The longer he stared at it, the more the imbalance stood out. The clan had never been in such a strong position, at least not in ways that were so visible. They had improved cultivation environments, spirit-gathering formations humming away throughout the compound, growing medicinal gardens, a disciple population larger than ever before, a steam of income, and training facilities that would have seemed like a dream just a year ago.
All of it had been built with a specific ceiling in mind, though nobody had consciously planned it that way. Foundation Establishment and Spirit Root cultivators had everything they could reasonably need.
Soul Manifestation cultivators had almost nothing.
