Monday, 8:00 a.m.
There was still an hour left before the Hokage succession ceremony, yet the plaza in front of the Hokage Building was already packed.
Villagers and shinobi alike filled the square.
The Konoha Police Force was in charge of maintaining order during the ceremony.
Sasuke stood in the crowd and glanced to his left.
Two familiar figures stood there.
Fugaku and Itachi.
To ensure nothing went wrong during the Hokage succession ceremony, the two of them were personally leading the unit.
"Sasuke-kun!"
Sakura's voice called out from the distance as she hurried toward him.
Sasuke pulled his gaze back and looked over.
Standing with Sakura were her two teammates, Shino and Chino.
"Sakura! Shino! Chino!"
Naruto shouted, waving energetically.
Hinata snapped out of her thoughts and hurriedly greeted them as well.
She had been staring toward the Hokage Building—more accurately, searching for Kitazawa.
But since it wasn't yet nine o'clock, he hadn't appeared.
"Good morning," Shino Aburame said evenly.
"Haven't the other teams arrived yet?" Chino asked, glancing around.
Ever since graduation, everyone had been acting in three-man squads.
Even in their day-to-day lives, they mostly trained with their own teammates.
"The great me has arrived!"
Kiba came charging over with Akamaru at his heels.
Behind him, Yakumo and Karin followed at a more leisurely pace.
"Kiba, long time no see!"
Naruto squatted down to vigorously rub Akamaru's head.
"Naruto, guess what kind of mission we had this week?"
Kiba asked mysteriously.
"What mission?"
Naruto straightened up and said with some regret, "We didn't have any missions this week. We were just training."
"We went to shoot a movie with Kurenai-sensei!"
Kiba announced proudly.
"Shoot a movie?"
Naruto's eyes went wide. "There's a mission like that?"
"What movie?"
Ino walked over and joined the conversation.
"It's a biographical film about the First Hokage-sama," Kiba explained simply.
"For publicity?" Shikamaru asked, sounding thoughtful.
"Exactly."
Kiba nodded. "It's to spread the story of the First Hokage-sama's achievements."
"I'm going to star in a biographical movie too one day!"
Naruto instantly got fired up, giving a firm thumbs up. "By then, the whole ninja world will know about my Way of Youth!"
"Then you'll have to become Hokage first, " Shikamaru reminded him.
"Maybe Sasuke-kun will be first…"
Sakura started to say, but Sasuke cut her off.
"It's still too early to talk about that," Sasuke said calmly. "With Kitazawa-sensei's age, it'll probably be a long time before the next generation of Hokage is needed."
"That's true," Ino agreed.
"Kurenai-sensei is in charge of the Film and Television Department. So far, they've only filmed the First Hokage-sama's biography"
Kiba added with a grin. "Maybe one day they'll even make a biographical movie about our genius class."
"That's only if we all become famous." Tenten said as she walked up with Neji and Shion.
"It's fine."
Shion waved her small hand dismissively. "If you want to make a movie, that's easy. I'll just pay for a film crew myself."
As the Priestess of the Land of Demons, she commanded the wealth of a nation; funding a movie was nothing to her.
"You still need fame, " Tenten shook her head. "Without it, no one will buy tickets for your movie."
"Sasuke-kun is already really famous!" Sakura said proudly.
"Sasuke, Naruto, and Hinata are all really famous. They've already been acknowledged as the new Konoha Sannin" Kiba said enviously.
"With your strength, all of you will become famous sooner or later." Kosuke said with a chuckle as he approached.
"Kosuke-sensei!"
Naruto and the others greeted him together.
Meanwhile, in the Hokage's office—
Tsunade was sprawled across the Hokage's desk.
Her sleeveless top was pressed tightly against the wood, its fabric pulled into distorted curves.
Her tea-green haori, emblazoned with the kanji for "Gamble," and her dark blue trousers were discarded on the floor.
She stood on tiptoe, pale legs held perfectly straight—
But from the hips, her body bent sharply at a ninety-degree angle.
To put it simply, she and kitazawa were having sex against the Hokage's desk.
Kitazawa held Tsunade firmly by the waist with both hands, his chin resting against her rounded shoulder.
Tsunade's face was flushed, her eyes slightly unfocused as they flicked toward the door every so often.
She was terrified someone would knock—or worse, just push the door open.
If that happened, her reputation for the rest of her life would be ruined.
Thinking of that, Tsunade turned her head and shot Kitazawa a fierce glare.
She had rushed over early in the morning for the Hokage handover, only for it to turn into… this kind of handover.
Kitazawa didn't sense any threat in her stare at all. If anything, he only found her even more alluring.
Unable to resist, he lifted his hand and gave her ass a smack, the soft flesh trembling under his palm.
Tsunade let out a muffled groan, her eyes rolling back slightly.
Kitazawa only pulled her in tighter.
Their bodies were practically fused together, sweat mingling between them.
"Ha… how much time is left?"
Tsunade bit her lip as she asked.
"Fifteen minutes."
Kitazawa glanced at the clock on the wall.
"To… today is your Hokage inauguration ceremony." Tsunade panted, reminding him, "Don't be late."
"That depends on how hard Tsunade-sensei works."
Kitazawa winked as he spoke.
Tsunade's face immediately sank.
She stopped holding back and used her monstrous strength.
Kitazawa's pupils shrank slightly.
He flipped Tsunade over and buried his face in her warm chest.
