Chapter 7 - Tyran

Swish Swish Swish

A Lictor can be seen jumping Tree to Tree consequently snapping the branches it leaps from.

Thud

*Sniff Sniff Sniff*

The Lictor sniffles the surrounding as it landed on the Forest grounds trying to single out the scent the Hive Mind gave it from the rest of the smells that permeate the Forest air.

Squish Squish Squish

With its Cloak on it wanders the surrounding area while swaying its tail side to side when suddenly it stopped. It found a scent, though similar to the one the Hive Mind gave it, it has a stronger pull . It's stronger, heavier and quite alluring.

Though as alluring to a Tyranid as to a man smells an All You Can Eat Buffet across the block.

It decided, to follow that scent abandoning it's previous directive as it's independent mind allows to do so in order to bring more success to the Swarm.

It then jumped upwards and and pulled on the crown of the tree it landed on towards the ground, bending the trunk as much as the tree can without succumbing to the strain.

Creak Creak

WHOOOM!!

As the Lictor eased it's strength the tree straightened immediately and flung the Tyranid holding it into the air.

With it now airborne the Lictor straightened it's body so it doesn't spin out in the air.

Now all it needs is to sniff out that scent again and as it did it found out that the scent was stronger than anticipated.

Below it the treelines blitzed in a blur.

Then across the horizon it saw something. The tall trees ended. In its place a grassland as far it can see, even in its airborne state.

The Forest ends here, and that's bad. Why, well there's one thing. It's airborne. And with no Trees to catch itself it will slam onto the ground.

As its velocity slowed and the ground etched closer inviting intending doom.

The Cloaked Beast moved its posture pointing hoves first. Relying on the Lictors unique Hoves that have soft padding, enabling it to land from great heights and moves swiftly without making a sound and doing so safely.

It landed without breaking its slender legs and sprinted as soon it regained footing, which is immediately.

It ran for minutes crossing miles falling the scent as it grew stronger and stronger with each mile passed until.

It saw the thing it was looking for.

A City, with walls as tall as a Bio-Titan and in the distance a mountain. No a Castle carved into a mountain. A mountain that crosses the limits it can see into the sky far higher than any mountain the Hive Mind remembers.

It now had a new duty. Call the Swarm, then scout, probe and kill any individuals that could cause the Swarm a setback.

With great strength it leapt forward towards the City.

__________

(Anna POV)

Anna couldn't be any more unhappy. Why?

Because whenever she tries to create a Mawloc or a Trigon she gets a headache.

Any attachment concludes in a swiveling mass of teeth, scything talons and eyes.

Something it blocking her from creating her desired Biofroms and it displeases her.

"Hmm? The Lictor send a synaptic connection? Let's see"

She got snapped out of her frustration and looked into her memories she got from her little cloakey staby staby Tyranid.

In her mental space her eyes shined with stars in them as she gulped wiping non existent saliva.

"An entire city!! And is that a giant castle carved into a mountain? Sooo cool!"

"Ahem, alright hmmm all Bioforms abandon all current tasks. New order, make way to new location and ready for breakfast lunch and dinner!"

As she gave the order all Tyranids from Rippers, Gaunts to Biovores, Raveners and Tyranid Warriors stopped and made way in one direction.

"Good~ can't wait for all the new genes I can collect and ad to my collection~"

"Hmm it seems that the Lictors independent minds are a true fortune to have, abandoning direct orders to gather greater rewards. I'll give it a nice pat on the head if I could."

Through her countless visions she peered from her Carnifex's eyes as it made way towards the city.

"Carnifex you return to she Bio Ship I have a Spore ready to bring you up and you too Tyranid Prime get up here."

Anna has a fondness towards her one Carnifex and Tyranid Prime they just look so cute.

The Carnifex abruptly stopped from its sprint and turned around running back to a ready placed Spore Pod that will inflate and rire into the air towards the Bio Ship.

As did the Tyranid Prime, it relinquished its Synaptic connection towards the countless lower Tyranids and Warriors leaving it to Tyranid Alphas to comand as it ran to a Spore Pod.

