Scene 1: Arrival at the Gate
Night had fallen over the Shadow Realm. Unknown darkness and silence enveloped everything. Four warriors made their way along the narrow path inside Soryth's forest, surrounded by dense trees. Kai led from the front, gripping the hilts of his twin shadow swords tightly with both hands. Beside him, Aya (Ayaka) moved swiftly, her eyes scanning every corner with sharp vigilance. Behind them, Rai (Raizo) ran with his staff slung over his shoulder, while Shinsei walked calmly at the very back—every step seeming pre-planned.
Kai said firmly, "The further we go, the colder and heavier the air becomes. It feels like a storm is coming."
Shinsei replied, "There is a possibility of a storm, but it doesn't feel like a natural one. Remember, this is no ordinary place. This is the Shadow Realm. Each region here is controlled by its own ruler. From the environment, you can understand the power of that ruler."
Aya said, "I also think Shinsei is right. Because of Soryth's explosions, this forest still smells of smoke and sand."
Rai said, "I'm starting to understand how these people control other elements using Shadow power!"
Shinsei smiled slightly and said, "Shadow power is far more powerful than you think. Through it, anything you can imagine—and even things beyond imagination—can be done. I've been researching it for hundreds of thousands of years, yet I still haven't gained complete control over it."
Kai asked in surprise, "Your age is more than hundreds of thousands of years?!"
Shinsei replied, "Yes. You all surely know that Shadow power can grant immortality. It is because of its effect that I am still alive."
Aya said, "Then it must be so much fun. You must have gained so much experience."
Shinsei smiled faintly and said, "It's not fun at all. You could call it a curse."
Rai whispered in Kai and Aya's ears, "And that's probably why Shinsei trained you so hard for so long and brought you here—so he could find a purpose in life again. Otherwise, why would anyone do so much for no reason?"
At that moment, Shinsei placed a hand on Rai's shoulder, freezing him in place.
Shinsei asked, "What are you telling them?"
Rai laughed nervously and said, "Nothing… just talking about the environment. Hehe!"
Kai asked, "Can we also control various elements with our Shadow power?"
Shinsei replied, "Of course. But for that, you need to gain more experience. You must understand your Shadow power even better."
Rai asked, "Do you have control over any element too?"
Shinsei said, "Of course I do. I'm surprised you've been with me all this time and still didn't know."
Aya asked, "Then what is it?"
Shinsei answered, "I have named it 'Elements of Fist'."
Saying this, he began creating auras of different colors in his hands.
Shinsei explained, "Red — Fist of Harm. Blue — Fist of Extreme Pressure. Green — Fist of Absorbing… and so on."
Rai, Aya, and Kai watched in amazement. The sight created a new thought in their minds. They continued walking in silence.
Suddenly, Kai stopped.
Kai said, "We have arrived. We are near the territory of our next opponent."
Everyone looked ahead. A gate stood before them, covered in ancient runes. Grass and moss had grown over it, proving its great age.
Shinsei said, "Rai, give me the key."
Rai handed him the key. Shinsei stepped forward, created a small knife, and carved a mark in the center of the gate. Suddenly, gray light began to glow from the runes. The entire area lit up. Slowly, the gate opened. A refreshing cool breeze rushed out and touched their bodies.
They all stepped inside. There was also a small part of the forest within.
Shinsei said, "Let's rest here for a while. Dawn will come in a short time. As soon as it's morning, we will go to defeat our opponent."
Rai sighed in relief and said, "Finally, some rest!"
They tried to light a fire. The stormy wind made it a bit difficult, but they managed.
Rai leaned against a tree branch and fell asleep. Kai sat by the fire sharpening his weapons. Aya added leaves and branches to the fire. Shinsei sat in meditation.
A long time passed in silence. Suddenly, faint light appeared in the sky. The light fell on their bodies. Dawn had come long ago, but the heavy clouds had delayed their realization.
Shinsei stood up and said, "Get up. We have to go."
Shinsei rose. Aya and Kai also stood. Aya woke Rai from sleep. They started walking again. Soon, the forest began to end.
At that moment, they saw someone sitting in the distance behind the trees. A young man. Beside him was his stall. His name was Thyric. A little behind him sat many ninjas—not too many, but not too few either. Kai's group observed him silently.
Thyric muttered in frustration, "Ugh, I don't feel good. There's nothing to do. Today even all the ninjas are gone. Am I so useless that Zalvor sir gave the training responsibility to Morvex and Bravel? My only duty is to guard the gate. If someone enters through the gate, then I'll guard it. I've been guarding it, but no one has entered till today."
