Rose was chewing on a blade of grass, and as Ethel walked by, Rose lifted his leg and kicked him in the butt.
"Let me ask you, if you bumped into a girl... Hmm, a goddess having her birthday, what would you get her as a gift?"
Ethel shot him a glance, didn't say a word, and kept on building the Divine Hall.
After all this time, the Divine Hall already looked pretty good, and Ethel was working on the roof.
Seeing he didn't reply, Rose muttered to himself, "Asking you is basically pointless. I remember you're single, right? Bet you've never gifted a goddess before."
Ethel snorted, "Nobody dares accept my gift."
"Oh? Not even the Moon God?" Rose asked, piqued.
Ethel said blandly, "I only gave the most beautiful goddess a Golden Apple."
"The most beautiful goddess? That's not the Moon God?"