Once both made into the Ship Anna nodded as she shouted with enthusiasm.

"Make sail! We go to find treasure! Arrgh"

____________

Knock Knock Knock

"Your Highness, your father his Majesty calls you to the court yard. Please get up from bed and let the maids dress you."

The door then opened as maids entered and pulled the sheets from the bed revealing the sleeping prince, or at least what he was trying to do.

"I can get dressed myself, I'm not a child."

He said as he rose up from his bed grumbling.

A maid dressed differently from the rest chuckled as she shook her head.

"You're still 15 your Highness that's still a baby compared to the hundreds our race can live so don't blame us for treating you so. Now please come and get dressed your father expects your haste arrival. Don't want to keep him waiting, no?"

The Prince grumbled and sighed.

"Well at least I'm not 400 years old like a certain old hag."

Immediately as he said this his head gained a fresh new bump on it with the maid blushing.

"You know not to tell a lady her age, that makes her anxious of their fleeing years. You're lucky I'm not as rash as I was 200 years ago or you'd be going to the physician."

The Prince sighed again as he let the maids dress him.

As they finished doing so and stepped out of his room and saw the one who woke him from his pleasant slumber.

Joth the head Knight of the Palace Guards and personal guardian of the King.

"Woah didn't expect you to come, aren't you supposed to stick with my father like... always?"

The Price joked as he smiled.

"Sigh, Aeleth if your father tells me to come and fetch you from across the Continent even it makes me to stay for months not by his side you know I will obey."

Joth them walked forward with Price Aeleth following behind him.

After what felt was half an hour of walking and it actually being so they finally arrived.

Two guards stood guard at a gate and as they saw their captain and the prince they stood to the side and opened the gate.

Aeleth and Joth entered as the gate behind them closed.

"Ahh you're finally here boy come here."

A man that looks in his thirties with a white beard spoke as he stood on a soft patch of grass.

That's King Jul, father of Aeleth.

"I'm here father, what are we doing now? More swords practice?"

Aeleth asked as King Jul gave a single nod.

"But before that tell me what is our Kingdom known for?"

Jul asked as Aeleths pointy ears twitched in annoyance.

"You ask that same question every time we do this, you know that I know the answer as mutch as everyone else."

Aeleth said in frustration as his ears dropped down.

"That's why I keep asking you. You'll be King one day and you know that, so you must know what our Kingdom stands on so you may be able to use it so it stays standing as others fall around us. Especially when the shorter lived races eye us for what we have."

Jul said as he crossed his arms with his eats rising.

Aeleth sighed as he spoke.

" Our Elven Kingdom of Tyran is known for its vast deposits of minerals and metals due to its location on the sacred mountain."

Jul nodded. "Indeed and thats why we have to keep vigilant for anyone who wants our resources, especially so that we are a City State. We can't expand because our surrounding lands are claimed by others and fighting a offensive war is Hardee than a defense one."

Aeleth couldn't help but ask. "Including Uncle?"

Jul laughed out loud at his son's question. "Him especially! He's been adamant at his daughter marrying you so his Empire can get a stake of our resources."

Aeleth's cheeks got a bit rosy.

"Father, I wanted to ask. But what race was my mother. I heard that that's the reason why my ears are shorter that the average Elf."

Jul shook his head. "Sorry son, I don't know. All she told me that she comes from a far away land were her kind is the only one to exist with there being no other race. I know as much as the person next to me about her race."

Aeleth stared to the next person standing right to his father's right.

"What your father means is that he knows as I do which is nothing so no need to ask."

Joth said as he continued to stand guard.

Aeleth sighed. Wait how many times has he sighed? He should stop or he'll sigh out all his happiness.

As the King and Prince pair got ready to train they heard a commotion outside.

"Whats going on out there."

Joth said out loud seeing that both King and Prince are looking at the gate seeing the two guards stopping a person who seems exhausted while begging to be let through.

"A man is here claiming to be from the city gate post saying he has a message for his Majesty the King." One of the guards said.

"That's right now please let me through its urgent very very urgent!"