⚔️ Battle: Kai, Aya, Rai, Shinsei vs Thyric
Suddenly, he heard shouting.
One ninja yelled, "Someone is coming toward us!"
Thyric looked and saw Shinsei, Kai, and Aya approaching with weapons. He ordered the ninjas to attack.
Shinsei's Fist of Extreme Pressure sent ninjas flying. Aya's knives cut through them like shadows—fast and lethal. Rai jumped up, spinning his staff and knocking down three ninjas at once. Kai charged into the middle with his twin swords.
Kai shouted, "Shadow Domain Blast!"
Shadow power erupted from his katana, creating a massive explosion. Many ninjas were blown away.
Thyric moved forward himself. But Kai's rapid attacks forced him to retreat. Rai's Shadow Scythe Sweep shattered Thyric's staff. Aya's knives pierced his body. Finally, Kai delivered the finishing blow. Thyric fell, defeated.
Kai's group continued forward. They entered a vast field. The path seemed endless. They walked for hours. The further they went, the darker the clouds became in the sky. Occasionally, the sound of thunder could be heard, but they couldn't tell where it was coming from. Suddenly, in the empty field, they saw hundreds of ninjas training under two Shadow Entities—Bravel and Morvex. Kai's group realized they had to attack directly. They advanced toward them.
🌑 Scene 2: Ninja Assault
Meanwhile, hundreds of ninjas were training. Morvex was teaching them Shadow power control while Bravel was testing their strength. For the strength test, Bravel ordered the ninjas to punch him. All the ninjas attacked with full force, and Bravel defended.
Bravel said to one ninja, "Hit harder!"
The ninja struck with all his strength, but nothing happened to Bravel. Instead, the ninja's hand broke.
Bravel said in irritation, "Ah! You all are useless."
Morvex said, "There's no point in training them. They can't even learn basic skills. How will they control Shadow power?"
At that moment, Morvex noticed something.
Morvex said, "Bravel, someone is rushing toward us."
Bravel asked, "More ninjas?"
Morvex replied, "No, I don't think so."
Bravel said, "Then are they Shadow Entities?"
Morvex answered, "No, they are not from the Shadow Realm."
Bravel turned his gaze away from the ninjas and looked. He said in shock, "Impossible! How did they enter the realm?!"
Morvex said, "It seems their intention is not good. Ninjas, go and bring them to us after defeating them!"
Seeing Kai's group, the ninjas shouted and charged with swords, kunai, and arrows.
Aya's knives cut through them like shadows—swift and deadly. Rai jumped up, spinning his staff and knocking three ninjas to the ground at once. Shinsei leaped into the middle of the ninjas. He turned his hand blue and slammed his fist into the ground.
Boom!!!
A massive explosion occurred. A crater formed in the ground. Some ninjas flew away, while others fell from the violent shockwave. Even those far away felt pain in their bodies. They couldn't understand what had happened.
Kai's twin swords flashed like lightning—double strikes, shadow combos—ninja blood spilled onto the ground.
Still, more ninjas kept coming. Kai cut through them and advanced toward Morvex and Bravel.
Morvex roared, "Bravel, the two of us can't defeat them together. You go and inform Master Zalvor and prepare the others. I'll hold them off until then!"
Bravel asked, "Can you handle it alone?"
Morvex replied, "Don't worry about me. Just do as I said."
Without another word, Bravel ran toward Zalvor's school.
Seeing Bravel running, Kai understood their plan. He quickly broke out of the ninja crowd. He planted both feet firmly on the ground.
Kai shouted, "Shadow Step!"
He reached Bravel at the speed of light, but Bravel slipped away by a hair's breadth. Kai chased after him. At that moment, Morvex charged his sabers with lightning and slammed them into the ground.
Morvex yelled, "Shadow Thunder Viper!"
Lightning erupted from his sabers, twisting together to form a snake that shot toward Kai at lightning speed. Kai quickly turned and used Shadow Sphere Shield. He completely blocked the attack. However, the explosion from the Thunder Shield sent Kai flying. He stood up, slightly out of breath. Morvex advanced toward him. Kai also moved forward with his two swords. They clashed fiercely at close range. Kai's swords and Morvex's sabers created sparks of fire every second. Their battle continued for a long time. As time passed, Kai's Shadow energy and power kept increasing. On the other side, Morvex was getting exhausted. The ninjas were also on the verge of defeat. Morvex realized he had to defend and retreat. He moved back a little. Kai leaped toward him, but Morvex rolled and switched places with Kai.
