"Take it!"
Wang Junze glanced at Pei Haoran, but didn't reach for the Other Shore Flower the other offered, saying casually, "As we agreed before, however many Other Shore Flowers we get, we'll split them evenly."
As soon as the words fell, Wang Junze flicked his wrist, separating two Other Shore Flowers from his hand and tossed them to the Maiden of the Sea.
"Hm?"
The Maiden of the Sea caught the Other Shore Flower instinctively, surprise flickering on her face. She'd expected Wang Junze to only give one, like Pei Haoran did—but to her amazement, he handed over two.
"Three each, split evenly!"
Wang Junze explained offhandedly, "If I've promised something, I won't go back on my word!"
"???"
Pei Haoran was full of question marks; how come those two each get three, and he only gets two?
It's not about having little, it's about fairness.
