Chapter 370: Gathering at the Thunder Palace, Enemies Meet Again!

As Lin Dong refined and absorbed the Heart of Thunder, Lin Fan exited the space within the Burning Heaven Cauldron ahead of him in a flash.

"Big Brother Lin Fan!"

Outside, Mu Lingshan—who had been growing a bit impatient—immediately lit up upon seeing Lin Fan reappear. Her big eyes sparkled with joy as she called out.

Lin Fan nodded slightly with a smile. "No trouble while I was inside, I hope?"

"Nope," Mu Lingshan shook her head, then asked, "Was the demonic corpse dealt with? And why isn't Big Brother Lin Dong out yet—don't tell me he got hurt?"

Lin Fan nodded. "Lin Dong and I worked together to purge the Yi Mo energy from the corpse. After regaining his sanity, the corpse's final obsession faded, and he transformed into a Heart of Thunder."

"Lin Dong stayed behind to absorb it. He'll be out once he's finished."

"You guys are amazing," Mu Lingshan said with admiration, finally relaxing.

She knew very well how dangerous that demonic corpse had been—its power had rivaled a Death Profound Realm Great Completion expert.

Lin Fan smiled and didn't explain further.

The two chatted casually while waiting for Lin Dong.

After a while, Lin Dong finished absorbing the Heart of Thunder and emerged from the Burning Heaven Cauldron.

With a wave of his sleeve, he put the cauldron away.

Mu Lingshan rushed forward to greet him, chatting cheerfully and asking about the effects of absorbing the Heart of Thunder.

"Let's go. Time to head to the core of the temple," Lin Fan said with a smile after a brief exchange between the two.

He turned into a rainbow streak of light and shot off toward the deepest part of the Reincarnation Temple.

Lin Dong and Mu Lingshan quickly followed.

Along the way, although they passed many areas where traces of hidden treasures could be sensed—and where many experts were already gathered—they didn't stop.

Their goal was clear.

By the time dawn broke across the sky, the three of them had already reached the temple's inner depths.

Here, the sky had darkened noticeably. Black thunderclouds loomed above, and the rumble of thunder echoed ominously across the land.

"There are a lot more powerful auras around here now…" Mu Lingshan glanced around with her big eyes.

Lin Fan nodded silently. He'd already sensed these stronger individuals. Compared to the people they'd encountered earlier, the newcomers were indeed more formidable—but still not a real threat to him.

An hour later, the trio came to a sudden stop, their eyes turning to the vast land ahead.

There, an endless silver plain stretched beyond sight. Thunder slithered like snakes across the ground, creating what looked like a magnificent sea of lightning.

At the same time, massive chasms covered the terrain—each one stretching for tens of thousands of feet and unfathomably deep. Their irregular shapes made it clear: these were not naturally formed. They were the remnants of a catastrophic battle.

"A battle must've taken place here… one that nearly tore the land apart," Lin Dong muttered, shocked by the sight.

"This should be the battlefield the senior mentioned—the one between the Thunder Emperor and the Yi Mo King," Lin Fan said calmly.

"Eh? Where's the Thunder Palace?" Mu Lingshan looked around in confusion.

There was no palace to be seen—only devastation. Whatever had once stood here had long been reduced to rubble in that ancient war.

Lin Fan raised his head and said slowly, "The Thunder Palace isn't on the ground… it's in the clouds."

Lin Dong and Mu Lingshan both looked up.

"It's in the sky?" Mu Lingshan blinked in surprise.

"Let's go," Lin Fan nodded, then soared upward toward the thunderclouds above.

The other two followed closely.

As they neared the cloud layer, the rumbling thunder grew deafening. Violent thunder energy saturated the air, and streaks of lightning danced through the clouds like serpents.

Soon, the three of them broke through the upper layer of thunderclouds—and finally saw it.

A massive, awe-inspiring Thunder Palace stood atop the clouds, ancient and imposing, its majesty leaving them breathless.

"So this… is the Thunder Palace…" Lin Dong stared, taking a deep breath.

Lin Fan remained calm. He swept his gaze around and immediately noticed that there were already many figures scattered across the thunderclouds surrounding the palace.

Clearly, they had all come for the same purpose.

Suddenly, Lin Fan's gaze narrowed.

On a distant part of the thunderclouds stood three figures, all smiling with amusement as they stared at him.

Their robes were patterned in alternating black and white—yin and yang swirling across their clothes.

That pattern… Lin Fan was very familiar with it from the Eastern Xuan Region.

"Yuan Gate…"

The moment Lin Fan recognized them, Lin Dong also noticed. His eyes darkened instantly, and a surge of killing intent welled up in his gaze.

"Lin Dong, what's wrong?" Mu Lingshan asked in confusion, following their gaze until she saw the three men.

"You've got a grudge with those three?" she asked quietly.

Lin Dong nodded slightly.

"Want me to take them out?" Mu Lingshan gripped her Life-Death Coffin Lid, excitement flickering in her bright eyes.

"No rush," Lin Fan smiled. "Let's wait until we're done with the Thunder Palace first."

"Oh…" Mu Lingshan pouted, pulling back her enthusiasm for now.

Lin Dong quickly calmed himself as well.

Meanwhile, the three Yuan Gate members had also noticed Lin Fan and Lin Dong. They smiled playfully, clearly unconcerned.

"Boss, when do we make a move?" asked the silver-haired man, his eyes gleaming. He glanced at the one standing before him—a man with a single white strand falling from his otherwise black hair.

That man's black eyes were strange and unfocused. "Not yet. Entering the Thunder Palace comes first. That's our priority."

At his words, a strange gleam flashed deep in the silver-haired man's gaze. In a low voice, he asked, "Is that person… really here?"

"He should be," the white-haired man nodded faintly. Then his gaze swept toward Lin Fan, the Xuan Heaven Palace group, and others. He murmured:

"Besides… we still need to get the three Silver Tower Keys."