Suddenly,
Kai shouted, "Shadow Abyss Chain!"
As Morvex turned, chains burst from the ground and wrapped around his legs. The chains began draining Morvex's power. At that moment, Kai enlarged his two swords with Shadow power and drove them into Morvex's body, causing an explosion. Morvex was defeated.
Kai looked at the ninjas. He saw that Aya and Rai had already defeated them and were resting. Shinsei had captured one ninja and learned the location of Zalvor's school. Kai, Aya, and Rai gathered near Shinsei.
Shinsei said, "There's no time to waste. We can't let Zalvor prepare. Follow me quickly."
He began walking rapidly toward the north. Aya, Rai, and Kai followed him. They ran like this for several hours. But the path seemed endless. They realized there was no point in rushing anymore. It would be better to conserve their strength. They slowed their pace.
They walked in silence. The weather grew even worse. They continued walking silently in this environment.
Suddenly,
A massive school appeared before their eyes. It was so grand and beautiful that it put palaces to shame. They approached it. In the school courtyard, Zalvor's Shadow warriors—Bravel, Kyrel, and Faryx—were waiting for them. Behind them, on the school balcony, Zalvor sat calmly drinking tea. He was serene, elderly, and experienced. Beside him, his twin long swords crackled with blue lightning.
Kyrel looked at Bravel and said, "So these are the intruders you came to warn us about."
Bravel replied, "They are not as weak as you think."
Faryx said, "Whether they are strong or not doesn't matter. They will have to face the consequences of intruding into Zalvor sir's school."
Saying this, he advanced. Bravel and Kyrel also moved forward.
⚔️ Battle: The Team vs Bravel, Kyrel, Faryx
Faryx attacked from the right while Bravel and Kyrel attacked from the left. Following Shinsei's order, Rai, Aya, and Kai went toward Bravel and Kyrel. Shinsei moved to confront Faryx. Faryx and Shinsei faced each other. Shinsei looked at Faryx carefully. His eyes widened. His breathing quickened. It seemed as if Shinsei knew Faryx very well. Faryx waited for Shinsei's next move. Suddenly, Shinsei regained his focus. He activated Fist of Harm.
Faryx said, "Wow! I thought I was the only one who fights with bare hands."
Shinsei said nothing, only smiled faintly.
Faryx attacked. Shinsei defended. They began exchanging punches. Each blow created shockwaves. Both were extremely skilled. Their fight made the air tremble. Sometimes punches, sometimes kicks, sometimes blocks. Faryx's every attack proved he was Zalvor's strongest Shadow warrior. Lightning from his blows struck Shinsei's body, momentarily stunning him and giving Faryx another chance to attack. On the other side, Shinsei fought with complete seriousness—something he had never done against any other Shadow warrior. It seemed like a personal matter to him. Every punch from him broke Faryx's bones and drew blood from his mouth. Faryx screamed in intense pain. Their battle continued for a long time. Suddenly, Shinsei's Fist of Harm turned from red to dark red aura. Meanwhile, Thunder waves surged across Faryx's entire body. Both struck each other's faces at the same time.
Boom!!
A massive shockwave sent both flying far away. Faryx crashed through eight walls of the school right beside Zalvor. But Zalvor showed no reaction. He calmly took a sip of tea. On the other side, Shinsei fell far away. He stood up slowly, wiping blood from his mouth. The burned parts of his face from Faryx's attack were healing. At that moment, Faryx rose into the sky using lightning. Dark clouds were clearly visible behind him.
Faryx shouted, "Shadow Thunder Rain!"
Suddenly, thousands of lightning bolts rained down from the clouds toward Shinsei. Shinsei calmly activated Fist of Absorb. With a single clap, he created a green shield in front of him. All of Faryx's lightning was absorbed into the shield. The impact was so strong that the veins in Shinsei's hands bulged. Once he had absorbed all the lightning, Shinsei created a lightning arrow in his hand. It was so powerful that the air around it distorted. He hurled it toward Faryx. Faryx tried to block it, but the arrow pierced his body and caused a massive explosion. Faryx was defeated. Shinsei walked over to him. Faryx lay unconscious. Shinsei's aura faded. He placed a hand on Faryx's head.
Shinsei said, "It saddens me that you still couldn't fulfill your wish." (After a pause) "I pray that one day you reach your goal."
Saying this, he returned to the battle.
