Chapter 146 - Chapter 146: God of Thunder: Thunder Dragon · 200 Million Volts!

With a thunderous roar that shook the heavens, the colossal form of the Thunder God spread his ten fingers wide and pulled his hands apart before him.

In an instant, two lightning dragons, each a hundred meters long, took shape. With the might of thunder itself, they lunged straight at Guman in midair.

Guman's eyes were already wide with shock when he first laid eyes on the Thunder God.

But when the two enormous lightning dragons suddenly rushed at him, it was too late to dodge. In desperation, he unleashed his Armament Haki to the fullest and even projected his Conqueror's Haki outward to shield his entire body.

BOOM! BOOM!

The violent crackle of lightning filled the air as the dragons crashed against Guman.

"Th–that's terrifying!"

"Run!!"

"This battle is already lost!"

Thunder rolled across the skies, and blinding arcs of lightning lit up the gloomy battlefield.

Below, the coalition army quaked in terror at the sight of those monstrous lightning dragons. When the explosions hit, the shockwaves alone were enough to crush the breath from their lungs.

Only then did they finally realize—they weren't fighting a man. They were fighting a monster.

They prided themselves as "iron-blooded armies" in their own nations, unmatched by ordinary people or pirates.

But never had they witnessed power like this.

Under that crushing pressure, the entire coalition's morale collapsed. Unless someone could stop the Thunder God above, there would be no will left to fight.

"AAAAHHHH—!"

As the lightning dragons detonated, Guman's agonized scream rang out across the sky. But it didn't last long—soon after, a charred figure plummeted from the heavens.

BOOM!

The body crashed onto a battleship, smashing a gaping hole straight through the deck.

"H–he's… dead?"

"Lord Guman… Lord Guman is dead…!"

The crew instinctively ran to the hole and peered inside.

The man who moments ago had seemed like a god before them was now nothing more than a charred corpse—his body still faintly giving off the smell of roasted flesh.

Guman's death was the final straw that broke the coalition's resolve. As cries of horror spread among the ships, the entire army collapsed into chaos and fled.

Across the turbulent sea, warships scrambled to turn about and escape. So-called "defeat like a mountain collapsing" could hardly be a more fitting description.

High above, Enel did not release his Thunder God form. Instead, he raised his hand once more, his cold voice cutting through the storm:

"Ten Billion Volts · Thunderstorm!!"

At his words, a massive black thunderball began to form above his head, roiling with unimaginable lightning and turbulent winds.

"Damn it—this guy!"

Seeing that giant thunderball in the sky, Zoro's composure finally broke. On the Thousand Sunny's deck, no one could remain calm.

They had witnessed Enel's Raigo back on Skypiea.

That technique wasn't something any human should be capable of.

"Turn the ship around!!"

Nami's face went pale as she screamed at Franky, who was at the helm. She also shouted to Sanji and the others:

"Warn every ship! Tell them to get out of this sea right now! That bastard Enel has gone insane!!"

The terror of Raigo was seared in her memory, even after all these years. Who could say how much stronger Enel's current attack was?

Though she couldn't predict its exact scale, her instincts told her: this sea would not remain safe for even a second longer.

At her command, the Straw Hats leapt into action, each taking their roles. Soon, the fleet turned hard, fleeing desperately toward Zunesha's direction.

"That monster…!"

Though gravely wounded, Dragon had never taken his eyes off the battle. His concern was not only for the battlefield, but also for his son.

But what he saw now went beyond anything he could have imagined.

The colossal thunder giant suspended in the sky, the massive black thunderball… his own Mythical Zoan Thunderbird fruit gave him the power to control lightning.

And so, he more than anyone else understood just how catastrophic that thunderball's power truly was.

What shocked him most was that the harmless-looking "pretty boy" could wield such a killing technique. If that attack landed, the entire coalition army would be annihilated.

Defeating the coalition army should have been a victory worth celebrating. But Dragon felt no joy at all.

Bzzzt… Bzzzt…

As he faltered, the air vibrated violently. The hundred-meter black thunderball surged forward, hurled by Enel.

Wreathed in lightning and gales, Raigo streaked through the sky like a black meteor before slamming into the ocean below.

A shockwave of raw energy radiated outward, collapsing inward toward the thunderball.

KRA-KOOOM!

BOOM!

The instant the energy contracted, the unstable sphere exploded with earth-shaking force.

Lightning and gales rampaged in every direction. Shockwaves rippled outward like seismic waves, battering the sea into chaos.

Any warship caught within range was instantly vaporized, vanishing into nothingness.

The blast shone so brightly that all were forced to shield their eyes.

Vision vanished in a wash of white; hearing disappeared in the deafening roar.

For that moment, it was as if the entire world ceased to exist—leaving only light.

The coalition soldiers engulfed by the blast had no time to scream before they were reduced to nothing, scattered into the air.

The shockwave heaved the sea into a massive upheaval, radiating farther and farther.

BOOOOM!!

When the light finally receded, a towering mushroom cloud loomed in the distance.

But no one had time to marvel—because far off, a wall of ocean as tall as a fortress was surging straight toward them.

"A tsunami!! RUN!!"

Panic spread. Faces went ashen. Survival instinct took hold—there was only one thought left: escape.

But no matter how hard their ships raced forward, they could not outrun the colossal tsunami. The towering wall of water and energy bore down on them, closing in with crushing inevitability.

"Damn it!!"

From his hidden vantage, Dragon's face twisted. With no choice, he forced his battered body into his Thunderbird form.

The azure Mythical Zoan Thunderbird—its wings could command both lightning and wind.

With a powerful beat of his wings, emerald hurricanes spun into existence, lashing out against the oncoming tsunami.

CRASH!! ROOOAR!!

The clash of two forces of nature shook the sea itself.

But Dragon's grievous wounds and drained stamina left him too weak—the hurricanes could not hold back the tide.

"Damn it all… what kind of monster IS this man?!"

Dragon glared at the shrunken yet still towering Thunder God in the sky, seething with rage and despair.

If this tsunami struck, the coalition forces would be wiped from existence.

But just as he despaired, a familiar voice rang out behind him—

"Dark Zone!!"

With that cry, a small boat blazing with fire sped across the waves. In an instant, Dragon recognized the figures aboard—Sabo and Ace!

At Sabo's shout, a wave of black energy spread across the sea beneath the boat…
