Choi and Scrappy both widened their eyes at the sight of their comrade killing innocent people with no remorse nor a blink of his eye.
"How could you do such a thing" Scrappy said with a trembling voice
"Hm? Don't tell me you guys actually made friends with them?" Allen replied with an annoyed expression on his face
"I mean we were just helping them out!" Choi replied with a helpless look in his eyes
"Look I go by one rule if you aren't worthy enough then you deserve to die" Allen replied with no remorse in his voice
"Then why haven't you killed us?" Scrappy asked still shaken up from the event
"Because you two are funny" Allen explained
"Really that's the reason you go without killing us?!" Choi enquired
"Do you know how lonely it is sitting alone at the top?" Allen replied with his head looking down "Everyone sees me as a weapon and there's even a law against me which states that the second I leave Europe I'm considered a national treat"
"I'm so overpowered that I have 8 imaginary chains which suppress my power to an all time low" Allen continued to explain "If I release one of them it's energy is enough to destroy a whole floor"
"That's terrifying to think about but you still shouldn't kill innocent people" Choi explained "You have the potential to become the greatest hero humankind has ever seen"
"Hero? I already tried and all I got in return were ungrateful people because I couldn't save everyone and backlash from the whole world for the smallest mistakes" Allen yelled at both of them "It got so bad that I had to change my identity and appearance so people would stop criticizing me"
"Wait, you mean that Allen is a pseudonym?" Scrappy asked with a confused tone
"Shit I said too much" Allen realized his mistake and with a swift movement knocked out both Choi and Scrappy "I'm sorry but I don't want anyone to figure out my secret"
Allen carefully placed Choi and Scrappy inside of the cage and then a familiar voice was heard behind him
"Yoo we haven't met in a while you know?" the mysterious voice came from a bush
"Ah I haven't seen you all game I though the zombies got you" Allen turned around to spot a familiar swordsman standing next to a tree "Ragna Kurozane it's nice to see you again"
"Really? I'm surprised you remember my full name Allen Toutder" Ragna said as he prepared to shoot him in the head
"Toutder? Who told you that name?" Allen was surprised on how Ragna had found personal information on him
"Well I've known for a while now." Ragna said to him "After you defeated Jarvis in the tournament I decided to do a little background inspection on you and I found some interesting data but let's leave that for another time"
Ragna throws the gun at Allen, who dodges to the right, but he was prepared for that and decides to hit Allen in the liver.
"That's gotta hurt him" Ragna thought to himself but he saw that Allen didn't even flinch at the attack
"That actually wasn't a bad hit, unfortunately I'm on 5 bars(it means no damage was taken)" Allen said as he grabbed Ragna's wrist and broke it with sheer force
Ragna's pain-fueled scream echoed through the entire forest. Then Allen just threw him in the cage with the others.
"Now I gotta wait for that zombie to bring Cinister to the cage and I will win" Allen smirked with confidence
"You don't have to wait long" as another voice came behind Allen but before he could act a gun was placed next to his head
"Don't do anything rash because I know this gun will explode in your face" the person says
Allen does a slight peek to see the individual behind him was indeed the one and only Cinister.
"Hm? I thought you died when Alya threw you off the cliff and then that zombie shot you in the head" Allen was visibly angry that Cinister managed to get the upper hand
"Well let me explain my plan to you and maybe you'll understand a little bit better" Cinister started to explain "In the beginning of the round you transformed everyone's paintball guns into real firearms except mine because I didn't let you touch it. Then when we landed I had the fortune to be close to your landing location"
"So you saw how I killed Emily and how the zombie died after trying to shoot me but that still doesn't explain how you were able to survive their bullets" Allen chimed in his explanation
"Because I didn't survive a real bullet" Cinister replied
"Explain" Allen commanded
"Gladly. When you left with Emily, I reunited with Ragna, Alya and Xander. I told them about two plans to ultimately defeat you. The first plan was-" Cinister was cut off
"To lead me into the cliff and to act like you guys had the advantage" Allen continued Cinister thought
"Right on the money. Now the second plan was to kill one of the zombies and to take its cloak and give it to Ragna who was waiting on the bottom of the cliff but the cloak wasn't the only thing he had."
