Chapter 128 - Happy Ning Fengzhi

While desperately searching for a way out, Tang San's eyes suddenly lit up.

"Uncle Ning, normally I would never give my techniques to others. But since you saved my life and are Rongrong's father, I am willing to contribute my techniques to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan." Tang San's expression was filled with gratitude.

When Ning Fengzhi heard the first sentence, his face darkened. But upon hearing the rest, joy surged through him.

"Good, good, good. Little San, I will not mistreat you. From now on, whatever resources you require, I will provide them. The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan will support you from this day forward." Ning Fengzhi finally smiled. He was extremely pleased. He had obtained Tang San's techniques without resorting to violence.

For him, this was a perfect win-win situation.

"Thank you, Uncle Ning." Seeing Ning Fengzhi so happy, Tang San also smiled.

After exchanging a few more words, Ning Fengzhi arranged a place for Tang San to stay.

With that, Tang San walked toward his temporary 'home,' escorted by several guards who were arranged to 'help' him with his belongings. Outwardly, he appeared calm. Inwardly, however, killing intent churned violently.

'How dare you covet my techniques. Since you are courting death, I will make you pay the price for humiliating me today. Enjoy your smile while it lasts.'

After Tang San left the hall, Chen Xin and Gu Rong voiced their opinions.

"Clan Leader, this boy's character is extremely poor. He even betrayed his own teacher. Can he truly be trusted?"

"Tang San is cunning," Gu Rong added coldly.

Ning Fengzhi nodded at their words. He had already noticed that Tang San was far more shameless than expected. His mind immediately turned to precautions. How to restrain him. How to keep him firmly under control. He began to plan.

Meanwhile, Wu Lan's group had already left the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.

Wu Lan brought Xiao Wu and the others to the courtyard he had purchased in the capital.

"Brother, teach me how to become invisible," Xiao Wu said excitedly. Seeing the Space Law had made her extremely interested.

She had already imagined countless ways to prank others and have fun.

Hearing this, Zhu Zhuqing's eyes also lit up. If she could learn this ability, defeating her sister would become effortless.

"Your level is too low to learn this," Wu Lan said, shaking his head.

Laws were not something one could casually cultivate. Only those at the peak of Ultimate Douluo, level ninety nine, or those who had already become gods, could truly comprehend them. Even Wu Lan himself had only learned this because of the Silver Dragon and Golden Dragon bloodlines.

Hearing this, Xiao Wu pouted, feeling that all her clever plans had gone to waste. Zhu Zhuqing, meanwhile, felt a quiet sense of disappointment at her own weakness.

Just then, Wu Lan's storage bracelet began vibrating.

Wu Lan frowned slightly, puzzled.

"Brother, what's wrong?" Xiao Wu asked immediately when she noticed his expression.

Wu Lan did not answer.

Instead, his consciousness plunged directly into his storage space.

Something inside was vibrating violently.

His eyes narrowed when he found the source.

A silver scale was trembling as if it were alive.

Wu Lan immediately understood.

He took out the scale Gu Yuena had given him and poured soul power into it.

A familiar voice echoed out, cold and beautiful, carrying unmistakable displeasure.

"Wu Lan, did you forget me?" Gu Yuena said. Her tone was thick with resentment. "Why have you not contacted me for so long?"

Hearing the sweet voice laced with grievance, Wu Lan chuckled and explained calmly.

"I thought you had gone back to sleep to heal your injuries. I didn't want to disturb you."

Upon hearing his voice, Gu Yuena felt a strange sense of comfort. For reasons she herself did not understand, ever since Wu Lan had left, she had begun to miss the time they spent together laughing freely. Without him, even healing felt unbearable. She found herself unable to concentrate at all.

"Hmph." She knew Wu Lan had understood her situation and deliberately chosen not to disturb her. Realizing this made her feel secretly happy. Still, as a proud dragon, she let out a soft snort to conceal her emotions.

Hearing her tsundere reaction, Wu Lan chuckled at Gu Yuena's unexpectedly girlish side.

Gu Yuena then began asking about Wu Lan's recent activities. When she heard what had happened in past, she grew interested, especially in Wu Lan's pranks.

Wu Lan did not disappoint her.

He vividly recounted Tang San riding a donkey, betraying his teacher, and how Yu Xiaogang had become a complete clown.

As Wu Lan communicated with Gu Yuena through soul power,

Xiao Wu, seeing him holding the silver scale, immediately realized who he was speaking with. She pouted in jealousy. She wanted to interrupt, but fearing that Gu Yuena might abduct Wu Lan out of revenge, she hesitated.

No, it wasn't fear.

It was a strategic retreat.

After convincing herself, Xiao Wu silently turned her head away in anger.

Zhu Zhuqing and Lingling were both puzzled by her behavior.

Bi Ji and Zi Ji, however, were shocked. Seeing their Lord's reverse scale in Wu Lan's possession, they instantly understood just how much importance their Lord placed on Wu Lan.

After chatting for a while longer, Wu Lan finally put away the silver scale.

"Hmph," Xiao Wu snorted loudly, making sure Wu Lan noticed her displeasure.

"Oh? Who made my cute little rabbit angry?" Wu Lan asked teasingly.

"Hmph."

Hearing her brother praise her, Xiao Wu felt joy bubbling up inside her and almost smiled. She forcefully suppressed it, turned around, and snorted again.

Understanding that Xiao Wu was jealous, Wu Lan immediately decided to trick, no, coax, her.

Shopping trips. Outings. Snacks.

Under Wu Lan's relentless sweet talk, Xiao Wu finally melted. She began bouncing happily, already thinking of all the fun places they could visit. She did not forget to shoot a smug look at Zhu Zhuqing.

"Disappear, you shameless rabbit," Orchid suddenly appeared, unable to tolerate Xiao Wu's behavior any longer.

Xiao Wu refused to back down, and the two immediately began arguing, their quarrel escalating into a full-scale war over Wu Lan.

While they fought, Zhu Zhuqing quietly approached Wu Lan, who was rubbing his head helplessly.

"Brother Lan, come here," she said softly.

She pulled him down onto a chair and began gently massaging his temples.

"Brother Lan, is my strength enough?" she asked quietly.

"Enough. Thank you, kitten," Wu Lan closed his eyes and replied, while enjoying the message.

Zhu Zhuqing smiled and continued.

Xiao Wu and Orchid suddenly sensed that something was wrong. They stopped fighting and turned to look at Zhu Zhuqing.

Both shouted angrily.

"Zhuqing, you sneaky thief!"

They rushed toward her, ready to fight to the death.

"Idiots," Zhu Zhuqing muttered as she turned and ran.

The courtyard filled with laughter.
