While Cinister was resting on the not so comfortable staircase all of a sudden a sharp pain on his forehead. After opening his eyes he waited for a few seconds before looking around.
"A book?" Cinister said as he picked up the objectHe instinctively glanced at the title "The Nexus Academy"
Without knowing he was standing on a stair with school supplies and such therefore, Cinister was able to open and see the contents of the reading matter.
"Chapter - 1"
The Nexus Academy of the Young and Talented is a prestigious educational institution renowned throughout The Tower for its exceptional academic standards, advanced training facilities, and commitment to cultivating the next generation of gifted individuals. "Boring but Alya and Ragna will need this experience to grow" Cinister put the book down.
Then a little tap was felt on his shoulder. Cinister sensed a powerful and commanding aura behind him. As he turned slowly he saw The Red Emporier standing with a confident smirk
"I see you're interested in the Academy" Allen asked sizing up Cinister "I also want to put Choi and Scrappy because well"
We cut to a small training session between Allen vs Scrappy and Choi
Allen was blindfolded, his hands and feet were tied together, all of his senses were dulled and in a wheelchair
"Isn't this a bit much?" Choi asked as he lowered his shield
"Nah It's fine" Allen replied "All you guys have to do is touch me okay"
"That should be easy enough" Scrappy said as he lundged at Allen without thinking
"No you dumbass!" Choi tried to stop Scrappy but it was too late
"Rushing to solve your problems will make them worse" Allen thought to himself as he casted [Preasure].
Scrappy immediately fell on the floor, dropping his daggers and knocking him out
"Well?" Allen looked at Choi "Will you attack me or stand there and wait"
Choi threw his shield but Allen dodged however Choi seized the moment to get up close and tried to punch Allen in the face.
"Nice try" Allen said "But you're too close".
[Explosion]
Allen casted on Choi sending him flying onto a couple of trees.
"He actually got close" Allen realized as a little cut formed on his cheek
We cut back to Cinister and Allen
"So yeah that's basically why" Allen explained to Cinister
"Makes sense" Cinister replied "But will you be joining The Academy?"
"Maybe who knows" Allen responded "I'd like to fight you though"
"Haha never again" Cinister immediatetly declined his offer
"Come on it will be fun" Allen tried to presuade him
"Go fight Jarvis instead, you brute" Cinister turned him down
"Fine" Allen said in annoyance "Such a loser"
Then Allen disappears in a second, leaving Cinister alone with millions of steps and books.
"F*ck, I should of asked him how to beat this puzzle" Cinister realized as he facepalmed himself
"Well at least I'm alone now"
We cut to Alya and Ragna
"Are you ready to go to floor 17?" Ragna asked
"Yeah ready as ever!" Alya responded as they set of to the next floor
They saw the endless steps and bookshelves spiraling around them.
"What is this maddness?" Ragna asked with a schoked voice
"Do you think Cini has lost his mind?" Alya said with a worry written all over her face
"We better find him soon!" Ragna said as they started going up the stairs
After 100 steps they see Cinister reading a book about gardening while standing on a step filled with micro flowers and vegetables
"Yo Cinister?" Ragna said surpring him
"Huh? What are you two doing here?" Cinister asked as he dropped the book on the floor
"Um it has been 3 days?" Alya chimmed in
"3 days really?" Cinister said "I guess that makes sense I did walk 1 million steps"
"1 million!" Ragna and Alya said in unision
"What? didn't you guys walk also walk those steps" Cinister asked with a confused look
"No we only walked 100 so far?" Ragna replied with an even more confused gaze
"This puzzle is b*llshit!" Cinister yelled out as he bumped his head into the bookshelf
"Woah calm down" Alya said "I'm sure we will escape this"