"You guys switched guns didn't you" Allen said as he widened his eyes
"2/2 good job. After you arrived on the cliff I knew you were gonna throw someone off of it because if I was in your position I would also do that" Cinister explained "And when I fell down Ragna came out of his hiding spot and shot me in the head"
"And it wasn't blood it was red paint that came out of your skull" Allen finally realized Cinister plan
"3/3 you are smarter than you lead on but now I need you to get into the cage" Cinister said while he pushed Allen in the cage and then the game came to an end
"Okay the winners are Team Cinister" a mysterious voice is heard from the speaker "You guys will receive 5 epic scrolls as a prize"
Then
As all the contestant were heading out of the floor Cinister caught up with Scrappy and Choi
"Yoo Choi, Scrappy I want to give you guys 2 scrolls" Cinister said as he gave them the scroll.
"Thanks for them but make sure you don't regret it" Choi said as he went off with Scrappy.
"Hey Cinister can I ask you a question?" Ragna walks up to Cinister and places a hand on his shoulder
"Sure but first I want to ask Alya something," Cinister replied as he brushed off Ragna's hand "What is your connection with the Black Market?"
"I… well… uh" Alya started stuttering
"Look we won't be mad at you but we need to know what you mean to them" Ragna continued Cinister thought
"When I was little my parents worked with the Black Market and they made me into an assassin but I swear that's all I am to them"
Cinister could tell Alya was lying to him but he decided not to push forward "Alright I think we should stock up before we go to the next floor"
Now all of the people all the people used their scroll
Cinister - [Zero Delay] - The user creates a translucent fire sphere centered around themselves. Any attack, projectile, or opponent that enters the sphere is continuously analyzed. The longer an object remains within the field, the more information the sphere gathers, dramatically accelerating the user's perception, reaction speed, and decision-making. To the user, attacks seem to slow to a crawl, allowing them to evade or counter with near-perfect timing.
Ragna - [Self Circuitry] - The user electrifies the blood cells in the blood of his body, which increases the total energy of the body, equalling in the speed of the cells increasing which of course increases the total speed of the body of the user
Alya - [Star Sign] - The user quickly makes a star shape on the ground and any enemies that are caught in it fly up into the air.
Choi - [Grounding Maelstrom] - The user summons a circular field of violently rotating wind around themselves. Although the winds spiral at incredible speeds, they are forced downward, creating immense atmospheric pressure that relentlessly pins everything within the circle toward the ground. Enemies caught inside find their mobility heavily restricted. Every step feels as if they are carrying an unbearable weight, making escape difficult and leaving them vulnerable to close-range attacks. The user, however, is unaffected by the pressure and can move freely within the domain as though standing in calm air.
Scrappy - [1000 snowflakes] - the user summons out of his sword 1000 snowflakes that are smaller than the eye can see. Each one is sharper than a razor and can cut the human body with ease. Every time a snowflake cuts something it multiplies itself until there is nothing left to cut.
After the Fangra went to the floor 7 they stocked up and Cinister, Ragna and Alya went to the drill dungeon so they could train.
"Damn I still can't enter rage mode" Ragna said as he sliced a Valko in half
"That maybe true but the Valkos are no problem for you now" Cinister said as he support Alya so she can kill a Valko too "You are also doing good but the two of you should use your new abilities"
"Okay!" Rang and Alya said in unison
Then Ragna used [Self Circuitry] to speedblitz two more Valkos then he used [Water Surge] to knock the last Valko towards Alya. Then she used [Star Sign] to knock Valko into the air.
"There we go" Cinister said as he used [Fire Ring Double] and [Fire Gun] 200% to shoot the final Valko exploding it into oblivion "We are ready for the Academy"
