It's been months since the entire team laughed at me, but still, we all became friends after. Vic accepted my support while Mama babied me. Gray respected my opinion as a computer expert, while Rose considered me a friend. GW utilized me as a reliable asset, and Rain helped me get in shape. Lily and I became really good buddies who are both socially awkward, and Steel accepted me as a supporter.
Spice has hit on me many times, but Ayana took her away every time, and ImP uses me for assistance a lot. BlaD and I have a good working relationship, and Sweets and I became good buddies. Jo considers me an asset that could help the team and Norn and I are close as I'm now her biggest fan. Finally, KiWi considers me a loyal vassal to her, and I know all this cause I've spent a lot of time with the team and they told me this themselves. Now during this time my responsibilities have grown and so has my team.
It seems I am now the head of cybersecurity, head of public affairs, and social media. My job as Head of Public Management and Marketing/Head of Censorship has now expanded. Still thanks to the boss we were able to expand my team using the people in the chat group. We're even in good relations with the chat group's leader ADigitalUmaFan. Now we have a small army of people in different units to do work for us.
Still, we have a lot of enemies for some reason I didn't know. That's why I asked the boss Mina and she revealed to me that most of the enemies at the moment came from her twin sister's side. The rest were company rivals, but they were the minority. Her sister will do anything to undermine her and sabotage her in any way. Even though the boss is more successful than her sister, since her sister was an Uma Musume the family basically worshipped her sister and overlooked her.
That's why she got away from her family and started her own business. That's why they now make billions in profits since they're now a corporation that runs multiple mega brands and stores. Still, people think they're a small company cause they only know the brand names not the Dark Wear Fashion Corporation. Now she's trying to make a racing team in a rival league as her sister races in the Noble Racing League, to show she's better than her in every way. Still, her sister sending hackers and spies is kinda wack, but so is this sibling rivalry.
Now I have to prepare, because in the future my job is going to get busier as the team gets even more popular. Even now Iguro and I are working together to protect the team. The heads are even separated into teams of two to help each other out. Takeshi and Suzu, Yuto and Tsukasa, and Iguro and I are examples. Hachi and Mana, Juna and Ana, and finally Ayana and the boss are also a team.
Now for the last few weeks, we've been setting up a live broadcast on multiple sites without getting the league's attention. We plan on broadcasting on multiple social media sites, video sites, and chat groups. We even hired VTubers and reactors to watch it. This will only broadcast in Japan where the FSRL has no control or legal broadcast rights. Still, they could shut us down, but I know they're competitive enough with the Noble Racing League not to.
We want as many people to watch this as possible, but we have to keep it from the eyes of NRL supporters reporting it to the FSRL and forcing them to bring it down to save face. Now since we arrived in Wellington my team and I have put in video recording devices for the race. While also protecting the team and helping set up the winning live for later. We also set up everything we need to have the perfect live broadcast for both shows. One show for the races and one show for the concert after the victory.
The day of the race soon came and now I'm here to watch it all unfold. We got the team prepped and pumped up for today. Then the announcers began introducing the team as they came out of the tunnel. They were all perfectly disguised and their identities were protected. We began the live broadcast, but that's when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder.
It was a member of the tournament staff and he handed us a note before bowing and leaving. I opened it and it read," Dear lovely camera crew, we know what you're doing and know where it's being shown. This is also a warning that we can find you anywhere and anytime. Now our boss's number is in the envelope and our leader would like to talk with yours. Your broadcast will also be allowed to keep going, so do not fear we will not stop you."
It finished with," We are waiting to have a chat at this time:_:_, please contact us at this time. Thank you, Red Bloomberg." I soon contacted Mina immediately and once she knew it was urgent I went to where she was and gave her the note. She nodded saying she'll take care of it, and I should get back to my assignment. Soon I came back and my team was celebrating.
I knew the tournament had begun and these people were just celebrating. I asked," EVERYONE, why aren't you in your position?!" I then saw my team smile and was handed a data set of all the broadcasts. I was speechless as I saw that every single live broadcast was at max viewership capacity. We had captured the Japanese underground. Now I soon began celebrating with everyone.
They then showed me the recordings and soon I was speechless again, before I just started reacting to what I was watching. The team was epic and I am now freaking out at what I was watching. The dominance, the strength, the speed. We were winning this tournament and doing it easily.
