Chapter 5 - Conquering part 1

As he stepped through the shimmering portal, it closed behind him, revealing a vast landscape dominated by an enormous flax army looming in the distance. I had just retreated, my gaze fixed on the alien figure. He looked up at the crimson sun hanging low in the sky, its fiery glow casting an eerie light.

"You don't seem to understand—Earth isn't yours to conquer," I said, smirking with confidence. I had always wanted to deliver that line. Turning to the alien, whose face bore a scar from a previous encounter with an invincible opponent, I grabbed him by the jaw. I dragged him through collapsing buildings, crushing debris and debris as I moved. Eventually, only bloodstains and his ruined costume remained of him.

"I suppose it's time to test what I can really do," I mused, a grin playing on my lips as I soared toward a densely populated city district.

"Dismantle," I shouted, unleashing my full power. The explosion tore through the immediate vicinity, shattering windows, crushing structures, and sending debris flying. I roamed above, obliterating buildings and scattering fleeing civilians. My eyes caught sight of a space station insignia amid the chaos—an easy target. I ascended to the highest point I could reach before activating dismantle again, reducing the station to rubble.

"This is going to be incredibly fun," I said, lying back as the flexions, my personal synthetic army, waited for me. I decided to adapt this time by shutting off Infinity, allowing the allowing their weapons to hit me the as I kept fighting. Gradually, the pain dulled until I felt nothing thanks to my adaptation.

"Congratulations—you've officially messed up," I declared, blitzing into the remaining foes, ending most of them before they could even react.

As more enemies emerged, I decided to test a new ability.

"Domain Expansion: Infinite Void," I smirked, overwhelming their perceptions with immense knowledge, causing their brains to overload and them to dissolve instantly.

Turning to the side, more assailants advanced.

"Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shine," I commanded at the attack, let loose all the enemies in this way as they were sliced into pieces The attack was so precise that even the blood was absent.

I continued fighting, and soon it felt as if the whole army was ours. The sun began to set on this world, casting long shadows over the battlefield, where I sat atop bodies—indistinguishable now, their identities erased.

"Okay, I think it won't try and attack me Until they develop something that can hurt me," he said, sensing the need for a new base of operations. I descended, scanning for an unoccupied spot. Remembering the location of my dismantling point earlier, I flew back toward it, finding several civilians caught in the crossfire—victims of this chaos.

Approaching one of them cautiously, they flinched as I neared. I reached out, synchronizing with their mind to understand their language.

"You understand me now? Nod if yes," I asked. They all nodded, eyes wide.

"Good. Here's what I need from you: build my personal citadel. I will protect you because I know why you invaded other dimensions—the royal family is greedy and power-hungry. Serve loyally, and you will be rewarded." I explained. After a moment of deliberation, they realized they had no choice, and started constructing my citadel. Gathering materials was easy; the hardest part was the slow process of trust-building, but eventually, they saw I meant no true harm and proved I was not evil.

Years passed, and my citadel, a towering twenty-story structure with a five-meter interior walkway, was complete. The first floor served as an entry lobby, where a secretary handled all administrative tasks. She carried herself like a regal queen, exuding entitled authority. The second floor housed the weapons arsenal, filled with advanced armaments to test my durability. The next ten floors contained living quarters—areas for playing video games, dining, and even a swimming pool. The topmost floor was my private laboratory, spanning an entire level for experimentation and invention. beyond that lay the throne room, with a door leading to my private bedroom.

Outside, the town had been built with reinforced steel walls for protection. Its layout resembled a small city, with houses and streets where residents greeted me respectfully as I passed.

Determined to help elevate their society, I learned everything about them and introduced new foods, cuisines, and technologies unfamiliar to them. Some resisted at first, but eventually, most accepted the new ways.

Realizing the need for more advanced technology, I trained them to venture out and find it. During one such expedition, they returned heavily injured.

"What happened?" I asked as I entered the hospital, where medics struggled with imperfect technology. I activated my reverse cursed technique, healing their missing limbs and organs. Turning to the captain, I listened as he explained.

"While scavenging the ruins, we were ambushed by members of the royal family's guard They demanded our technology, and when we refused, they attacked us, took what they wanted, and left us battered," he said, expecting punishment.

"I understand. I'll handle this. Rest up," I said, cracking my knuckles—the thrill of real combat had been missing for too long.

The captain looked at me in surprise before asking, "My king, will you punish me for failing?"

"Why would I do that? You tried your best—that's all that matters. Losing some technology is manageable. Hurting my people is another matter," I replied, making it clear that while I tolerated loss of equipment, harm to my allies was unacceptable.

"Thank you, my Lord, for your kindness," he said, genuinely surprised. In the past, whether under the rule of the royal family, or as a child, they had never experienced true compassion. Their families had been treated terribly, working to exhaustion under the heel of the royal family.

Serving someone who truly cared for them filled them with joy. They were willing to do anything to please me.

I teleported out of the city to the trail I had been following, trying to outrun the royal family. Eventually, I arrived at their lavish palace—at least fifty stories high, surrounded by a massive wall armed with powerful laser guns, with guards patroling.

"Fire!" ordered a guard, and gunfire erupted. I didn't bother activating Infinity, knowing their shots would only make me tougher. I walked through their barrage as if it were a gentle breeze. Suddenly, a figure landed in front of me, kicking up dust—a tall flaxen-haired warrior in highly advanced battle armor with a flowing cape.

"Why have you come here, destroyer?" he asked.

"Just here for a chat with the king, queen, and their daughter," I replied calmly.

"I can't allow that. The princess is to be my bride—making me the future king—and you won't harm them," he declared, stepping closer.

"Do you have Black Flash?" I asked, his confusion evident. Before he could react, I appeared in front of him, landing a punch into his stomach with Black Flash, sending him crashing through the wall into the courtyard.

"That's Black Flash," I said, walking across the courtyard as guards emerged, weapons ready.

"Surrender—you are outnumbered," threatened the flaxen general.

He let out a loud laugh, mocking their bravado. Their weapons were mediocre; their numbers wouldn't scratch him.

"You don't remember what happened a few years ago? Let me remind you," I said, conjuring my blood manipulation to summon spears of blood that tore through the army, killing everyone instantly. Only I, the flaxen warrior in his advanced armor, and the guards on the balcony above remained in shock.

"Now, shall we continue our fight?" I asked, ready for anything.

He tapped something on his wrist. His armor shifted from gray-brown to black as booster jets fired. He lunged at me, attempting a punch. I let him think I was letting my guard down. When he punched, I was caught off guard—flying backward.

He appeared a few meters away.

"Like that, destroyer? Our new armor was designed specifically to defeat you," he said, pride in his voice.

(That punch hurt—means I need to adapt again), I thought, a manic smile spreading across my face.