As Joth was about to speak King Jul spoke first.

"Let him in."

Then the gate opened and the sweaty man entered stumbling gasping for air.

"Tell me,what happened for the City guard to send you here and not a message boy?" Jul asked the man before him.

"Hahh, hahh I am the message boy your Majesty there's an emergency." The boy said while gasping for more air.

"Tell me then what has happened." Jul frowned and asked. This is a serious matter.

"En-Enemy attack, the city is under attack!"

Shock swept though the yard as silence swept in and kidnapped noise.

Then Jul broke the silence and returned noise by asking.

"By whom? Is it Dragonia? Or the Beasts hungry for honorable battle?" Jul interrogated the poor boy who was as pale as the clouds during summer day.

"None of them! It's monsters! Monsters from the Forest not before seen. They are all attacking the City!!"

Jul in his Kingly instinct didn't probe further he knows when a boy is telling lies or when he's telling truth. The shivering legs told him enough.

"Joth! Call all to arms we are going to battle! Get me my steed!"

Joth nodded as ran towards the gate.

"Father let me join you I ca-"

"No! You stay here and wait for me to return and don't run of. Your are forbidden from leaving the Palace until its save."

Jul interrupted his son as be ran out of the yard.

"But Father im-"

"Listen boy! This is war and your still 15 you mist be atvleast 20 to even consider fighting Beasts that are contained by knight and chains let alone fight a horde of them. Now go to your room!"

Aeleth was interrupted again as he watched his father run of with Knights following him.

________

(Before the Messager Boy arrived)

The City of Tyrans Walls are one of the best Walls on the Continent. Able to ward of the numerous foes it fasted and didn't crack under their assault. Until now.

*Whistle*

Guards can be seen standing on the Walls with patrols passing from time to time as many stood guard watching the surrounding, looking for any would-be invaders until one saw something across the horizon.

He squinted his eyes and stared as the white/blue/purple mask of flesh and bones rode toward them. So many of them with there being no end in sight.

Like him many also spotted this and all felt something beyond just fear. They felt...tired?

Heavy suffocating weight on their hearts not from fear but from something else.

A..... Shadow. As in not visible yet tangible to their psyche.

One snapped out and shouted as loud as he could.

"ENEMY ATTACK SOUND THE BELLS!!!"

This snapped them all out yet the heaviness still there. Still weighing them down

DING DING DING DING DING

Soldiers from the barracks got out in gear and climbed the Wall. Many began evacuating civilians close to it towards the inner city close to the Palace.

"I don't fell good hel-" THUD.

A Elf in a Mages clothing said and fell unconscious before hebcould finish.

This happened across the Wall as Mages fell on the ground or fell on their knees with few strong ones or those with years of training managed to barely stumble.

Then the inevitable happened. The Swarm of Flesh hit the Wall screams echoing out in just strength that many guards and soldiers held their ears before they got used to it.

What they saw was a wave of beasts- no not Beasts, that's a insult of what they saw. It was Monsters. Monsters of varying degrees with many different types from small to large. All of then slamming into the Wall causing it to quacke.

"They are climbing the Wall!!! Deployed countermeasures!!"

A Leader among them screamed out, wearing a different uniform signaling his seniority in comand.

With his rally the men dropped black liquid on the monsters climbing the Wall and themselves then dropped torches on them setting them ablaze.

SCREEEEETCH

The screaming from the monsters rang out like a symphony only pleasing to tone deaf people.

"Bows ready!! Fire!!"

Soldiers fired bows on the monsters climbing the Wall in the thousands yet many bounced of them and many thousands more of such monster came from behind joining their climbing kin.

"Mages snap out and fire!!"

The Comanders voice rang out as the Mages with great difficulty stood up and channeled their will unto the Mana in the atmosphere and fired shots of lightning, fire, air, water.

All it did was give them little respite as many of the monsters just got up and started climbing again and those that died got buried under more of their hungry kin arriving.

Yet they held out, enough to hear the Army arriving from the city and the wings flapping in the air.

"The Army is here!" "The Wyverns Corps arrived we're saved!"

