I stand in the streets of New York, and I'm surrounded by chaos and darkness. I feel like I'm in an Avengers movie and the heroes had just finished saving the day, leaving chaos in their wake. But the only difference is, I don't think I remember ever seeing or hearing about a group of heroes saving New York City from evil.
In fact, I don't remember leaving my apartment; I'm just here on the streets being cornered by destruction. I don't understand what's happening, but from the looks of things, it can't be good.
I can smell the stench of blood and burning flesh; I can see the burnt bodies and bodies that are marked with marks of beasts humans never thought they would see. Everything looks so dystopian; it's so fucking scary, very scary.
What must have happened here? What the hell is even going on?
