Chapter 362 - Chapter 362: The Fall of the Evil God

Chapter 362: The Fall of the Evil God

"What an utterly delusional brat!"

Ōnoki's eyes flickered with a mix of shock, confusion, and faint regret.

Had the Shinobi World truly produced a new generation like Yahiko?

It was clear—he was getting old.

If only a boy like that had been born in Iwagakure…

"Another one like Shanks, a newcomer who seeks to change the world?"

Transformed into a Crimson Troll, Whitebeard stood cloaked in blood-red energy,

raising Cong Yunqie to block a descending Evil God beam.

Shanks's declaration as an adventurer still echoed in his ears—

his vow to overturn the Pirate World and break the monopoly of the Navy and World Government.

And now, the Shinobi World had birthed another who bore that same will.

Just as he had predicted,

the emergence of the Reincarnation Game was like a blazing fire, igniting all the smothered, buried, and stifled sparks of revolution.

For old-timers like him,

competing with this new generation who dared to challenge the world's order—

was like carrying a mountain on their backs.

"You want the Navy to take orders from a player from another world?"

Before Aokiji and Kizaru could react,

Sakazuki already scowled and scoffed disdainfully.

The Navy Alliance was the strongest faction in the Reincarnation Game—

and now they were supposed to follow someone else's command? What would that do to the Navy's reputation?

Several Infernal Demons grouped together, forming a wall of flames to protect the Navy.

Ice, poison dragons, and beams of light followed suit.

Half of Aokiji's body was encased in frost. Expressionless, he said,

"If it can save the world and kill the Evil God, what's a little pride?"

"Aokiji—you've lost your sense of naval honor!"

Sakazuki's eyes blazed with fury.

"We came for the loot. What does the Shinobi World's survival have to do with us?"

"Short-sighted fool."

Their argument mirrored the internal conflict within Strategist Tsuru.

Which was more important—Navy pride or saving the world?

"That Yahiko brat, huh?"

Whitebeard, whose arms had been blown off by the Evil God's beams, summoned forth twin limbs of crimson blood.

He looked down at the orange-haired youth and laughed,

"Wanna be my son?"

Yahiko froze—his resolute face momentarily stunned.

Why was this massive troll of a man making such a ridiculous statement…

on the battlefield, in the middle of a crisis?

He thought it was a joke—until he looked up into the eyes of the monstrous Whitebeard.

There was no mockery.

The man was serious.

An orphan his whole life, Yahiko found himself at a loss for words.

All he could do was change the subject, "Let's talk after we kill the Evil God, Big Troll Uncle."

"I like your words. From now on, I, Edward Newgate, will follow your lead!"

The leaders of the Four Great Shinobi Villages turned toward them in disbelief.

Konoha was the one under siege.

Yet here was a player from another world who had no stake in this,

and he had agreed to take orders from Yahiko without hesitation.

Weren't they afraid of being manipulated—of being sent to die?

Mei Terumī chuckled.

"Truly, players from the Sea World are either greedy treasure hunters or hopelessly idealistic."

"Yahiko is… a surprising kind of ninja. He gives off a warm feeling."

If she were to marry, she mused,

Yahiko would probably be her type.

Licking her lips, she added,

"Even players from other worlds have the guts to try saving the Shinobi World.

Of course Kirigakure won't stand by and watch.

So long as you don't send my people to die, I'll follow your lead, Yahiko."

As her voice fell,

she felt a cold gaze land on her.

She tilted her head slightly and saw a very unwelcoming woman—Konan—

standing beside Yahiko, eyes full of guarded hostility.

Like she was about to steal something precious.

Mei smiled with a hint of provocation.

"Cold little paper girl… so boring."

Konan remained expressionless but silently stepped forward,

placing herself protectively in front of Yahiko.

The remaining Shinobi factions hesitated, but soon also agreed.

The Four Great Nations didn't trust each other enough to follow any one of their own,

and they certainly weren't about to let a foreign player lead them.

The Dawn Organization was a known neutral force in the Shinobi World.

Letting Yahiko command made the most sense.

"The Navy is willing to temporarily act under Yahiko-san's command."

After careful consideration, Strategist Tsuru also gave her approval.

In the short term,

the Shinobi World had no power to interfere with the Sea World.

Even if Yahiko's prestige grew, it would only affect this realm—not theirs.

"If the Captain-Commander had half the resolve Yahiko does…

would the Soul Society still be in its current state?"

As everyone turned to look at Yahiko—who now exuded a radiant aura of leadership—

Aizen's lips curled into a subtle smile.

It was almost amusing to imagine such a being in the world of the Shinigami.

A world born from bloodshed and ruled by violence—

the Gotei 13, led by a brute who knew only war,

was little more than a cold, lifeless machine of tradition and rules.

If Yahiko had been born in the Soul Society, what would have changed?

Would Aizen still have chosen betrayal?

Probably, he thought.

Because none of it mattered.

His own will wasn't shaped by others. Whether it was Yahiko, the Captain-Commander, or even the Soul King—

they were all just stepping stones on his path to godhood.

Still… Yahiko was the kind of soul one couldn't help but glance at twice.

"Thank you, everyone."

Yahiko took a deep breath. Behind him, threads of white energy began to swirl—

growing thicker, coiling, and eventually forming into a massive white banner.

The moment it appeared,

all players who had agreed to follow him saw white streams of energy rise from their own bodies—

joining the banner.

[Fate Seer Lv.30]—

A class from the War World centered around cultivating "Qi."

Those born with great fate could condense it into physical forms: war banners, carriages, weapons for generals, calligraphy and seals for strategists.

The greater the fate,

the greater the power to lead armies, guide nations, and even shift the balance of empires.

Yahiko's core ability

wasn't focused on killing—but on gathering the fate of those who trusted and believed in him.

The more allies he found, the stronger he became.

It was a classic commander-type skill.

And the Qi he gathered

could be shared with those who followed him, creating a feedback loop of power and loyalty.
