"If that's how you want it, fine." Gilbert's voice was clipped, cold. "But the moment I find another woman, I expect you to honor your word and walk away. Don't act like you didn't see this coming."
Cherry didn't say a word. She simply picked up the pen and signed the contract without hesitation. Afterwards, she handed the paper back to Gilbert with a tight expression.
"About last night… five times," Cherry muttered, glancing at him.
Gilbert raised a brow. "Five?" His tone was almost mocking. "When did you come up with that number? Or were you so busy counting favors in your head, you lost track of reality?"
Cherry's cheeks flushed. "On the sofa… three times…" she trailed off, not knowing how to explain without sounding foolish.
