Chapter 381 - Chapter 381: Sending the Pichu to Fantasy Island

Ash was extremely anxious right now. According to Pikachu's idea, he might end up living as a bachelor for the rest of his life.

That was definitely not something he wanted. With Pikachu's current strength, even if its descendants were not as powerful as Pikachu itself, they would still surely become the kings among Pikachu.

"Pika~ Pika Pika!" After hearing Ash's words, Pikachu waved its little paw and spoke again.

"Well… according to what you said, that might actually work." After understanding Pikachu's meaning, Ash nodded thoughtfully.

Pikachu agreed with Ash's reasoning, but it still didn't want to find an ordinary Pikachu as its partner.

This was a natural instinct among Pokémon. The stronger a Pokémon became, the more selective it would be when choosing a mate. Some especially dazzling or rare Pokémon were extremely popular during mating seasons.

Since Pikachu couldn't find a partner with strength similar to its own, it would be better to search in places with exceptional environments. Special places—such as Fantasy Island—could nurture very powerful Pokémon.

Pikachu had never doubted Ash's abilities.

Pokémon also possessed a unique ability that humans lacked—the ability to sense elemental energy. Pikachu could clearly perceive the elemental aura contained within Fantasy Island, especially the life energy flowing through the Dream Forest.

"Ash, what is Pikachu saying? Don't keep us guessing." Watching Ash communicate effortlessly with Pikachu, Sabrina couldn't help but ask curiously.

"Pikachu means that since it can't find a partner with similar strength, it might as well search on Fantasy Island. You already know that the Pokémon living in the Dream Forest there are very strong. It shouldn't be a problem to find one suitable there."

Ash explained Pikachu's thoughts to Sabrina.

However, Emiya Shirō, who was standing nearby, looked somewhat confused. After all, he had never visited Fantasy Island, so he had no idea what it was like there.

The same was true for Charmaine.

"Speaking of which… I'm not even sure whether Pikachu live on Fantasy Island. After all, I handed the Dream Forest over to Mewtwo to manage. Miss Charmaine, if you don't mind, could you let me take these Pichu?"

Since he wasn't sure whether Pikachu existed in the Dream Forest, Ash planned to bring some there himself.

Conveniently, a group of Pichu was right in front of him.

On Fantasy Island, food was never a problem. The fruits produced there were incredibly delicious and abundant.

"Of course, that's no problem," Charmaine replied with a nod. "Besides, these Pichu aren't actually mine. If you're willing to take them, you'd actually be helping me solve a problem."

"Alright then. Pikachu, go talk to them."

"Pika Pi!" Pikachu patted its chest proudly, as if saying, Leave it to me!

After communicating with them, the Pichu quickly agreed. They were very willing to move to Ash's Fantasy Island.

There, they wouldn't need to worry about food, nor would they have to fight other Pokémon over territory.

For these Pichu, it was the perfect place to live.

"In that case, just press your little pawprints here."

After Pikachu successfully convinced the Pichu, Ash took out a very large scroll from his storage ring and slowly unfurled it.

The contents of the scroll immediately appeared before everyone present.

The scroll contained the names and contracts of all Pokémon living in the Dream Forest.

It served as an identification contract for Pokémon belonging to Fantasy Island, representing their affiliation with Ash's territory.

Of course, Ash's own Pokémon—and the Legendary Pokémon he had contracted with—were bound by separate contracts.

"Wow… there are so many Pokémon pawprints."

Looking at the messy collection of pawprints on the scroll, Emiya Shirō felt his eyes spinning. Under Pikachu's guidance, the Pichu stepped forward one by one and pressed their tiny pawprints onto the scroll.

"Alright. Make sure you live well after you get there."

After rolling up the scroll and storing it back in his storage ring, Ash gently patted the Pichu on their little heads. Then he formed a hand seal with one hand and shouted:

"Reverse Summoning!"

With a loud bang, the Pichu disappeared from everyone's sight and were instantly transported to Fantasy Island.

Ash believed that Mewtwo would immediately notice the sudden arrival of these Pichu on Fantasy Island.

Moreover, the Dream Forest on Fantasy Island had a strict rule: regardless of species—even natural enemies—Pokémon were only allowed to spar with each other. Killing or eating another Pokémon was strictly forbidden.

Because of this rule, Ash wasn't worried that the Pichu would be bullied by the other Pokémon in the Dream Forest.

However, both Shirō and Charmaine were stunned after witnessing Ash's ability. To them, Ash's powers were incredibly strange—almost unbelievable.

"Alright, it's getting late. Miss Charmaine, we should be leaving as well. Thank you for your hospitality. If you ever run into trouble, you can use this business card to visit Fantasy Island and find an old man named Ferb. He'll help you."

After solving the Pichu problem, Ash and the others prepared to continue their journey.

Before leaving, Ash handed Charmaine a business card. The card itself was very simple—it only contained Ash's name and his phone number.

Charmaine accepted it without hesitation.

From everything she had seen today, she already understood that Ash was far from an ordinary Pokémon trainer. Furthermore, the reputation of Fantasy Island had already spread throughout the Kanto region, so she had naturally heard about it.

After leaving Charmaine's orchard, Ash and his companions continued traveling toward Ecruteak City in the Johto region.

If everything went as expected, they should arrive before evening.

And just as Ash predicted, at around four in the afternoon, the group finally arrived at their destination.

"Is this Ecruteak City?"

After entering the city, Sabrina looked at the surrounding buildings and spoke with some curiosity.

"Rather than calling it a city, it feels more like a traditional town. Most of the buildings here are wooden houses. Actually… they look very similar to the structures on your Fantasy Island, Ash."
