Xerath realized that Gara was beginning to suspect him. The problem was that he wanted to become even closer to Gara. For now, he could only wait for another chance.
Since it was Saturday, Xerath headed home carrying a rather large bag, just like the other students.
He wasn't returning home simply because of the weekend. There was another emergency meeting.

Count Raksa, who had only regained consciousness the previous day, informed everyone about the offer from the new barony.
"They are willing to accept refugees, unemployed commoners, and even vagrants from throughout the county and all subordinate territories. They don't want money, land, titles, or anything else. They simply don't want a war to break out."
After Count Raksa spoke, representatives from other provinces voiced similar opinions.