Many on the Wall shouted in joy.

The Comander sighed from relieve and as he was about to shout new order he felt....pain.

Excruciating pain. He looked down to hist chest and saw a massive scything talons piercing his entire chest from side to side.

Swoosh

The talon was removed as his chest parted in two and his upper , arms, shoulders and head fell first then his stomach and legs fell later.

The culprit? The Lictor, as it cloaked again and jumped of into nowhere.

"Comander just dead!"

The soldiers saw as their comanders body parted in two with the culprit escaping unseen.

Panic swept through the ranks. And that let the Tyranid Swarm climb half way through the Wall before the Army's comand took over and regained order to the chaos.

The Wyverns flew outside the city and spewed fire on the Wall clearing parts of it.

It was only a matter of time until they won. No matter how endless the monsters looked.

Before the men on the Wall could regain confidence in victory they saw a new wave incoming.

This time, it wasn't from the ground. No it was from...the sky!!!

SCREEEETCH

SWIN SWIN SWIN

PEW PEW PEW

Gargoyles flew into the fray any melee oriented flying onto the Wyverns and their Riders or the men on the Wall.

"AGGGGHHH!!"

"HELP HELP ME NOOOO- SCRTCH PLOM PLOP"

SNAP CRUNCH KATCH

The Gargoyles flew and swooped the riders on the men on the Wall and flew of manybkf them rip to shreds mid air as they got torn to bits and pieces their organs falling on their comrades covering them in blood and juice.

*RAAAGGHH*

The Wyverns weren't lucky to escape as the Gargoyles swarmed them and tore them to chunks as they crashed into the city leveling entire buildings and early stages of high rise towers.

Those who crashed on the Wall crushed the men who stood in their way and got turned into smoothies for the Tyranids to drink.

Gargoyles with Biomorph guns flew around and shot at the defenders and Wyverns with the shots varied from Acid, Parasites, Toxins or Seeds that would stick unto surfaces and sprout Razor sharp Vines that rip through the Elfs and cut clean through them in agonizing pain.

While that's happening Comanders that leave the sight of their men suddenly are seen missing chunks of theirs or ripped in half courtesy to the Lictor jumping post to post killing high value targets easing the strain on its lesser kin.

As the battle raged the men slowly succumbing to defeat heard the bells again.

"It's the King! He's here with reinforcements!"

Many cheered but instantly went back to battle as they saw some of their cheering comrades get ripped to shreds or swooped then ripped to shreds by the Gargoyles using Biomoroph guns or scything talons.

But they knew that their King, known for his Comand abilities sometimes called the Warrior King who follows his men to battle instead of hiding in the backlines like others is here. And that brings hope.

But as the King and his army arrived and set out to the Wall all men of the wall saw a plum of smoke and flame falling from the sky.

A single Mycetic Spore streaks across the clouds and lands in the Swarm far in the distance.

Many if not all are shocked. What was that falling from the sky. How's that possible the sky is the realm of gods.

The Spore splashed open as a giant monster exited the confines of the Spore.

The Carnifex.

It rose high on its hoves, spread out its 4 huge scything talons and screamed out in a loud primal roar different from the other Tyranids, sounding almost like a mix of a Tiger and a Lion but madder.

With the 4 scything talons tucked close to it signifying that it's of the Screamer-Killer variant it hunched forward and began to run forward towards the main gate of the Wall.

At first it was slow but as the seconds ticked by it got faster, then faster ,then faster until its faster than all the surrounding Tyranids and rammed the gate.

Crash!!!! THUMMMMMMP BOOOOOOM

The Gate...it fell.

And as the defenders hope was slipping what happened next completely broke it into unrecoverable pieces.

Raveners broke from underneath the soldiers behind the Wall and attacked everyone on sight with Gaunts following from their holes in single file.

Biovores across the Swarm outside shot out their Spore Cannons on the soldiers on the Wall and over it. Anyone hit turned into blood mist.

RROOOAAARRR

The Carnifex roard as it stode forward as behind it Swarm of Gaunts And Tyranid Warriors ran into the city.

