Lily POV
I approached cautiously, very aware that anyone could walk into the kitchen at any moment. But when I got close enough, Nathan leaned down and placed a small kiss on my lips, letting his mouth linger for just a second longer than necessary.
I stepped back quickly, glancing nervously toward the doorway. "Nathan, what if someone walks in?"
He shrugged, completely unbothered. "Then they'd have to look away."
He chuckled at the surprise that must have shown on my face. "Relax, Lily. You're wound tighter than a drum."
As he talked, he pulled me to himself again, trapping me between his body and the kitchen island as he began to shower kisses on me. At first, I protested, constantly, looking towards the kitchen door and wondering if someone was hiding there staring at us.
But damn my needy body. I began to respond to his touches and kisses. Kissing him back feverishly as he explored my body.