Seeing this, Tsunade's lips curled upward; she felt as if she had seized the upper hand.
But a moment later, Kitazawa launched a counterattack, and in the end, the two of them were left completely exhausted.
A knock sounded at the door.
"It's about time, Kitazawa."
Shizune's voice came from outside as she called out a reminder.
Tsunade drew in a deep breath and activated her Yin Seal, adjusting her fatigued body.
Fortunately, she had the Yin Seal. Otherwise, if she walked out with her face that flushed, everyone would definitely start to suspect something.
Kitazawa looked at her, smiled, then leisurely slipped on the Hokage robe.
His stamina was terrifying—after an hour of activity, he didn't feel tired at all.
He walked to the door and opened it.
"Lady Tsunade, you're here too?"
Shizune was clearly startled to see Tsunade inside.
"I was handing over work to Kitazawa."
Tsunade's expression remained perfectly calm. "Let's go; don't keep everyone waiting."
Kitazawa closed the door behind them and walked alongside the two women toward the roof of the Hokage Building.
"Nervous?"
Tsunade glanced sideways at Kitazawa.
"What's there to be nervous about?" Kitazawa replied lightly.
"True."
Tsunade's lips twitched.
Someone who could drag her into the Hokage's office to waste time right before the ceremony clearly wasn't the nervous type.
The three soon arrived on the rooftop of the Hokage Building.
The shinobi and villagers gathered there erupted into cheers the moment they appeared.
"Kitazawa-sensei!"
Naruto, Kiba, and the others jumped up, waving enthusiastically at him.
Seeing them, Kitazawa couldn't help but smile.
"Sorry to trouble you, Daimyo-sama."
Tsunade walked up to the Daimyo of the Land of Fire.
"I didn't expect you to retire so soon," the Daimyo said with a smile.
"Kitazawa is my student. He's even more outstanding than I am," Tsunade replied. "There's no need for me to cling to this position any longer."
"Then let us begin."
The Daimyo of the Land of Fire turned to face the crowd below and raised his voice. "I hereby announce Kitazawa as the Sixth Hokage of Konohagakure!"
"Kitazawa."
Tsunade picked up the Hokage hat, smiled, and said, "You're not allowed to assign me any more work after I retire."
"Tsunade-sensei."
Kitazawa couldn't help retorting, "Is this really the time to be saying that?"
"What else is there to say?"
Tsunade fell silent for a moment, then spoke softly. "I'm leaving Konoha to you from now on. Don't let everyone down."
"I'll work hard."
Kitazawa took the Hokage hat from her and set it on his head.
He stepped up to the railing overlooking the village and began his first speech as Hokage.
Tsunade stood a short distance behind him, watching his back, her expression a little dazed.
Her student becoming Hokage filled her with pride.
But when she thought of the special relationship between them, the feeling became difficult to put into words.
Even so, she was very satisfied with her life now.
Kitazawa didn't speak for long.
There wasn't much that needed to be said.
After about half an hour, he announced the end of the Hokage inauguration ceremony.
"From today on, we're the Hokage's students!" Kiba said excitedly.
"If you put it that way, weren't we already the Third Hokage's students?" Shikamaru countered, shaking his head.
Strictly speaking, only Naruto, Sasuke, and Hinata were officially the Hokage's students.
However, the Genius Class were a special case, so they could be considered the Hokage's students as well.
"Then we're students of both the Third Hokage and the Sixth Hokage!" Kiba said shamelessly.
"Kiba's right!" Naruto gave a thumbs-up. "To celebrate becoming the Hokage's students, let's go do three hundred extra laps of training!"
"Why would we train on such a good day?" Ino quickly stopped him. "We should treat Kitazawa-sensei to a meal!"
"True!" Naruto's eyes lit up. "Then let's go eat at Ichiraku Ramen!"
"Ichiraku Ramen isn't appropriate," Sasuke said. "Let's go eat barbecue."
"I agree!" Sakura said immediately.
"I want to eat barbecue too!" Akimichi Choji chimed in excitedly.
"Then who's going to invite Kitazawa-sensei?" Tenten glanced around the group.
"I'll go!" Ino raised her hand at once.
"I…" Hinata had just opened her mouth when Ino beat her to it. She fell silent, fingers tightening on the hem of her jacket.
"Then you and Hinata go together," Shikamaru decided after looking around.
"Okay." Ino nodded.
Hinata let out a small breath of relief, and her face brightened.
Hokage Office.
"Shizune, spread the word: there will be a jonin meeting tomorrow morning at nine," Kitazawa said, seated in the Hokage's chair.
"Understood." Shizune nodded and turned to leave.
As for Tsunade, she had disappeared right after the ceremony—probably afraid someone would try to drag her back to work.
The door closed.
Kitazawa stretched.
He had technically been Hokage for a week already, so aside from today's formal ceremony, nothing really felt different.
"Kitazawa-sensei!" Ino's cheerful voice rang out from outside.
"Come in," Kitazawa replied with a chuckle.
Ino and Hinata stepped into the office.
"What do you need from me?" Kitazawa asked.
"Kitazawa-sensei, we want to treat you to barbecue!" Ino rushed forward, grabbed his arm, and said, "You have to come!"
Watching this, Hinata couldn't help feeling a little envious.
"Then let's go," Kitazawa said, lightly flicking Ino on the forehead.
"Yay!" Ino let go of his arm, her face bursting into a bright smile.
