by another clean cut as more tentacles were severed and brought crashing down around him.

Yet each success made the next approach harder.

Gyuki adapted quickly, its movements becoming tighter, more defensive, its massive limbs working together to block, intercept, and push Sukuna away before he could reach anything vital.

Honestly, to Gyuki, Sukuna was like an annoying pest—a much more dangerous pest, but a pest still, size-wise.

The most irritating part was that the Eight-Tails couldn't use a Tailed Beast Bomb because the four-eyed, four-armed bastard was way too close to him.

Darting around his massive body so quickly that even landing the ultimate attack in his arsenal would have been impossible, let alone the damage his own giant body would suffer.

The battlefield turned into a constant exchange of space and pressure, Sukuna forcing his way in, Gyuki forcing him back out.

"You're not getting close again!" Bee shouted, his control over the beast tightening as he adjusted to Sukuna's pattern.

Sukuna did not argue.

He simply continued.

Cutting. Testing. Measuring. Everything on repeat until he figured out the limit of Cleave in his curse mark state.

Each use of Cleave gave him more information, more understanding of its limits against something this large, this durable, until eventually he slowed, his movements becoming less aggressive as the purpose of the exchange shifted.

He had learned enough.

Now the fight could change.

There was still one thing left, though...

Sukuna stepped back, just enough to create space, his gaze lifting slightly as his focus shifted from Gyuki to something else entirely.

"Let's see how you handle this," he said quietly.

In an instant, he disappeared.

"What?!"

"Where did he go?"

Both Bee and the Eight-Tails were left searching for his mark.

Little did they know that they were searching in the wrong place; instead of the ground, they should have checked the sky.

Reappearing high above the battlefield, far beyond the immediate reach of Gyuki's attacks, his body began to free fall as one of his hands reached into his pouch and pulled out a scroll.

But it wasn't just any scroll.

He bit into his thumb without hesitation, smearing blood across the markings as the formula activated beneath his touch.

"I so much wished to use this in a fight...," Sukuna smirked.

The seal ignited.

And something massive came to life under a huge cloud of smoke.

With a violent burst of smoke and force, a colossal form materialized directly above Gyuki, descending with overwhelming weight as it crashed down onto the Eight-Tails, the impact shaking the entire forest as the ground fractured under the combined mass.

A giant, elephant-like creature stood over the battlefield.

It was Baku.

The same one which Danzo had. Sukuna had made a contract with it years ago when he raided Root and killed Danzo.

As for why the scroll?

Since he couldn't make hand signs to form the summoning contract, he had to make the contract by hand to summon Baku. He always kept one on him just in case.

Gyuki growled, its massive body momentarily pinned beneath the unexpected weight. "What is this...!?"

"Move!" Bee snapped, forcing the beast to push back, muscles straining as it began to rise, slowly but surely overpowering the restraint.

Baku was strong.

But not strong enough to hold Gyuki for long.

However, what was truly impressive was the size of Baku. Even standing opposite a tailed beast, Baku looked impressive by its sheer size alone.

It was even bigger than Gyuki's true form. A solid 15% to 20% bigger.

Sukuna landed lightly atop Baku's head, already moving as if this had been planned from the beginning.

"Buy me time," he said calmly.

Baku grunted at first at him, no doubt for never calling for it even after they made a contract years ago, but still ultimately responded.

Its massive lungs expanded as it began to inhale, the air around it distorting violently as everything in its path was pulled inward, trees uprooted, debris lifted, the very atmosphere bending toward its maw.

Gyuki resisted easily enough; its size was more than enough to counter the pull of the suction.

"What is this now!?" Bee demanded, his voice strained as he fought against the suction.

"A summoned beast," Gyuki replied grimly. "Seems like we are not just fighting someone randomly strong, Bee. This one seems to have strong connections or a deep background to possess and summon a beast of this size."

Standing atop Baku, Sukuna raised one hand, taking the familiar Enmaten hand sign. He motioned to Baku to act together with him when he finally let out the word.

"Fuga."

Flames ignited.

A powerful fire attack which had been his trusted tool for years now had become even more destructive under the influence of the curse mark.

However, that wasn't the limit of this attack. Even with the curse mark amp, the attack wouldn't have done much to Gyuki's enormous size.

But exactly when Sukuna released his fire, Baku released its stored air in a violent blast forward alongside him, merging fire with wind in a single, devastating combination jutsu.

The result was catastrophic.

A wave of fire erupted outward, expanding instantly into a massive inferno, a tidal surge of flame that swallowed everything in its path, the forest vanishing beneath it as the attack surged toward Gyuki with overwhelming speed and scale.

There was no dodging it.

No escaping it.

Gyuki braced, roaring as the flames crashed into its body, the sheer intensity forcing even the Eight-Tails to endure rather than avoid, its massive form engulfed in the inferno as the fire burned across its surface with relentless force.

The explosion lit the sky.

And for a moment—

Everything disappeared into fire.

It was loud and destructive. The fire burned everything in sight until everything was cinders.

However, no matter how powerful the fire was, it wasn't enough to completely stop a tailed beast.

Even Madara Uchiha, with fire strong enough to burn entire armies, couldn't burn a tailed beast.

By the time everything calmed down, what Sukuna saw was a charred squid. A very large charred squid.

A very large, very alive, and very, very pissed-looking large charred squid.

"It is wrong to feel hungry right now." Sukuna honestly wondered.

And then he sensed it, a powerful chakra condensing around the mouth of Gyuki.

"Tail Beast Bomb!"

For the first time, even Sukuna was genuinely serious. Because this was one attack which could actually kill him in one shot, to the point his RCT too would be useless if he was careless.

He saw the giant black orb of mass destruction forming in the Eight-Tails' mouth and got ready.

"Fine..." He snarled.

"I was itching to use my very own special move since the last time I faced one of your kind." He grumbled.

He brought both of his hands together and concentrated as cursed energy around him condensed.

"CURSE TECHNIQUE MAXIMUM..."

xXx

A/N : Yeah... I made a technique maximum for him, and its not world cutting slash. Cool right !
