Chapter 333 - Chapter 333: This Is Just Too Damn Brutal!?

Living Mecha — [Aeon Cronos]

Its appearance was humanoid, equipped with four arms, painted in alternating hues of red and gold, its surface etched with intricate patterns of the Deathblossom Flower.

Orsaga had created it after successfully infiltrating the Matrix Purgatory and completing his first story mission.

However, since his second mission took place in a wizard world, Aeon Cronos was sidelined for the first few dozen days.

By the time it could finally be deployed, Orsaga had already resolved the conflict — after all, Spell circuit Rotation wasn't just for show.

So this moment marked the first time Aeon Cronos had truly made its debut.

Originally, it stood 34.5 meters tall and weighed 4,657.8 tons.

But because it was essentially a physical extension of Orsaga himself — a "quasi-mechanical living organism" — powered by an internal antimatter reactor, its body would grow like a living being.

To date, it had naturally grown to a towering height of 41.8 meters and a staggering weight of 6,249.5 tons.

Its sheer weight alone was enough to crush nearly anything in its path.

As Aeon Cronos was released, a nearly tangible sense of pressure radiated from it in all directions, spreading outward at incredible speed.

Everything in the vicinity fell silent — even snakes, insects, rats, and ants ceased all motion.

The entire world seemed to freeze.

And for the countless humans who could directly perceive its majesty, their hearts and minds were instantly seized by awe.

They were overwhelmed by fear and shock.

Bathed in the golden glow of its AT Field, Aeon at that moment resembled a divine entity descending to shake the World.

Majestic. Sacred. Invincible…

Every word of praise imaginable could be applied to it.

But as its pilot, Orsaga couldn't care less about the people on the verge of collapsing in worship before him.

At his command, Aeon slowly extended one of its massive hands to pick him up and guide him toward the chest plate.

There, a staircase automatically unfolded, leading him into the cockpit.

As the hatch sealed shut, Aeon's cold metal visor shifted slightly, and a pair of massive metallic wings unfurled from its back.

The wings were studded with thrusters.

Once activated, blue high-energy particle streams erupted.

Amid a storm of dust and sonic pressure, Aeon—weighing several thousand tons—launched into the sky at multiple times the speed of sound.

The resulting sonic boom alone formed a massive shockwave cloud, rupturing eardrums and killing several onlookers outright.

Seconds later—

"Motherfucker!! A freaking mecha!?"

"What the fuck! Thank the gods he's on our side—this fight is a guaranteed carry!"

Hearing one of the Purgator nearby curse out loud, Li Ce glanced at his own fists, then remembered that towering, arrogant, ridiculously cool mecha, and quietly swallowed a lump in his throat.

Suddenly, his cultivation techniques didn't seem so "divine" anymore…

More than that, he felt like an absolute scrub.

He'd embarrassed the entire Purgators faction.

While the Purgators recognized Aeon for what it was, the native inhabitants of this world were utterly devastated.

After all, how could they comprehend something like this?

They couldn't even begin to understand what had just appeared before them.

Countless soldiers, ignoring their own bleeding ears and dead comrades, collapsed to their knees in a panic.

Wailing, they began to confess their sins, begging the gods for forgiveness with all their hearts.

To them—

This was divine judgment. A celestial being had descended to punish them!

There was no way not to be afraid.

"...What is that?"

"...Is that really a god?" muttered Lü Wenhuan, staring in disbelief.

Guo Jing shook his head dazedly. "...I don't know. Maybe it really is a god…"

Huang Rong looked at the soldiers who had died or been grievously injured by the shockwave, then recalled the coldness in Orsaga's gaze. Her expression darkened with sorrow as she said softly:

"Even if he is a god… he's one with a heart of ice and no compassion…"

At that, the entire area fell into stunned silence.

---

Yuan Dynasty Army.

The army's commanding officer — Wulianha Ashu — sat atop his horse, his expression grim as he spoke to his adjutant.

"We're less than half a hour away from Xiangyang, so why hasn't the Vajra sect's reinforcements arrived yet?"

