Chapter 106 - Save

After calming down, Qian Renxue continued reading the information about Yu Xiaogang and Tang San, which made her expression darken.

After finishing Yu Xiaogang's theories, she threw the documents on the table in anger.

"Why is this trash an elder in Spirit Hall? How could such a useless theory be approved, and what is the benefit of helping him?" She tried to analyze the situation with her political mind, but the more she thought about it, the more confused she became. She never guessed that the cold-blooded Bibi Dong would turn out to be a love-brained fool.

With a headache forming, she called her subordinates in.

"Young Master," a maid soon walked in and asked respectfully.

"How is the situation in the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan?" Qian Renxue asked.

"Young Master, the situation is not good. They have invited people to help, but the poison is deadly and cannot be detoxified."

"Is Dugu Bo's poison really that powerful?" she asked seriously.

This concerned her mission to conquer the Heaven Dou Empire. If the poison was that strong, then Dugu Bo's knowledge as a poison master might become a crucial variable in her plans to poison Emperor Xue Ye.

"Young Master, even Soul Saint healers failed to detoxify it," the maid replied.

"Even Soul Saints failed?" Qian Renxue said solemnly. After thinking for a moment, she continued, "Since that trash requested help from Spirit Hall, send our Spirit Hall poison master to their clan to assess the poison."

"Yes, Young Master."

"What is their clan doing now?"

"Young Master, the entire clan is now desperately searching for a Lanba student named Tang San."

"That trash's disciple, Tang San? Why?" Qian Renxue was puzzled.

"Young Master, a few hours ago Tang San was suspected of poisoning the Strength Clan leader's grandson. This poison also appears to be as deadly as Dugu Bo's, so after hearing this, the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan also began searching for him."

"Where is Tang San now?"

"Young Master, Tang San went into hiding after that incident, and his current location is unknown."

After thinking a little, she concluded that Tang San was not worth taking seriously.

"Don't worry about him. Focus on the poison and Dugu Bo."

"Yes, Young Master." With that, the maid left, and Qian Renxue continued handling her responsibilities.

Meanwhile, in the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan,

Wu Lan and Liu Erlong were sitting somewhat far from the crowd, chatting about miscellaneous things while watching many healers and medicine experts rack their brains to solve the poison and claim rewards.

"Wu Lan, can you solve this poison? If not, let's leave silently to avoid trouble," Liu Erlong said with a worried expression.

Seeing her concern, Wu Lan smiled. He had already observed the poison in their bodies. Due to the upgraded Xuan Tian Record, he knew more than Tang San. Tang San had used a deadly poison that could kill people from the inside out. Since Wu Lan had taken their wealth and involved them in this situation, he decided he would at least save their lives to reduce his guilt.

He could solve the poison using herbs and acupuncture, but it would take too much time and effort. The main reason, however, was that he wanted to reap the payments from curing them, so he decided to directly use his Martial Spirit to naturally expel the poison using his massive vitality while receiving the rewards.

"Don't worry, I can definitely cure them."

"Okay."

Seeing his confident expression, Liu Erlong didn't say anything more to upset him but silently decided that if things didn't go well, she would take Wu Lan and escape.

"Ahhhhh!"

A painful scream suddenly echoed from one of the patients.

When Wu Lan looked toward the sound, he saw Yu Zhenhai screaming and rolling on the ground.

He was satisfied seeing this. That arrogant bastard, who had always looked down on common people and bullied the weak, deserved it. Wu Lan would not let him die easily. Death was the easy way out. He wanted him to become the very person he hated most.

"Erlong, let's go." Wu Lan walked toward Yu Zhenhai, and Liu Erlong followed curiously behind him.

Soon, they reached the area where many people were still trying to solve the poison. Hearing the screams, several had already gathered around Yu Zhenhai, trying to save him using their Martial Spirits and medical knowledge.

"How is his condition?"

"So painful... his body is full of poison!"

"I cannot solve this poison. It's too complex. It will take a lot of time to understand, but we don't have that time. The poison in his body is spreading rapidly and destroying his internal organs. He cannot live past today like this."

"I feel pity seeing him in this condition."

The surrounding healers began discussing among themselves.

"Excuse me, can you make way?" Wu Lan called out, asking the crowd to move aside so he could approach Yu Zhenhai.

Under their curious gazes, he stepped forward and summoned his Martial Spirit, the Orchid. His entire temperament became gentler, and his presence calmed everyone nearby.

The people around him stared at his Martial Spirit and at him in a daze, mesmerized by his serene and graceful appearance.

Liu Erlong, following behind, couldn't take her eyes off him. She soon forced herself to turn her head away but felt embarrassed, realizing how intently she had been staring at him, and silently cursed herself.

Wu Lan didn't look at them. He focused entirely on Yu Zhenhai, determined to turn him into a weakling. He stretched out his hand and slowly sent vitality into Yu Zhenhai's body to heal him, while quietly collecting his payments.

Soon, Yu Zhenhai's screams began to subside. The poison in his body started to diminish, though his overall power was also beginning to weaken. Yu Zhenhai didn't notice this; in his half awakened state, he only felt relief as the pain decreased. His pale face gradually regained a rosy hue.

After a while, Wu Lan stopped his treatment.

Seeing him stop, the surrounding healers rushed forward to check Yu Zhenhai's body. After observing the change in his complexion and condition, they were shocked to see how drastically he had improved.
