The first one to give the gift was not baroness Weiss Souran. That actually made a lot of sense. The Skepa family would be trying to present her gift probably as the last one among the barons.
That was actually a good thing to do. If Baroness Souran lived up to everyone's expectations of hers and gave a super valuable gift, then anything that came after it would look bland and unimpressive compared to hers.
So in order to give the other barons some breathing room and an opportunity to actually show off their things, it was decided that Weiss was going to be the last of the baron section.
So the nobles patiently started to wait for Weiss's turn while also keeping a lookout for the things that other baron's were gifting. And the first baron was actually not a disappointment.