Meanwhile, Kai was fighting Kyrel. Kyrel's ferocious attacks were terrifying enough to scare anyone, but Kai carefully blocked all of them and counterattacked. From the previous fight with Morvex, Kai's Shadow power had increased, giving him the advantage. But Kyrel gave him no chance, relentlessly attacking with his claws. His claws seemed to cut through the air. After some time, Kyrel began to tire. He realized he couldn't defeat Kai this way. On the other side, Kai's Shadow energy continued to grow. Suddenly, he transformed his swords into katana and attacked Kyrel at high speed. Kyrel tried to block with his claws but lacked the strength. Kai's katana pierced his body along with the claw. But Kyrel used the force of the attack to fly far away and crash into the ground. He stood up. He pulled out the claw and katana from his chest. Blood flowed continuously from his chest.
Yet he paid no attention to it. Kai was rushing toward him from above. Suddenly, dark clouds began to gather beside Kyrel.
Kyrel shouted, "Shadow Reflexion Cloud!!!"
Dark clouds instantly formed a domain. Kai was trapped inside. Blood from Kyrel's chest turned even darker and sprayed out. Still, a sharp smile remained on his face.
Kyrel said, "Shadow Thunder Wave."
He charged lightning into his claws and swung them through the air. Lightning erupted from his claws, bouncing off the Shadow Reflexion Cloud and returning into the domain. Hundreds of lightning lines darted throughout the domain. Kai blocked some with his katana, while others struck his body, creating wounds. Kai realized this couldn't continue. He stopped blocking. Hundreds of lightning bolts struck his body, but he remained standing.
Kai shouted, "Shadow Fountain!"
He slammed his katana into the ground. Shadow energy erupted like a fountain from the earth and struck Kyrel's body. Kyrel was blown away. His domain was destroyed. Kyrel was defeated.
Meanwhile, Aya and Rai were fighting Bravel. Bravel continuously repelled them, but his body was beginning to tremble with exhaustion. Still, he fought with his last strength. Every attack changed the flow of the air. On the other side, Aya and Rai were still not tired. They kept attacking Bravel with tonfas and axes. Suddenly, Rai swung his axe downward. The axe pierced Bravel's hand. Before Rai could pull it out, Bravel kicked him. The force of the kick sent Rai flying.
Bravel shouted, "Enough!"
He charged lightning into his hand and slammed it into the ground. The lightning wave struck Rai and Aya, paralyzing them for a moment. They screamed from the intensity. Bravel looked around. Kyrel lay defeated and unconscious. Faryx was nowhere to be seen. Bravel assumed he had also been defeated. He said to Zalvor,
"Sir! We have lost. Please stand up now."
Zalvor heard him but paid no attention. At that moment,
Rai shouted, "Diamond Storm."
Bravel turned around. Countless diamond-like objects flew toward him. Bravel failed to block them and was sent flying toward Zalvor's feet. Zalvor stood up. He held his two swords in one hand. There was no special expression on his face.
Zalvor said to Bravel, "Step aside."
Bravel quickly moved aside to make way. On the other side, Kai's group was also ready.
Red aura glowed in Shinsei's hands. Kai had entered his Shadow form. Shadow aura radiated from his body and danced in the air. Aya summoned her knives. Rai created a diamond shield around his body. Their eyes were fixed on Zalvor. The sky was completely black. Only the flashes of lightning were clearly visible. Shadow energy burned in the air like fire.
Zalvor said calmly, "Teaching time."
With that, he leaped and landed in front of Kai's group. They stepped back slightly. His footsteps created thunder waves. Kai attacked. Zalvor blocked Kai's katana with his swords and kicked him. At that moment, Shinsei's punch struck Zalvor. Zalvor was sent flying a short distance but quickly recovered and stood up. He saw Shinsei preparing to attack at high speed. It looked like a rain of punches. Zalvor lightly placed his two swords on the ground and moved away at lightning speed.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Shinsei's punches struck the ground. The earth rose. Aya summoned thousands of knives and hurled them toward Zalvor. Zalvor gripped his swords tightly and sliced the knives into pieces. Still, some struck his body. While cutting the knives, Rai attacked from above with his axe. Zalvor was sent flying. The attack pierced his helmet and struck his head. Zalvor stood up and searched for Rai, but he had disappeared into the smoke. Zalvor silently searched for him. At that moment, Rai appeared from behind and stabbed two axes into Zalvor's back. This time Zalvor understood. Blood flowed from his body. Yet he stood firm. He held two swords in one hand and kept the other empty. At that moment, Rai attacked again. But Zalvor placed his empty hand on the ground. Countless lightning rays burst from the earth and struck Rai's body. Rai was sent flying. He crashed into the ground. Blue, sharp lightning could be seen emerging from his body. His body seemed unable to move. At that moment,
Zalvor said, "Thunder Step."
