Han always said he missed Woohyun.
Usually, it meant nothing.
But now, Seungmin paid attention carefully.
Taking Han's hands into his own, he smiled gently.
"Should we visit him someday?" he asked softly. "We could bring Jisoo, Seokmin, Chahyuk… maybe even Minho."
The reaction was immediate.
Han's expression darkened. He pulled his hands away sharply.
"Why would you even mention him?" he snapped. "Don't you remember what he did?"
Seungmin stayed quiet.
"He left us," Han continued bitterly. "He left me and never looked back."
Seungmin's heartbeat slowed. So that's all he remembers. Relief flickered across his face for only a second before disappearing again. Carefully, he reached up and cupped Han's cheek.
"Hanni," he murmured, "you don't hate him. You are just angry."
Han frowned and stepped away from his touch.
"Yaa, Choi Seungmin," he muttered, irritated. "How can you talk about him so casually?"
Seungmin lowered his hand slowly.
"Okay," he said softly. "Then we won't bring anyone."
His lips curved into a small smile.
"Just you and me."
Han stayed silent, though the irritation on his face remained obvious.
Seungmin noticed immediately. He always noticed. Tilting his head slightly, Seungmin leaned closer with playful eyes.
"Be honest," he said. "Did you come here because you missed Woohyun…"
He stepped even closer.
"…or because you missed me?"
A shiver crawled down Han's spine.
Seungmin grinned.
"I hate when my boyfriend talks about other people," he said teasingly. "It makes me jealous."
Han blinked, visibly caught off guard.
The teasing expression on Seungmin's face softened almost instantly.
"Then I'll stop," he said quietly. "Just you and me, alright?"
Han pressed a hand against Seungmin's arm, pushing him back slightly.
"Don't you have class?"
Seungmin shrugged carelessly.
"I can skip it."
"No," Han said immediately. "If your father finds out, he'll kill you."
At the mention of his father, something shifted in Seungmin's face.
His smile disappeared.
For a brief second, his eyes turned completely empty.
"I can stay," he said quietly. "If you want me to."
Han shook his head.
"No. Go to class. I'll wait."
Seungmin hesitated before nodding slowly. Then he walked away. Han watched him disappear down the hallway. Something about today felt strange.
Seungmin usually sat through entire dates in silence without saying much at all. But today, he'd been overly affectionate. Playful. Clingy.
Almost nervous.
Han pulled the sleeves of Seungmin's hoodie over his hands and sat back down on the bench.
Watching him leave left an ache in his chest he couldn't explain.
