For quite a long time after he finished saying everything he has to say the place was completely silent, the kind of silence that could kill if given an opportunity .
Even though the leader, their family head explained that those who died were seeking their own death by creating difficulties for me, the facts still stands .
I killed some of their family members and now I even defeated their family head, the strongest figure the family had and even asking them to be the closest thing to slaves for us in the Dorell family from now on, so of course they would be angry .
But they weren't just angry, they were vengeful, their eyes, looks, even their cold expressions reeked of killing intent and the lust for blood, my blood, if not for the fact that Levan already lost to me was quite a huge deterrent, I wouldn't have even the slightest doubt about them making a move already .
But there was no ifs in this world or any world now that I thought more about it, they were scared to make a move, so the only thing that they currently are capable of doing is to keep staring at me threateningly .
I not caring in the slightest about their feelings and thoughts would have kept pretending that I didn't sense their intentions and attitude at all, I left Levan to deal with that, but I didn't expect that the latter own way to deal with that was slightly a little bit special, that's the least that I can say about it .
Looking towards him and him being quite perceptive, he was able to understand my intention clearly, I wanted him to hurry up and wrap things here up quickly, so that we can take the next step and discuss the terms, which this relationship would be based on from here on out .
The guy's Mana flared up quite strongly, the moment he did this, a huge amount of pressure was being exerted all of a sudden on all of the people present, forcing them to willingly or unwillingly kneel down and without wasting another second, he said something that I didn't expect .
He said that this pressure of his was many times weaker than the pressure I can exert, in fact his pressure was only one tenth of my pressure in his own words and that today they in the family still have a chance to make a decision, here and now, either surrender to someone who was much stronger than them, or succumb to the circumstances and accept being the Dorell family's subordinates .
After he finished saying this he sent me a message telepathically, telling me that it was the time for me to come up on stage and perform, I didn't understand what he was trying to say or do by that, but then I saw him remove his pressure and stand there looking at me with bloodshot eyes .
I first thought that he might have gone crazy or something like that and that he really decided to fight me to death, but then I finally understood what he was trying to do, people from the Levern Family wasn't even looking at their family head, but they were staring at me with shock, wariness and confusion, there was a sense of disbelief and curiosity .
I was finally able to understand what he meant by giving a good perform and taking the stage, I not wanting to waste his efforts, decided that since it might help me wrap things up here, I decided to play along and directly transformed into my Demon Form .
It was no surprise for those people that I was transforming, they had seen it before or at least part of it, but now this was my complete Demon Form, the one which I awakened as a Demon in, once they saw the sheer size of me who was now towering over them and overlooking all of them and seeing them as nothing but mere ants, they panicked .
I was able to hear the sound of swallowed saliva, they were gulping out of shock and fear, but their nightmare had only started, after making sure not to target the kids, I unleashed my killing intent and with it the pressure of my physical strength began to engulf all of them .
The ground beneath these guys shattered instantly as they were suddenly crashing their knees into the ground, it was merely used for a few seconds, but all the people present had actually suffered more or less the same degree of injuries .
Bruises, cuts and some even had begun to bleed out from all their orifices, the scene was quite horrendous, but it was necessary, seeing them like this I decided that I have done more than enough to convince these guys and directly stopped exerting any more pressure on them .
But even with the pressure that forced them to kneel had completely dissipated, they were still unable to rise up, they kept kneeling on the floor and looking at me with eyes filled with nothing but complete awe and madness, seeing these unfocused eyes, I began to fight the urge to puke .
Luckily, I steeled my heart and forced myself to continue my act, saying faintly :

After I said this I saw that a black luxurious chair, even better than the one that the King have in the castle probably began to appear behind me, it wasn't that difficult to grasp who had conjured it for me .
I sat down on the chair and put one leg on top of the other, trying to make the scene stimulating as much as possible, I wasn't sure that this would help much, due to the fact that the people who we needed to empress were completely out of it currently .
They kept staring at me and I was doing the same, then seeing that they wasn't making any kind of moves, I decided to entice them into making any kind of moves, I was about to transform again to my Demon Form, but just as I was about to do so, I began to hear a faint voice saying :
We...we... surrender, please be merciful .
The cry was faint at first, but after the first person took the lead, these words began to sound from all the people present, a bit shakily at first, but after a while, these words kept being uttered more and more by the people present until there wasn't not a single person who dare not to say them .
Seeing them becoming more and more docile and submissive like this, I couldn't help but wonder if I hadn't appeared to maybe delay the invasion of the Demons a little, would every household and human being get forced to surrender like this .
Recalling what I knew about that Demon Emperor, I concluded that the matters might have even turned worse for the humans, after all, to the Demon Emperor humans here and as per his own strange words are nothing but cattle that is waiting to be slaughtered by either their hands, the other races, or even the Shard's Will .
So even the slightest bit of dissatisfaction that I should have witnessing this scene in front of me was non-existent, all that was I feeling was a sense of accomplishment, I had taken the first step in the plan I had devised to gain control over this city and this Demon Kingdom .