At lightning speed, he rushed forward and struck Rai. He turned and struck again. He attacked from the right, then from the left. He repeated this many times. Rai's Diamond shield shattered, leaving him severely wounded. While breaking Rai's diamond shield, Zalvor's swords also cracked slightly. Before he could continue, Kai and Shinsei stopped him. They attacked him relentlessly. Zalvor countered. Suddenly, Shinsei's red aura turned dark red, and Kai used Shadow Slash. A massive surge of power flowed between them. The two attacked Zalvor from both sides. Zalvor tried to block with his two swords, but both swords shattered. A massive explosion occurred. Zalvor was left severely wounded. He was sent flying far away. When he stood up, thousands of knives rained down on him. Many knives pierced through his armor. Zalvor tried to calm himself.
Zalvor said, "Shadow… Thunder Aero."
Hundreds of electric arrows shot out from his side and blocked the knives. Meanwhile, Kai and Shinsei attacked him again.
Zalvor shouted, "Thunder Explosion."
A massive lightning explosion sent Kai, Shinsei, and Aya flying. Despite his severely wounded body, Zalvor advanced. He reformed his weapons with Shadow energy. A purple lightning glow appeared on his weapons. First, he went toward Kai. He swung both swords. Kai blocked one with his katana, but the other struck his body. The purple lightning entered Kai's body. Then Zalvor went toward Shinsei. He tried to stab both swords into Shinsei's chest, but Shinsei grabbed them. Zalvor kicked him. Lightning also entered Shinsei's body. Meanwhile, Aya was healing Rai when Zalvor's Shadow wave struck them, sending lightning into their bodies too. Zalvor then focused on healing. He removed his broken armor, revealing hundreds of wounds on his body. When Kai's group tried to attack him, he easily blocked them. It seemed their power had decreased. This was due to the purple lightning. Despite their best efforts, they couldn't land another blow on Zalvor. Zalvor healed completely. The purple lightning also disappeared. Now Kai attacked with full force again. At that moment,
Lightning flashed in Zalvor's eyes. He rose into the air. A blue sphere rotated around him. Suddenly, hundreds of lightning bolts rained down across the entire area. The force of the lightning destroyed Zalvor's school. Craters formed in the ground. Kai, Aya, Shinsei, and Rai fell under the lightning. Blood flowed from their bodies and evaporated into steam. The lightning fell so fast that they couldn't even stand.
Aya said weakly, "We… have to… do something. At this rate… we will… lose."
Shinsei looked around and said, "Rai, Aya… quickly shoot Knives and Diamond into the sky."
With great difficulty, Aya and Rai used their abilities—Diamond Storm and Knives Shoot. These struck Zalvor's lightning bolts and changed their direction.
Shinsei shouted, "Kai, now!!!"
Kai stood up quickly.
He spun his katana. His eyes turned black. Dense Shadow energy flowed from his hand and merged with the katana.
Kai roared, "DRAGON FROM THE SHADOW!"
A massive Shadow dragon-shaped energy shot out from Kai's katana toward Zalvor. It merged with the lightning, creating an unstoppable combination. Zalvor's massive attack struck the ground. At that moment, Shinsei created a blue aura in his hand and struck Zalvor. Zalvor's bones shattered. Zalvor tried to stand up again. But at that moment, Aya's Knives Blast and Diamond Storm combined and struck Zalvor. Zalvor barely blocked it with Thunder Shield. At that moment,
Kai shouted, "Shadow Sagitta!!"
Hundreds of sharp Shadow arrows riddled Zalvor's body. Zalvor fell. The clouds in the sky began to clear. Kai thought he had won. But Zalvor stood up again. Kai's group was now shocked and afraid. But the next moment, he knelt down.
Zalvor said, "Your morale, teamwork, and strength have impressed me." (He took out the key to the next gate and placed it on the ground.) "You are worthy. Take it."
Saying this, he fell unconscious.
But Kai's group was now afraid of him.
Shinsei sighed and said, "Go, take the key."
Rai said fearfully, "No way. This must be a trap. I don't want to be a victim."
Shinsei said, "I told you to go!"
Rai replied, "Alright… I'm going."
He went fearfully. His legs were still in pain.
Rai muttered at the key, "Please don't get up. Please don't get up."
As soon as the key was in his hand, he ran away.
Kai said, "I never thought I would hear such words from an enemy."
Shinsei said, "Wise people respect even their enemies. This is not unusual."
Aya sighed and said, "Let's go. We have to move."
