Yohan took another look at Hatoru and decided that Jenna was right. This man didn't deserve justice. What he deserved was a merciless death.
He turned and walked toward Helen.
"He attacked me. Hand me your gun."
She held her breath.
"Yohan, no."
"Helen, you witnessed this man stab me in the arm and shoot that woman. This isn't about what's right or wrong. This is simply what I've decided. Hand me the gun."
Helen lowered her head and gave it to him.
"No," Izumi said weakly, but Helen had already begun pulling her out of the room.
"No, please don't!" Her screams filled the room even as she was dragged outside.
Yohan ignored her. He walked back to Hatoru's broken and battered body and pointed the gun at him.
"You never asked me what happened to your parents," the old man said with a groan.
"They're dead. Why should I give a fuck?"
"You know... it wasn't much different from this sight," he forced out with a chuckle.
"That's good to know."
