A bit of common sense when using powered armor:
Don't expect it to be especially agile when it comes to walking.
Mechanical joints have difficulty balancing three things at once—power output, speed of articulation, and durability.
Not to mention the noise problem.
Whether it was armored feet striking the floor or the sound of mechanical joints moving, all of it highlighted just how incredible biological joints really were.
So when not flying—when moving on the ground or through cramped indoor spaces—other systems had to be relied upon.
In the original design, the Duck-form Duck-Leopard Armor had several omni-directional wheels hidden beneath the flippers, intended to move the suit along the ground.
Leg motion would only assist when dealing with complex terrain.
But that mobility system was quickly abandoned.
Motor drive issues, braking, noise, maintenance difficulty, durability—too many problems remained unresolved.
Clearly, it was not a mature design.
By contrast, using gravitonium to create a low-hover state, combined with small posture-adjusting jets, allowed movement similar to gliding on roller skates.
It was fast.
It was agile.
And it could share systems with the flight mode.
When outputting only minimal thrust, the noise level was also extremely low—quiet enough that ordinary human hearing would struggle to notice it.
Thus, this became Green Arrow Duck's preferred ground movement method.
The only inconvenience came during shooting.
Because firearm recoil would push the lightly hovering Green Arrow Duck backward.
At those times, he either had to constantly adjust posture—or simply land and brace both feet for stability.
Green Arrow Duck's various scanning modes included infrared heat detection, sonic disturbance imaging, and other systems capable of seeing through obstacles.
This wasn't because Henry thought Kryptonian abilities alone were enough and therefore skipped technological development.
If ordinary people were to wear the armor—or if it was remotely controlled—then such functions still had to exist.
Otherwise, developing powered armor would be pointless.
Considering that this was not yet an era where every trivial incident got uploaded online for strangers to discuss, Green Arrow Duck abandoned the idea of hacking computer systems to track Blade's movements.
Instead, he decided to catch a tongue and interrogate directly.
Using silent hover movement, Green Arrow Duck slipped behind an unlucky isolated target—
And captured him in one move.
Dragging the man into a blind spot beyond camera view, Green Arrow Duck asked:
"Quack quack quack."
"What?"
Ah.
Forgot to switch voice mode.
That was the encrypted communication setting used for Panther Form.
Switching to normal speech mode, Green Arrow Duck asked again:
"Where did Deacon Frost and the other vampires go?"
"Okay, Robin Hood, why don't you go back to Disneyland?"
The captive sneered.
"Don't think hiding in a mascot suit scares me. Come back wearing something uglier."
As he spoke, the man threw a full-force punch straight at the mascot duck head.
Then his tough expression instantly collapsed.
He nearly cried.
Apparently he hadn't expected that beneath the plush exterior wasn't foam padding or soft support—
But heavy tank-grade composite armor.
The harder he punched, the more it hurt.
Green Arrow Duck, of course, felt zero sympathy.
With the left hand restraining the man, he raised his right hand in front of the captive's face.
Electrodes extended from the tips of the index and middle fingers like stun prongs.
Blue arcs crackled violently between them.
"You ever been shocked by a cattle prod?
Know why cows start running after they get zapped?
Honestly, I haven't.
So be sure to tell me your experience."
Then he applied it.
The thug's whole body stiffened instantly.
Violent convulsions followed.
Luckily he hadn't had time to open his mouth.
Otherwise he might have bitten his own tongue off.
Once the first charge was spent, Green Arrow Duck asked again:
"Where did Deacon Frost and his vampires go?"
"I... don't know..." the man managed to force out.
"What? You don't know?"
Green Arrow Duck gave him another full-body nervous system treatment.
The man could only widen his eyes and strain out:
"Ghhhhh—!"
Green Arrow Duck patted his cheek.
"I'll ask one last time.
Where did they go?"
"Fuck! Donald Duck!"
The man screamed.
"I really don't know! I'm just building security! This is a normal job! Why would those freaks report their plans to me?!"
Looks like he was telling the truth.
Slightly disappointed, Green Arrow Duck casually shocked him one more time—
This time hard enough to knock him unconscious.
"You're carrying a gun and working for vampires.
Don't paint yourself as innocent."
Dropping the limp man aside, Green Arrow Duck began searching for the next victim.
Looks like ordinary patrol staff were useless.
Too low-level.
No useful information.
He needed someone with rank.
Or better yet—
A vampire.
Within the armor's detection range, there were no abnormal-temperature entities resembling vampires.
But switching to the wearer's own natural senses, Henry locked onto targets immediately.
The problem was route planning.
No matter how he calculated it, exposure would be difficult to avoid.
And forget those movie-style air ducts big enough for a person to crawl through.
Green Arrow Duck's body size was larger than most adult men.
Even if such absurd vents existed, he wouldn't fit.
So after selecting the shortest route—
Green Arrow Duck began his push inward.
Even so, he didn't recklessly expose himself.
Every security camera along the path was destroyed before it could capture his image.
If one was positioned directly around a blind corner where exposure was unavoidable the moment he turned—
He still refused to let even half an arm be recorded.
Instead, he used ricochet shots to destroy them in advance.
The reason he didn't simply hack the surveillance system was simple:
To hack something, the enemy needed to have computers.
Their entire security network was still old-school tape recorders and cable systems.
Hack what exactly?
These antiques used antique equipment.
Who could he complain to?
Although Green Arrow Duck was certain his image had not been captured, cameras failing one after another was enough for anyone with a functioning brain in the control room to know something was wrong.
Reinforcements were already on the move.
Apparently there were capable people in the control room.
From intercepted walkie-talkie chatter, Henry learned they had deduced his direction simply from the order in which cameras were destroyed.
And from that, predicted his likely route.
So naturally, those reinforcements moved to block the intruder's path.
More than a dozen men stacked into a narrow corridor, filling it wall to wall.
At least they had some brains.
They left clear firing lanes.
More than ten pistols were aimed directly at the corner Green Arrow Duck would have to turn.
