Hong, standing at the opposite end with his Light Spear Twin Blades, nodded calmly in agreement. His demeanor remained serene, as still as a calm lake.
Without another word, Thor launched the first attack. He took a sudden step forward, raising the Thunder Blade high above his head. "Thunder Slash!"
A blue arc of lightning shot from the blade's tip, coiling like a furious blue dragon, aimed straight at Hong's chest. The strike was swift and potent, though clearly not at full power.
Hong didn't dodge. He raised his right hand and whispered, "Light Barrier."
A transparent shield composed of pure light materialized before him. The electric arc slammed into it, exploding into blinding blue-white sparks accompanied by a deafening crackle. The strike's energy was fully absorbed by the barrier, dispersing into countless tiny particles that faded into the air.
"Impressive for a Light Law technique," Thor commented, nodding in approval. "Its resistance to energy attacks is incredible. But this is only a warm-up!"
He tightened his grip on the blade, and the electric glow intensified. "Thunder Domain, Third Level!"
With a roar of thunder that seemed to shake the room, a five-meter-diameter blue energy field enveloped Thor. Lightning currents crackled and surged, the air filled with a piercing electric hiss, and the metal components of the floor trembled under the electromagnetic force.
