"[Bubble], [Bubble], [Bubble]" Ragna casted parrying the items away from him "[HeatWave]"
Cinister casted making his instinct dodge the items without thinking.
"[Sneak]" Alya was the last one who casted her spell. Then the Lion tried to sneak attack Ragna with a slash but the Knight knew that he wouldn't able to damage the creature so he tried something new
"[Conjoint Nexus] [ArcBubble]" Ragna casted to parry the offensive gesture [Conjoint Nexus][ArcBubble] – this technique was created by Ragna Kuronaze by using the electrical flow of his ability [Arcmail] with the electrical conductivity of his water-based ability [Bubble] with the power deflect physical attacks and projectiles. By exploiting the physical properties of his two nexuses he can successively create a new even more powerful defensive ability using the stunning effect of Voltbrand and the counter element of [Bubble] he can simultaneously cerate an opportunity to launch an counter attack and deflect the incoming attack, effectively gaining the chance to hit his opponent with a two part combo consisting of respectively the deflected attack and an attack chance created by the electrical shock of [Arcmail].
The lion having made contact with [ArcBubble] started convulsing after experiencing the electrical shock. This little opening gave Ragna the chance to thrust into the lungs of the lion, inflicting on it a mortal wound. Seeing their most threatening enemy laying on the floor right now, bleeding out, a smile formed on Cinister's face.
"Regroup!" Cinister said excitingly In a moment's notice the team members came back together and get in formation.
"So you are out of cards to play, huh?" Ragna taunted the floor boss The Ring Master just stares at them as he somehow duplicated the hoops, almost using some kind of a magical trick. While The Fangra were questioning the movement of the boss, three hoops were thrown into the air. With a gesture of the hand the Ring Master combined the three circular objects into a big portal.
Out of it a massive elephant came out, surprising the team. As the three teammates looked at each other while wondering what in the world is happening in front of them Ragna spoke – "Soo why isn't anyone addressing that thing"
"Bro, this is type of sh*t that Allen will use on us and YOU ARE TELLING ME TO ADRESS IT?!" – asked Cinister with anger in his voice
"You didn't get the joke, did you?" – Ragna followed up
"Guys can you stop arguing so we can actually have a chance to defeat this boss?"- Alya complained As the Two guys started taking it seriously, a thunderous sound came their way. When they glanced forward, they were instantaneously hit by a wave similar to a tsunami.
"So we are super wet now too, how annoying!" – Ragna said
"No, how? Why?" questioned Cinister – "I can't cast my magic!"
"WHAT?" Ragna yelled But before any of them could answer the elephant had already come too close and with incredible precision and timing thrusted right through the bodies of Cinister and Alya with both of his ginormous tusks, skewering them.
Ragna's eyes widened as he saw the two of his closest friends heading towards the death's door with no way to come back. The knight fell on his knees.
Questions, guilt, anger, sadness, disbelief all overwhelmed both his mind. He could not move. In the exact moment his friends needed him the most he could not deliver. He could not save them. Tears streamed down his face as he let out a painful cry.
All of a sudden there was one emotion so powerful than the others, almost suppressing them, Anger and the wish for revenge. The pain rushing in from the view feels indelible.
"Sh*t, this is bad, Alya is seriously wounded but hopefully I do not seem to have any serious injuries somehow. I still can not use my nexus, but why? Wait, it happened right after that tsunami hit us. Maybe it has something to do with the liquid?"- Cinister mutters to himself as he tries to wipe of a decently big part of his arm in which there was some part of energy left due to him trying to cast a spell earlier in the fight.
"Lets see if I am right, [Ashen Veil]"- Cinister yelled as the spell was conjured on top of Alya. After that she screamed with all her might just to realize she wasn't even injured. After that the focus shifted on Ragna who was just sitting on his knees.
After quickly slipping away Cinister and Alya went to Ragna and tried to help him. While drying and healing himself with [Ashen Veil], the mage was trying to talk to Ragna but his words could not reach him.
The knight of the was locked inside of his mind with the belief that his friends are dead. The devastating feeling of anger possessed him. Ragna stood up shoved away his teammates and headed straight for the elephant who was getting ready to charge at them again.
Using his sword and a brutally large amount of brute force he quickly cut off the elephant's trunk and quickly thrusted into the center of the animal's head and quicky turned his blade, killing the animal.
Wasting no time Ragna rushed in blindly into a battle against the ring master one on one. He was dealing solid damage, his strength and speed had drastically increased. The exchanges were going by quicky but Ragna was focused dealing damage not keeping himself safe, multiple hits landed against his body, causing serious injuries.
Every time The ring master went for a hit with his melee weapon- a set of small hoops which were held similar to brass knuckles, the knight would quickly throw the punches out of their path and quickly attack with his sword dealing damage no matter what- would it be at the price of getting hit with a punch or something worse.
"What is going on with him?" – asked Alya with concern overtaking her voice
"I do not know but one thing is for sure we have to help Ragna, so he doesn't die on us!" – Cinister answered