He understood perfectly well that while regular troops could achieve numerical superiority, the true deciding factor was always the clash between top-tier experts.

In this world, peerless masters could perfectly execute assassination missions or use lightning strikes to force open city gates.

They were the ultimate vanguard — the best of the best.

They drastically reduced overall casualties.

That's why every nation dispatched top experts alongside their main forces.

"Great Ming and Great Sui don't want our campaign to go smoothly. They've sent people to tie up our top experts.

Lord Meng Chixing, Grandmaster Basiba, Master Sihanfei, Lord Bi Xuan… almost all of them have been engaged elsewhere."

"Among those near Grandmaster level, the only one who could still be dispatched — the Vajra Sect's Golden Wheel Monk — was seriously injured in his duel with Song Que two months ago. He'll need a few more days to fully recover…"

Hearing this, Wulianha Ashu's face twitched, but he said nothing.

As a nomadic empire, everything the Yuan Dynasty did was constantly under scrutiny.

After all, they were the most unruly among their neighbors. So whenever they made a move, all the other nations would intervene, trying to suppress their expansion.

'Damn all those meddling bastards. Under our heavenly genius Genghis Khan — Borjigin Temujin — the Yuan Dynasty will unify the world…'

---

While the native officers were discussing their situation, the Purgators aligned with Yuan were busy with their own tasks.

Some were gathering intelligence. Others conserving energy. Still others were working to win over local factions…

One of them, staring at a pile of gathered intel, scratched his head in confusion.

"What the hell is all this crap?. Great Sui, Great Song, Great Ming, Great Yuan — four dynasties all playing mahjong together, while Dali, Jin, Goguryeo and other smaller countries crowd around to watch?"

"And what's this — the Quanzhen Sect is right next to Cihang Jingzhai? Daoists and nuns forming a tag team?. Wait, no… doesn't Quanzhen Sect already have female nuns inside? Shaolin Temple versus the Pure Thought Zen Sect?"

"The Five Greats of Song?

Little Li Flying Dagger killing the Green-Winged Bat King?

Guihai Yidao arresting Tian Boguang?

Dragon Guard Manor?

Heaven Ranking Grandmasters?

Earth Ranking Masters?

And even a Black Ranking!?

What kind of timeline is this? This is the most chaotic stew of nonsense I've ever seen…"

Right next to him, a blonde, blue-eyed Purgator was peering through a Gauss sniper scope, observing the interior of Xiangyang City in hopes of gathering some intel.

He didn't understand a word his temporary teammate was muttering about. Dynasties? Wuxia world? None of it made sense.

He was just about to light a cigar to take the edge off, when—

Suddenly, something caught his eye. A strange object had appeared inside Xiangyang's city walls.

It was so tall, it stuck out over the walls.

He immediately activated his Hawkeye ability, something he had exchanged for using points.

Seconds later, he recognized what it was.

After all, any modern person would know.

"…Holy Shit…"

With the utmost politeness, he swiftly packed up his rifle.

Then, without a word, he whipped out his Green Goblin Glider and launched into a full-on retreat!

He didn't care what his teammates thought.

The Purgator buried in files stared, utterly dumbfounded, as the other guy zipped away like a superhero.

Around them, soldiers were already freaking out like they'd just seen a celestial being descend.

Ignoring the chaos, the Purgator with the documents suddenly felt something very wrong.

He quickly used one of his abilities to gaze in the direction his comrade had just observed.

And then… he saw it.

A mecha, wings blazing with blue fire, was flying straight toward them.

"What the Fuck!!. Using guns in a wuxia world is already outrageous — and now you're flying a goddamn mecha!?"

"This is beyond inhuman!. Where the hell is the balance!?"

Faced with this catastrophic revelation, he didn't hesitate.

He instantly turned to one of his nearby teammates and shouted:

"Run!. This fight's a no-go!. Someone from the Song Dynasty is piloting a damn mecha straight at us!!"

With that, he whipped out a long-hoarded teleportation scroll and vanished.

"Mecha!?"

The teammate froze for a second or two, then processed what he'd heard.

"…Fuck!"

A mecha?

Who the hell could survive that!?