I came here with the intention of raising this place to the ground and by doing so, I would have been able to force the King into making a move, either to take revenge on me for the sake of his relationship with the Levern or helping some of them to escape my onslaught and even promise to give them justice .
Either way he would be forced to make some moves, but now, now things have become different, while on the road I thought about the fact that I overlooked something, destroying the Levern might have more severe consequences than I first thought, it might make the other families wary of me .
They will become more and more cautious with how they dealt with me, some might even reconsider our partnership, thinking that they might end up sharing the same fate as the Levern Family, so instead of eradicating it completely, I decided that it was better to do as what I said I would do in front of the king .
Absorb the Levern Family and integrate it with the Dorell family, with the latter holding the leash over the first, looking at how the situation have turned out to be, I can say that the first step of my plan was indeed a success .
So instead of relinquishing their status as one of the 13 Founding Families, I'm planning on making the best of it to benefit my case the most, as for the main family behind them in the Real World, well I will think of a solution when such a situation rise later, not to mention whether there would be someone from there coming here, sooner or later I believe that I would be the one heading there after getting work here done .
Not saying anything in response to them willingly surrendering to me, I instead motioned for Levan to make them disperse, even though I now had full authority to deal with them in whatever way I want, I still found him giving the orders to be still the best for now, it also was more beneficial that way .
After he saw through my thoughts, he directly asked everyone to go back to their work and that there would be a meeting later, in that meeting he will be telling them about the arrangements and the terms between our two families from now on .
Even though I could see that some were still a bit reluctant to do as they were told and others were just still completely in a state of shock, thinking that this might be a nightmare or an illusion, but in the end with the help of some still sane members of the family, people began to retreat into their homes .
Soon I was led to the main family mansion where Levan lived and ruled, the place was quite extravagant from the outside, if not for the weird decorations that made it look a bit haunting, it would be even more proper than the Dorell family's mansion .
Fay and Tay were soon following the two of us, the first was silent all the way, but Tay on the other hand was quite talkative, first thing she mentioned was regarding the fabulous act of Levan just now and she kept praising both me and him for it .
Her tone become a bit dangerous as she said :
Family Head Levan will need to keep an eye on his family members, some might have believed what you said earlier about master's actions being justified, but I can tell that most of them still harbour some dangerous thoughts regarding this .
Levan stopped in tracks, but in fact he stopped because I stopped, I couldn't help but turn toward Tay and become quite bewildered, wondering when did I became that girl Master .
Levan wasn't the only one that has quite the keen insight, Tay seeing my reaction, she bowed down and said :
We two sisters could be said to have been only granted this position because of our queen mother, but we hope that Master can allow us to follow him from now on, we will do whatever you wished us to, even if it killed us .
I hearing her thoughts couldn't help but turn towards the eldest of the two Fay and saw that even though she seemed quite embarrassed and was evading my stare unlike Tay, but Fay's resolve was still clear from her joining her sister in bowing down to me .
Seeing them like this, I was at loss of words for some time, but soon I told them to rise up and even though I didn't think that they would be that much of help to me, I still noded and agreed for them to follow me .
The two cheered slightly and then the stern voice of Levan sounded behind us, forcing the joyful scene to dissipate instantly, he said :
Lady Tay doesn't need to worry much about this, even though things were indeed as you said, but us in the Levern Family still abide by the law of the Demon race and unless we have the strength to go against the master, then we would accept that we lost fair and square .
You could probably able to tell that after the Master revealed some of his strength, most of these thoughts were suppressed, as for those who are still unconvinced, then I hereby promise to deal with them if they dare to create any sort of problem .
I nodded at his words and Tay seeing me nodding, she didn't say anything else just nodded as well, as for Fey, she seemed to be engrossed in thought, as for what was she thinking only she knew .
I reached the meeting Hall accompanied by Levan and the two girls, I sat on the chair at the head of the table, regardless of how Levan felt about me doing this, they stayed standing in front of me, I remembered what happened before in the Royal Palace and directly gave them the permission to sit down .
Then directly began to tell Levan about how will the relationship between the two family go from now on and the arrangements to keep this relationship beneficial for the two sides, he was taken aback slightly by this, he also stated that he didn't think that this was the kind of relationship I will be nurturing .
I told him that the Levan family would still follow the lead of the Dorell family in any decision-making situation, advance and retreat together and if their was an attack on one, the other would do all its best to help .
He was thinking that we will be ruling them from now on, but I corrected him saying that they will be ruling themselves under our direct orders, one of the arrangements was related to the distribution of resources, Mana Stones Mines, Mana Stones .
It was decided that the Dorell family will be managing the mines and responsible for the distribution of resources from now on, I told him after seeing his frown that I would still let the Levern Family benefit, so there was no need to fret much over this .
Then after finalizing the agreement came the question that I already anticipated, he asked if there would be a need to spread the news regarding this happening, I completely let deciding what to do with this matter up to him, he paused slightly and looked at me deeply then said :
