"Are those curses!" The teacher said with a widen look in her eyes
"Curses? What are curses?" Cinister asked as he put up his guard up
"First off it's quite annoying to not ask me for my name but I'll give it to you anyway" he said "My name is Pluto Vokshem Voralakok and I come from Belgium"
"And regarding your question curses are the worst abominations you can possibly encounter" the student with the curse spirits around him continued "Basically some people have so much Nexus that spirits from Inverted Tower"
"Inverted Tower?" Cinister questioned him even further
"You don't even know that much" Pluto shrugged with disappointment
"The Inverted Tower is where all the spirits reside and people don't dare go there but Spirits can still feel the Nexus from powerful people so they follow it" Pluto continued "Then they "eat" their Nexus and replace it for a unique technique"
"For example my technique let's me make contracts with enemies I've killed and then they act like my servants" he finally finished
"You don't even seem that good with them dwarf{Because Pluto is a dwarf planet}" Cinister verbally violated him
"I don't like the tone you are speaking to me with" Pluto shrugged of his treat
"Now, now don't let your emotions get the better of you guys. I mean we all have come here to study and learn" The Teacher tried to deescalate
"I say make them fight, I mean we do have a training room right?" A Female student said as she blew a bubble with her gum
"And who are you to jump into my fight" Cinister snapped back
"My name is Ivy and I personally don't care about your fight but It's better to resolve it right now then in class" she said and threw her legs on the desk
"I mean I will allow but if one of you misbehaves in class you will be in detention" The teacher said as she took her class to the training room
"Excuse me ,Aevryn, but can you please set up the training room for Cinister and Pluto" the teacher said as all the other students sat down at the stands
"Oh hello Miss Bear I guess I can arrange that but class hasn't even started yet. Are you sure you want me to set it up" Aevryn said calmly
"Yes I'm sure" she replied quickly
"As you wish" Aevryn replied as he put down a large green circle which covered the whole training ground "Now if one of you dies you will come back to life"
Cinister and Pluto got into the two corners of the training room and got ready
Cinister put up his hands
"A mage who uses hands for an altercation? I must say I'm quite perplexed" Pluto said as he unsheathed his katana
"Okay 1, 2, 3 the fight may become" Aevryn yelled out
"Wait a katana and you're in the mage class yet you use a katana how is that fair?" Cinister said as he used [JetBurst] to close the distance
"Yeah since I'm a curse user I get to choose any class I want" Pluto said as he dodged the [JetBurst]
Cinister then uses [Ashen Veil] to hide himself from Pluto
"Unfortunately that won't work" Pluto said as he casted "From the 1st floor I summon the almighty spider"
Then the boss from the first floor appeared before the [Ashen Veil]
"The spider from floor 1 psst I thought you were better" Cinister replied as he used [Zero Delay] and started running towards the spider
Then Cinister suddenly felt the blood coming down his nose and his body against the hard floor of the training room
"Huh why the? My zero delay work??" Cinister asked himself as he cleared the blood from his nose
"Yeah as all inferior think that a floor 1 boss would't be fast or strong but I left out one thing in my technique" Pluto said as he stabbed Cinister's arm into the ground "I can upgrade my contracts at will so…"
"I don't give a shit about what you think I just want to become the best scaler and beat the winter event!" Cinister said
"So embarrassing" Ivy said to the shy classmate next to her "I thought he would at least hold his own for a bit but I guess it was just a fluke"
"Wait do you see that" the student said as he pointed towards the [Vex Flame]
The [Vex Flame] came behind Pluto and hit him in the head, sending him flying into the wall
"I guess I do have some things that can surprise you huh?" Cinister groaned as he pulled out the katana and threw it onto the ground
"A clone ability? So you're a necromancer?" Pluto said as he summoned the big clown from the circus and a Valko from the drill dungeon "This time I won't go easy"
"Same for me dipshit" Cinister said as he casted [Fire Ring Double], [Zero Delay], [Heat Wave] and [Fire Gun]
While Cinister is fighting with his life on the line because of a misunderstanding, Ragna was in an awkward position meeting a familiar face once again.
"Welcome to today's class everybody. You may notice a new face in the classroom so come here and introduce yourself kid." said Draen
"My name is Ragna Kuronaze. I look forward to studying with you" He said nervously
Clapping filled the room with a welcoming feeling but amidst the sound students were whispering among each other "Hey is that really the principal?","Isn't he supposed to teach class 1?", "What is he doing here?".
"Ok you are free to sit down" Draen told Ragna
Now for the question you have all been waiting for: Why am I here?" The principal said
"Well I will be teaching you for now because there was an incident with your previous teacher which I am not going to go into detail of" He continued
"Oh well whatever, let's start the lesson." Said Draen
"Today we are talking about the Berserk state. For those who don't know this a state where a person who has fallen into ultimate despair loses control of his body, resulting in an insane rise in the power of physical capabilities but once you enter it is really hard to regain conscience and as you know the body starts fighting with the threat which pushed the user to this state."
"Now it is incredibly rare to enter this state but if someone has experienced this, please raise your hand."
In the silence a student raised his hand that was the newly introduced Ragna Kuronaze. In the classroom there was one thing circulating, it was confusion.
"Wait have you really entered Berserk state that is so cool" A guy asked
"Well yeah but it was kinda scary when it happened i thought my best friends were going to die so it wasn't very pleasant" Ragna said
"Oh that makes sense. Then I am sorry to ask you for such a terrific event Oh and also my name is Urian. Nice to meet you!"
"Do you want to die?" Draen yelled
"Noooo" Urian quickly turned his head towards him
"Then shut up" Draen said with a glare
We cut to Yoake sitting in the backyard "Finally I have had my peace and quiet. They should've arrived by now though, at least based on what Allen told me. " He thought to himself
"Not that I'm not familiar with how he works" He mumbled to himself as he stood up.
"They are probably on tour right now. The only classes that are having lessons right now are 1 and 2. Both Scrappy and Choi could have been sent to 2nd or 3rd classes. I'll head there right now." He thought to himself
Yoake headed towards the rooms for the 2nd class. While walking down the hallway focused on peeking through the windows of the classrooms Yoake bumped into a random student.
"Watch where you're going jackass. Do you want to get your ass beat?" the student shouted
"Do you have some kind of mental disorder you jerk, we just bumped and you're making it sound like it's the end of the universe. I know the people here are spoiled but that much, really? I would deal with you but I don't have time now. I truly hope we will meet again" Yoake replied
Yoake started heading towards the staircase but was stopped by a wall of fire casted by the short-tempered student
"You're not going anywhere dumbass" he said with a vein popping on his forehead
"Oh my, it seems you're eager to fight. I'm not though. " Yoake replied as he casted [Blinkgate] to get out of the opponents line of sight.
Before the student knew it Yoake had disappeared without a trace
When Yoake arrived at the next floor he saw Choi and Scrappy right at the end of the hallway being assigned to their classrooms
TOWER OF SCALING: ADDITIONAL FLOOR
"Yoooo this library is gigantic, it has all sorts of novels, textbooks and even mangas and manhwas!" Cinister said
"Take a look at this one - Echoes of the abyss, it looks super cool." Ragna said
"Sounds like pure slop?" Cinister asked
"Wait there is an Allen in the story and he is straight up breaking realities bro!" Ragna exclaimed
"Wait, really?? Do you think he has anything in common with our Allen?"Cinister asked
"How th f*ck should i know?" Ragna answered angrily
