Nina was walking in the night. Led by Pojay and Seed the night was calm but all of the sudden there were shouting .
"ahhh. It burns." Seed said
Pojay whispered looking at Seed "calm yourself do You want the creatures of the night to hear us?"
"yeah, what is all that shouting for." Nina asked
"what no you don't understand. the UV lights is burning my skin. I feel like it's itching, and I cannot
withstand it." Seed replied in pain .
"What are you talking about?" Pojay said.
pojay got closer to his brother to comfort him. Pojay didn't realize that his UV light is hitting Seed's body as he is got closer .
And then another scream was heard. "Ow! Get away from me the UV light is painful?"
"Seed calm down it's ok" Pojay said as he turned off his UV lights.
Seed calmed down after Pojay placed his warm hand on Seed's shoulder and told him
"Don't worry, I'm here, don't worry."
"What are you doing? The creatures of the night can come up and attack us. Turn on your UV lights." Nina said shocked by what she is seeing
"it's fine" Pojay replied.
"Hey brother, you must get a hold of yourself. I'm afraid that you will lose yourself in this madness."
Pojay continued taking Seed slightly
"You may address it as a weakness or not but if it's our will, who dares to stop us? Get a hold of yourself."
Pojay Words has changed something inside Seed, like some sort of will to become even stronger. What sort of will that Seed wants is to overcome his weakness and become stronger or to only survive and die like a coward
Seed looked directly at Pojay's eyes, calming down his heart rate
not saying a single word, Seed just nodded his head and continued walking and after an hour or so of continuous hiding in the shadow and being quiet and not trying to be really conversational, Seed asked a greedy question.
"How much farther is it? Nina's home I mean."
Nina locked her gaze on Seed and said surprisingly:
"about a 10-minute walk from here."
Seed stopped and looked at Pojay, waving his hand, thinking of the will that Pojay told him about. He said the next words.
"okay, then it's time for practice. Pojay, hold still"
Pojay didn't like the idea of him being the guinea pig, but he's the oldest brother and he must endure this responsibility, so he stopped, looked at Seed, and waited.
Seed closed his eyes and touched Pojay's shadow, and felt something. He felt a small wave of aura. He grabbed the gasp of it and started to shape it around Pojay's body. And then saying the effects of what he did.
"Here, now, if you're even one inch close to the creature of the night, they won't even recognize you."
Pojay was surprised." Is that what he did to Nina's body, when she was unconscious on the ground? I feel lightweight. Like I'm fast." pojay thought
"now if the system is right. I can hold shadow control for 18 minutes." seed thought.
And as they walk, Seed's MC starts to drop for every one minute.
They saw a city as they ventured in at night. And everywhere was lit in by UV lights to protect the city borders
Seed said " I can't enter this. My skin will burn."
"Technically, it's not burning seed, it's itching. Just endure the pain until we go in." Nina said
" fine I will Nina .endure What does she think of me? A tank? "seed murmured the last words
They entered the city, and Seed dropped shadow control of Pojay's body.
Seed was tired, panting, and started to sweat in the cold night like he's a walking zombie.
"Are we close yet?" Seed said in a tiring tone.
"yeah, just down the block." Nina said.
When they reached Nina's home, that looked luxurious compared to Pojay and Seed's home.
Nina was a B-rank healer, although she was weak, but her healing ability is formidable.
Her house had a medium sized garden. And housed a black cat .
Seed saw the cat and he wants to get close to it. So I can pet it.
"Aww, he's a fluffy boy." Seed said
the cat started to do a hissing sound, bearing her fangs, ready to jump on Seed's hand and bite and scratch.
Seed realize that so he was getting away from the cat saying, "Bad kitty, bad kitty!"
Nina showed their brothers the room that they're going to stay in and ordered the maid to gather for them clean clothes.
"If anything, you guys need, just ring that bell, and the maid will come. Now I will be taking my leave." Nina said as she was leaving the room,
the boys were alone in the room. Seed jumped on a bed before taking a shower or taking off his clothes.
Seed Looked at Pojay and said in an ominous tone. "you never tell me about this, Nina. How did you meet her? How did you know her?"
Pojay said "First, You get up and take a shower second of all, it's none of your business"
Seed said in a mocking voice. "Ah, fine. Who cares anyways about your life? It's your life after all, and you want some spice to it."
Pojay said angrily. "Okay, then get up from the bed and go take your shower old man."
Seed said "Hey, I want you to remember I'm the one who saved you from the intermediate beast. I'm not weak anymore. Don't call me old man."
Pojay pointed to his chest and opened his mouth, saying the next words in a proud tone
"Well, I'm your older brother, so I can do whatever the heck I want."
seed said " fine, dick."
Pojay said "what did you just say?"
Seed replied "nothing."
in the bathroom sink, Seed was washing his hands from the blood. When he looked at the mirror. "What happened to me? Why am I here? Why is this system in my head? "
He looked closer and started to think of the problems that he will face.
"Now I can't walk into the sunlight like a normal person, I can't even walk the city at night because of the UV lights. Am I a normal human anymore?" He wondered.
That system message pop-up. When I was in the city for too long in the UV light.
It stated:
"you have been in direct UV light for too long. All of your stats will be half"
"Maybe I can work with this" Seed thought "because of the military school I need to appear weak. There's no kids in my age. That can defeat an intermediate beast. An intermediate shadow beast to be at it. "
Seed closed his eyes and then said, "Get a hold of yourself, you can do it."
Seed took a shower and put on new clothes and went out of the bathroom.
"I need a solution, and quickly. But all I can think of is resting." Seed stated.
He yawned and went to bed, closed his eyes.
Darkness. Darkness is all that he sees. And the same dead figure was in front of him. From his nightmare.
"You're alive, good." The figure said
Seed was terrified. He was traumatized from the pain of the last dream, and he was not ready for more pain. He closed his eyes again, hoping that he would wake up.
"Where do you think you're going with your consciousness? I will be the one dismissing you when I want, "the figure said.