The Tyranids have entered the City.

A Tyranid Warrior with a Venom Cannon aimed and shot at a Knight in full Armor.

As the shot it it mark the Knight welcomed a new companion on its body. A gaping hole on its chest. Or more like, no chest.

The Knight was split in two.

"Hiyah!!"

King Jul rode on his steed. A 8 legged horse, with his Lance infront of him along side his Knights.

A Knight on Horse back rode towards a Tyranid Warrior only for it to doge and lash out with bits Lash Wip, wrap around the Knight and pull it towards it and in one clean swipe cleave the Knight in two halves with its Bone Sword.

King Jul saw as many of his brave men killed or got killed.

From a Ravener jumping from underground grabbing a Knight with its Jaws and then dig back underground to a Soldier swarmed by Gaunts ripping him into chunks of flesh and bone.

Then he saw the culprit of this breakthrough, the Carnifex and rode towards it.

"HAAAA!!" Lace ready he charged toward it.

"ROOOARR!!"

The Carnifex responded with a roar and sidestepped King Jul and spun around hitting the Horse with its club tail smashing it into blood and meat paste.

Jul tell on the ground. His Lace lost in the chaos, but he regained footing and took out his great sword strapped on his back and stood before the Carnifex as it turned to face him.

Many Knights arrived to help their Lord and surrounded the Carnifex with few being attacked by other Tyranids.

One especially that fell on the ground and got picked up by a bystanding Ripper Swarm that came and went as it cleaned the battlefield of its Biomass/Corpses. Needless to say that guy died a death no one would want.

"ROOOAAARRR" The Carnifex roard as it tucked its head and revealed its back towards the King and his Knights.

Was it cowering?

No it wasn't. From its Chitin small holes can be seen, then the Carnifex screamed not roard. This scream discombobulated many Knights as Bio Plasma shot out from its holes on its back and pierced the men clean through.

King Jul managed to fall to the ground and avoid the Hellstrom of Plasma.

The Carnifex rose back up and swung its 2 upper scything talons in a arc cleaving through the Soldiers and Knights around it.

Then it ducked down and charged at them crushing many under hove and piercing others with its sharp horn on its head.

Jul was wary. This opponent is harder than any he faced. Then as he was about to attack he heard something. Something that made his face pale.

"Father!"

He turned his head and saw him. His son was here!! What's he doing here!!

"What are you doing get out of here now!!"

Jul screamed at his disobedient son with fear for his life.

Then he saw someone some from behind his son.

The Grand Mage!

"Elder!! Protect my son and get him to safety!"

The Grand Made that had arrived to support his King suddenly turn to see the Prince here. His face fell as he understood his Majesty's order.

"Prince come its dangerous we must leave!"

The Grand Mage approached the Prince who resisted the Mage from pulling him away.

"No!! I'm here to help father and won't go! Let go of me!"

Jul couldn't help but curse between breaths as he dodged another wave of Bio Plasma.

The Carnifex noticed the newcomers and the shift in Jul's body and understood, or more likely the Hive Mind looking through the Carnifex did. And so the Carnifex got new orders.

It roard and charged at the Prince who was resisting the Grand Mage who was pulling him.

Jul seeing this panicked and ran towards it and with one swing parried the talons that was aiming for his Son.

Aeleth escaping deaths kiss fell on the ground but what he saw after made his face go pale as milk.

His father had parried the strike aimed for him at an agle were the only way it would go was not to the side, but down. Right at his chest.

"Cough, Run you Fools!"

Jul spit blood as his teeth were painted scarlet and blood gushed out from his gaping wound with the talon still inserted.

The Grand Mage then used what little magic he could use due to the mysterious Shadow suppressing his abilities picked up the Prince and flew toward the Palace with the Prince handing on his shoulder.

"Nooo!!!!! Father!!! Noo!!!!!!"

Aeleth cried out in pain and regret.

He caused this. His father's demise he's the culprit.

"Rrrroooooaaarr!!!!!!"

The Carnifex having missed its target roard out but in return it got the opponent that kept running from its attacks.

