Noah's p.o.v
He woke up with a pounding headache after drinking the entire night until, Alex. He jumps off the bed and runs out of the door. It's empty, she left. She turns to go back into the room when he saw a plate with a wrap, juice, water and tablets. When did she get time to do this?
.
"Noah. You late? What, are you hung over?"
"Shh... Let us get coffee first before you judge me."
Noah ordered his cappuccino with extra whipped cream; he also paid for whatever Toby ordered. Should he get Alex anything to thank her for taking care of him last night? Maybe he can ask her out to some restaurant, she seems to be the type who loves eating healthy, he will start off there.
"Are you fine now? Noah you almost missed the entire class!"
"Yeah, I know. Kan and Mic covered for me. I owe them big time for completing my part of my responsibility."
"Yeah, you do. The other side of the beach was filled with waste, what do they want?"
He shrugs; he satisfied their demands in a second. "They demanded ten thousand each."
"You got lucky. How was your evening with Alex?"
Memories of the night before flooded, he is surprised of how soft Alex is. The way she spoke, the way she took care of him and the sadness in her eyes. His wolf tugged at him; they want the same thing, and he always gets what he sets his eyes on.
"Embarrassing, I was too drunk. Did you find the piano?"
They leave camp tomorrow. They have the entrance tests; they completed one before they got accepted but this is just to gage what level they will be placed. The contestants have been pardoned to prepare and write Friday, a week from now. Since he is also doing a short course in IT he has to prepare for that test too. He can't get below sixty or else he will have to go for extra classes, this is their first year, so it is mandatory that they take this very seriously.
"Yes. Lucas said that he will worry about it and all I need to worry about my one test, unlike you."
"That's child's play. It looks like my job of taking care of you for years now is over, golden boy must be very lucky."
Toby blushed his eyes averting his and Noah first thought that popped into his head is this morning, they did it. Wiggling is eyebrows and winking suggestively Toby flushed and pushed him back which invoked more uncontrolled laughter.
"Stop laughing Noah. No, we didn't." He takes a deep breath; "after dropping you off Leo and I went to our room. Everyone was wasted, like you but worse. Leo took Jayden to Jay's room, and it was just me and Lucas. "
His protected him long enough to know that he does not need him anymore. That sucks but they adults now, it's natural that they develop new priorities.
"We just spoke about it, sex." He whispered the last part, "and you know, we just kissed. Stop doing that face you know I said JUST... Noah."
He teased Toby but wrapping his arms around his shoulder and blowing kisses. His happy that things worked out like this, things could have been worse. Noah continued to make kissing sounds when a hand grabbed him from the back catching him off guard.
"Noah no."
Zippy yells. Whoever it was stood on his blind spot and his instincts took control. Grabbing the arm of the perpetrator and twisting it. He turned to use his arm as a bind and he wrapped it around, pinning the small body against his own body. It turns out the woman in his mercy was none other than his was his beautiful senior. He loosened his grip as to not hurt her, but he did not let her go, looking up he saw the other two. Ignoring the presence around him, he took advantage of the situation and decided to take in Alex's intoxicating floral scent. He found his Mate, his omega, his other half but why does she smell like that? Weird, usually she has no scent, and its markers are non-existent but today its different. Regardless of the difference they pieced together like a perfect puzzle.
"Agh. Noah. Let. Me. Go... You. Hurting me." Alex struggled frustrated. Oh shit. "You idiot. My arm."
He only remembered then he still held onto her and her perfect body perfect pressed onto his own. He releases her arm, but he did not want her to move from his arms, he felt body respond. Noah has only been in one relationship before, the rest of his conquest were just that, one-night stands. But Alex last name unknown for now is his acceptation, she will be his.
.
"Dammit. Toby, you told him!"
"Toby, what happened in that room had to stays there."
Ah they were keeping something, interesting. Something Only Alex and Leo as well as the Zippy know. Amused Noah stood back allowing doubt and uncertainty to play in their minds so that he will find out what they are hiding. Noah is most importantly interested; the alphas silence scared the young omega more than the chase. Toby was at a loss and Noah's attention peaked, intensifying his curiosity. The warm curves are pressed flushed on his chest, he heard the fluttering heartbeats, and his defensive use of language promised a good story.
"Listen- I-"
"Leo."
Leo's eyes widened; he was already awkward now he tensed up the moment he heard the voice of who called him come closer... more interesting. The closer was Jayden walking towards the group. Leo faced Jayden head on and silenced him, whatever they hiding has to be fun. What kept him silent was the woman in his embrace relaxing. Literally. If heaven deserved an angel, it would be this woman, the one in his arms. This is like what Disney Land feel like, happiness.
"Jayden, are you here to see your cousin?"
At that moment he could not allow Alex to keep moving because of the awkwardness of his situation, but the woman kept wiggling which was not helping his situation at all. Alex tried to inconspicuously escape. His feisty kitty rubbed against him and the further, the fiction made this useless conversation fade to the back. Leaning down he whispered, in a real low voice his manhood straining.
"Keep tempting me like that and have you in my room butt naked and you will beg me to fill you."
Trying to cook up a way in which he could get them to his room, Alex blurted something splashed cold water and stunned him enough that his gentle but firm grip eased.
"Last night Leo and I made out, we are exclusive?"
Both man and his fated mate stood at the crossroads, eyes wording a speech none but the two could comprehend. Alex got free from Noah's cage and slapped him as hard as she could... which hurt like a bitch but on the other hand he did deserve the fresh prince on his face.

Alex's p.o.v
Damn Toby and his inability to keep things to himself. Technically, she wasn't at fault. Leo had kissed her. But knowing that didn't make it easier to stomach. If, by chance, they knew, why were they all so calm? Especially Jayden. His silence was deafening. Alphas weren't meant to be with betas. Yet, this world seemed to bend its rules with effortless grace. And Jayden? Everyone knows how possessive he is over Leo, Leo looks at her with silent question in his eyes.
Maybe she's just spiralling. Maybe Noah's strong, intoxicating embrace was the problem. It brought her a kind of peace that bordered on dangerous. Her wolf ever the traitor kept insisting that the alpha holding her was her true mate. And in that vulnerable moment, when Noah's arms wrapped tighter around her inviting foreign emotions, she slipped. She said something she shouldn't have and immediately saw the crack in Leo's expression.
She felt Noah's, excitement. She panicked, she pulled away, breaking free from Noah's arms as though they were a prison. Her hand slapped him across his side, a flash of defiance. She braced herself for the consequences. Would he dare retaliate in public? When nothing happened, it only fuelled her frustration. She cursed him under her breath. For touching her like that. For crossing a line, she never invited him to cross. For making her feel something she didn't want. She was a woman of values. Of control. And Noah had just, Fuck Noah. Being with him feels oddly right.
There was so much potential for something pure between them, something everlasting, but now… she can't trust herself. Not when she's lying. Not when she's stealing something she doesn't deserve. She drifted back to Lucas's side, mind spinning, heart pounding. Jayden's eyes were still on Leo. From the moment it began years back, she'd noticed the tension between them. The way Leo averted Jayden's gaze, almost reverently. Almost… guiltily. She can't be that selfish. Yes, she disapproves of her friend's orientation. But that didn't make it right to lie. Or to take what was never hers.
