Having just witnessed the earth-shattering destructive power displayed by Tianyuan and his enemy, the Mist Ninja no longer possessed the resolve to oppose him. If Tianyuan were to launch an attack now, the majority of the Mist forces here would likely collapse in terror.
Such apocalyptic strength was completely beyond Kage-level.
Yagura naturally noticed the fear taking root in the hearts of the Mist Ninja. He let out a cold snort. "Everyone, fall back and reorganize."
Yagura then looked toward Ao, Fuguki Suikazan, and the other high-ranking Mist officers. "Come with me to a meeting. We need to discuss our arrangements for the next phase and, more importantly, determine how to deal with... this kind of power."
"Yes, Lord Mizukage," the Mist executives replied one after another.
"Move out." Yagura waved his hand and departed, followed by the rest of the high-ranking officials.
They were aware that the Mizukage was dissatisfied with the performance of the Mist Ninja, but there was little Yagura could do. This reaction wasn't limited to a few people; it was the entire army. He could only let time slowly help them overcome their dread.
It wasn't just the rank-and-file ninja; even the high-ranking Jonin felt a faint, lingering trace of fear in their hearts. Tianyuan's power was simply too terrifying. Hearing rumors was one thing, but witnessing it in person was entirely another.
Moreover, Madara Uchiha and Tianyuan had fought using a significant portion of their true strength this time, making the power and influence of their battle truly staggering. The Mist Ninja realized that even if they tried to simulate a counter-strategy, destroying a Susanoo would be an incredibly daunting task. The output required was simply too high.
Mei Terumi watched the aftermath of the battle between Tianyuan and Madara Uchiha, her confidence waning. She had possessed some courage at the start, but now, that bravery was vanishing.
The sheer scale of the battle between Madara Uchiha and Tianyuan was overwhelming. That level of destructive power was usually reserved for a Tailed Beast. Or rather, this was the kind of strength that allowed a single individual to suppress an entire Hidden Village, much like Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju in the past.
Despite the many years that had passed, the Shinobi World had produced another monster like them: Tianyuan.
As for the other individual who possessed a Susanoo, the Mist Ninja were clueless about his identity, though they knew for certain he wasn't one of theirs. All in all, most of the Mist Ninja breathed a sigh of relief that Tianyuan had not pressed his advantage to attack them.
At the Konoha encampment.
"Tianyuan won! He won!" Kushina Uzumaki cheered happily, finally letting out a sigh of relief as she watched Tianyuan blast the massive meteorite to pieces, followed by the dissipation of the enemy Susanoo.
"I didn't expect Tianyuan to be that powerful. That final attack didn't look overly flashy, but the force behind it must have been immense; otherwise, it would have been impossible to destroy a meteorite of that size," Minato Namikaze remarked as he watched the distant scene. Though it was somewhat blurry due to the distance, he could see enough to know that the blue Susanoo had vanished first.
Minato knew then that Tianyuan had emerged victorious.
"Tianyuan is truly incredible. Perhaps his strength really is comparable to the First Hokage," Shikaku Nara said in awe.
Such power was enough for one man to suppress a Hidden Village. It was just like Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha from the stories. Since the formation of the Five Great Nations, and excluding those two legends who possessed power beyond all others, there had always been a gap between even the strongest Kage-level experts and that pinnacle. None of them could truly suppress a village by themselves.
"But who was the person Tianyuan was fighting?" Minato asked, his brow furrowing.
The individual clearly possessed the Mangekyo Sharingan of the Uchiha Clan. However, there was no reason for the Uchiha to do this, considering they were a clan belonging to Konoha.
Minato, Kushina, and the others then descended from the trees. Now that the battle was over, Tianyuan would likely be returning shortly.
At that moment, the space beside Kushina distorted slightly, and a figure gradually materialized.
"Tianyuan!" Kushina was the first to notice him, shouting in surprise and joy.
"Hello, everyone," Tianyuan greeted Kushina, Minato, and the others.
"Tianyuan, you and your ridiculous Flying Thunder God Technique again," Minato said with a shake of his head.
Under normal circumstances, the Flying Thunder God Technique consumed a vast amount of chakra, yet Tianyuan performed it over a long distance as if it cost him nothing at all. Of course, Minato also knew that since Tianyuan could use such exaggerated Wood Release Ninjutsu, his chakra reserves were likely as vast as those of the First Hokage.
"Lord Tianyuan," the surrounding Konoha ninja added, their voices filled with deep respect.
Though they hadn't seen the battle clearly, what they did see was enough to confirm that Tianyuan was every bit as powerful as the rumors claimed. Tianyuan had killed many enemies on this battlefield,
but he rarely resorted to such shocking and grand ninjutsu. Usually, his Taijutsu and basic techniques were enough that even a Jonin couldn't stand against him. His Taijutsu, in particular, was practically unstoppable.
"Tianyuan, do you know who you were fighting against?" Minato asked.
"Minato, Kushina, Shikakuyou three, come with me," Tianyuan said suddenly.
The rest of the Konoha Jonin were taken aback for a moment but said nothing. These three were the primary commanders of this front, and Tianyuan clearly had secrets to share.
"Alright, no problem," Minato and Shikaku shared a quick glance.
Tianyuan then led Kushina and the others directly back to his personal tent. They sat down, and each was poured a cup of tea.
"Alright, Tianyuan, out with it. Don't keep us in suspense. Who was it? Was it someone from the Uchiha Clan?" Kushina asked curiously.
"Kushina, normally you wouldn't be allowed to hear this, but I'll make an exception since you are my vice captain," Tianyuan teased.
"I know, I know," Kushina pouted.
"Then I'll tell you," Tianyuan said, looking at Minato and Shikaku. He knew he could trust these two. In truth, he didn't want this news to spread and cause a massive uproar. By his estimation, the current Madara Uchiha didn't have much longer to live anyway.
"That man was indeed from the Uchiha Clan."