It lifted up Jul and brought him closer to its face and roard at his face drenching it.

Jul with little strength remaining lifted his great sword and plugged it right into the Carnifex's right eye.

RRRRROOOOOOOAAAARRRRRR

It roard it purr pain and hatred.

Swinging around as Jul tried to dig his sword deeper.

It then slamed him unto the ground pulled ot its talon and swung it at the sword still in it eye snapping it of.

"Cough, cough Beast feel the pain cough. "

Before Jul could utter another word tye Carnifex swung down its talon at him at speeds unseen to the naked eye.

It pierced his head killing him but in its rage it continued to swing at his body continuously from head to chest and below until his entire body was gone. Only leaving chunks of flesh bone and blood.

"NOOOOOO!!!!"

Aeleth in the distance saw it all happen. Tears dripping from his face as the flew on the shoulders of the Grand Mage.

The King was dead. The defenders were overwhelmed, the civilians that didn't escape to the Palace got divorced with life.

On a roof a Tyranid Warrior aimed its Venom Cannon and fired.

The Venom flew out into the sky and hit the shoulder of the Grand Mage, ripping his shoulder and arm of his body.

"Agghhh!!"

He screamed but as quickly used his magic to burn the wound. Luckily the Prince was on his other shoulder.

Aeleth watched as Wyverns fell from the sky with Gargoyles still on it gnawing on it.

As the sky darkened due to smoke kf flames at the city burned.

Then they arrived at the Palace with civilians entering the Mountain Palace to find shelter.

The Grand Mage landed and was surrounded by Knights. With one among them standing out.

Joth, he was left behind to guard the Prince.

He had objections but his King orders were ordes. But seeing the state the Grand Mage were in and the Prince told him enough.

"Your Highness we need to get you to safety."

The Grand Mage who was deeply inhaling air spoke out.

"No! We must get him to the Port chamber he must leave immediately!"

Joth frowned. But then reluctantly nodded. Thats the safest safety could get.

The City proper was engulfed by the Swarm any still in it long dead and devoured.

As the Tyranids approached the Palace a barrier appeared before them blocking their path of slaughter.

Many crashed into it with many crashing into them. But soon enough the Swarm halted.

Inside the Palace Mages could be seen making a ritual with Crystal's surrounding them. Due to the Shadow weakening them they had to resort to Mana Crystals to power the Barrier. With Many Mages at the Barrier itself also having Crystal's with them

On the ceiling a faint ripple could be seen. The Lictor made it in before the barrier deployed. And now it found its source.

Many Mages could be seen making a circle around a small number of Master Mages with a Arch Mage in the center. Suspended above the Arch Mage was a Crystal the size of a Carnifex.

Floating by the mysterious powers of these prey.

The Hive Mind looking through its eyes understood the delicate state a ritual like this is. From her secondary memories of literature she knows its fragility and so orderd the Lictor do attack.

But the Lictor was not alone. Along side it was a pack of Leapers.

Leapers are the Lictors lesser forms. Forgoing the Cloak and lone hunter style it goes in in packs.

And so the Lictor jump from the ceiling and landed on a Master Mage killing him in one blow with the 12 Leapers that made accompanied it landing on the Mages surrounding them.

With the balance broken the Carnifex sized Crystal having lost the support of the Mages fell straight down. Down on the Arch Mage who before he could do anything was crushed under.

And so the slaughter began.

While that happened at the barrier itself the Mages supporting the physical aspect of it sudden felt the ground shaking beneath them.

BOOM!!

Raveners erupted from the ground and chomped down the Mages and started attacking everyone in sight screeching as their slit tongue licked the air.

The Barrier that held the Swarm at bay began to dissolve slowly from top to bottom and bottom to top.

Gargoyles that flew in circles flew right in and the Tyranids on the ground returned to their sprint.

The defenders of the Palace got quickly overwhelmed and devoured. Civilians that though that this is their save space got shredded to flesh bone and tears of fear.

Devourer Biomorphs on Tyranid Warriors shots bursts of Parasites at bare into flesh.

Barb Stranglers shot seed stas sprouted in

Vines that ripped all in its embrace.

Venom Cannons tore right through everything.

Joth who stayed behind to guard the way to the Port Chamber stood like a sentinel with the final orders of his King engraved in his bones.

He failed to protect his king, so he'll protect the Prince with his life.

A Tyranid Warrior came in the narrow corridor were he stood. It swung its Bone Sword as Joth dodged it and thrust his blade unto the nest kf the beast. The blade only drew blood and he stepped back.

The Tyranid Warrior then used a Lash Wip to find Joth but he dodged it.

Joth then took a Crystal from his belt and threw it at the Tyranid. It entered its mouth as jt was screeching, then it's head blew kf as the crystal blew up.

"Hahh,Hahh,Hahhh."

Joth panted as he looked at the headless Tyranid. If not for that crystal he'd be dead.

But before he could get any room to recover a new Tyranid entered.

Joths hairs stood on end.

This Tyranid Warrior was taller, bulkier and had 4 Scything Talons. No arms, who, sword or gunmorph. Just 4 pure pointy talons.

It was the Tyranid Prime.

Joth knew Tim his was his end, but he hoped to unleash enough force and damage it to slow its advance to the Port Chamber.

So he had to be first to strike.

"Haaaaaagggg!!!!!!"

He ran towards the Tyranid Prime griping his Sword and swung down on it.

SWING CLANG SCTCH RIP PLOP

Faster than he could react the Tyranid Prime parried his strike with 1 talon and used the 3 to pierce and Rio him into multiple parts as his remains ploped on the ground.

Anna looking through the Primes eyes was confused. Who was this idiot. Did this guy ready manage to kill a Tyranid Warrior?

Anna ignored this and orderd the Prime to continue its course.

Chaos rained in the Palace as the defenders still standing got shit at from Biovores suspended from the ceiling by their 6 talons legs.

Raveners poping up from the ground and taking a comrade into the depths of the earth and the Swarms of Gaunts shkting at clawing at them.

The Lictor and Leapers continued their hunt of terror as they killed Mages and Comanders who could rally the prey to a masterful defense.

The Carnifex, now missing an eye was running through the Palace smashing through walls and fortified areas. When it suddenly got new orders from the Hive Mind and rushed towards a certain direction.

__________

The Grand Mage was standing before a large mahjong circle with the Prince sitting in the middle of it on a chair wrapped in chains.

"Let fo of me!!! I will kill that beast!! It killed my father!! Agggghhh!!!"

Aeleth screamed out in rage while crying.

The Grand Mage now missing an arm ignored the Prince. Surrounded by other Mages as they chant and Knights to protect them they continued their duty.

Thump Thump Bom Bom BOM BOM

The door to the chamber was being hit as Tyranids have found the Port Chamber and are trying to smash in.

ROOOOAARRRR

The Grand Mage force as did everyone including the Prince .

The Carnifex was here and it was ramming the door.

Buckle sctteetch

The door buckled and cracked at a talon pierced its frame and a second one did. Pulling the door apart crating a gap were its head could be seen.

"RRROOOOOOAAAARRRR"

The Grand Mage knowing that time was fleeing choose the most rash way kf activating the Port Magic. He took out a dagger and pierced his own heart then pulled it out and spilled it on the magic circle turning the blue glow into scarlet red.

"No! Stop it!!"

Aeleth cried out in pain. Literally and figuratively. He didn't want to see the Grand Mage do this and yet what he did mad ehim feel pain. A consequence of the activation method.

"Forgive me your Highness but that's the only way now."

The Grand Mage then spilled more blood on the magic as the Carnifex slowly pulled the door apart.

The Magjc glowed brighter and brighter as more blood was spilled until-BOOOM.

The Carnifex broke through and roard

And then he charged at Aeleth ignoring the others as the Tyranid behind it Swarmed them.

Before it could reach Aeleth the Magic glowed to brighter it put the sun to shame.

"Nooooo!!!!" Aeleth cried out but as the Carnifex closed in on him the red light engulfed him and then he disappeared.

And the Kingdom of Tyran was no more
